By age nine Sandy Boyd had been introduced to the occult by her grandmother, and by her early teens her satanist father had exposed her to drugs, trapping her in addiction.
Desperate to escape, Sandy ran away at seventeen, married, and had a daughter—but the turmoil followed her. One night, she encountered a terrifying dark figure commanding her to teach her daughter the ways she had learned. Horrified at the thought of passing on the curse, Sandy made a chilling resolution: she would end her life so her child could escape the bondage she could not.
On the day she planned suicide, she drove to a remote spot and lifted a razor blade to her wrist… when her hand brushed against something wedged between the seats,it was a small Gideon New Testament. She had never seen it before. She opened it, found the sinner’s prayer, and with tears streaming, surrendered her life to Jesus.
That moment became the turning point. She contacted the only Christian she knew, her former father-in-law—a pastor—who took her in. Over the next three years Sandy was discipled, delivered, and transformed. Today she is a pastor, a wife, a mother, and a first-generation believer whose testimony is shared in her book titled Transformed.

Sandy’s story mirrors the true heartbeat of Christmas. Christ was born to destroy the works of the devil.
Sandy Boyd would have been doomed to a destiny of occultic bondage but Jesus miraculously delivered her. The important issue of Christmas is not so much that Jesus came, but why He came. Jesus came to set the captives free.(1 John 3:8 )
While we commemorate the birth of Christ, we must keep in mind that His birth was just the first step in God’s glorious plan for our redemption.
In a world full of spiritual wickedness, Jesus was born to die and deliver us from every satanic bondage
He shed His Blood to break the devil’s stranglehold on the lives of men.
Through Christ, our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers (Psalm 124:7).
Christmas is about how God has touched our lives with his love by sending His Son to free us from captivity.
As we prepare to cross over into the new year, the Blood of Jesus will certainly destroy every pharaoh still trying to keep us in bondage. The Egyptians we saw in 2025 we shall see them no more forever.
None of the sickness, financial instability, relationship crisis and other troubles of 2025 shall cross over with us. Surely affliction shall not arise a second time.
Let us therefore keep praising God for going before us to break the gates of brass, cut asunder the bars of iron and usher us into our glorious new season .

PRAYER
Lord, thank You for sending Jesus to reveal Your love and destroy every work of the enemy in my life. I receive Your freedom, Your power, and Your victory. As I step into a new season, I walk in deliverance and dominion, knowing that the Blood of Jesus has secured my liberty forever. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
