1 Corinthians 15:58 (MSG)
“With all this going for us, my dear, dear friends, stand your ground.
And don’t hold back. Throw yourselves into the work of the Master,
confident that nothing you do for Him is a waste of time or effort.”

Allyson Felix is regarded today as the greatest female sprinter in history, yet her journey began with ridicule—not applause. As a teenager at Los Angeles Baptist High School, her classmates often mocked her because of her thin frame and slender legs. Their harsh words could have crushed her confidence, but Allyson had a Christian father who continually directed her to God.
With his encouragement, Allyson threw herself into her sports career: training relentlessly and trusting God.
At age 18, she shocked the world by winning a silver medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics. This was only the beginning. Over the next two decades, Allyson Felix accumulated 31 Olympic and World Championship medals, becoming the most decorated track and field athlete in global history.
Allyson openly testifies that every victory, every medal, and every breakthrough in her career came by the grace of God.
Allyson’s life teaches us that when you entrust God with your story, it will end in glory and not shame.
In our journey, we will sometimes face seasons of mockery, setbacks, delays, and discouragement, but Scripture commands us to remain “steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord…”
Though your vision may tarry, though things may seem initially stalled, refuse to quit. Remain steadfast and keep blessing the Lord at all times.
Nothing great is built overnight. Every destiny-shaker in Scripture endured difficult seasons but triumphed because they refused to quit.
Joseph held on through betrayal and prison—then came glory.
David persevered through wilderness years—then came the throne.
Paul pressed through persecution—then came global impact.
The same God is writing your story.
God never allows pain without purpose. As you keep serving Him despite the odds, He is preparing you for a dimension of glory bigger than anything you have seen.
This year may be drawing to an end, but God is not done. As you keep pressing, believing, and abounding in His work, the Lord will cause you to emerge with testimonies that silence every mocker and announce His glory upon your life.
PRAYER
Lord, please grant me the strength to remain steadfast in every circumstance. Help me to press on in faith, obedience, and consistency, knowing that the glory ahead is greater than anything I have been through. I declare that my story this year will end in victory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
