In China, in 2018, a young Christian named Joseph Turdakuna was arrested by government officials because of his faith..For nearly a year he endured brutal interrogations, isolation, and confinement in a pitch-dark cell with no window or light.
During this time, Joseph often recalled a vision his pastor had received two years earlier. In the vision, Joseph was seen locked away in a dark room, but suddenly a mighty hand reached in and pulled him out into freedom. That picture stayed alive in Joseph’s heart throughout his ordeal, strengthening his faith in God’s power to deliver.
Instead of succumbing to despair, Joseph used his imprisonment as an opportunity to preach Christ to fellow inmates. Many were encouraged and touched by his boldness. Ten months later, just as the vision had foretold, Joseph was unexpectedly released. Though placed under house arrest afterward, God continued to make a way for him.
By 2019, Joseph, his wife, and their son managed to flee the country. Though Chinese authorities sought to repatriate them, divine intervention opened doors through US Christian organizations and government support. Eventually, the family was granted safe entry into the United States.

Our decision to honor and serve God will often attract attacks from the forces of hell, but in every situation, we must be assured that God’s mighty hand is able to deliver us.
Psalm 34:19–20 reminds us: “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.”

When Peter was locked up in prison to be executed the next morning, surrounded by guards, it seemed impossible to escape. Yet God sent an angel who walked right into the prison, broke his chains, and led him out. That same God is still at work today.

No situation in your life is beyond God’s reach. He is the way-maker who specializes in turning obstacles into miracles and trials into testimonies. The power of God at work in a believer’s life ensures that no matter the attacks, you cannot remain down. Just like oil always rises above water, the child of God cannot be permanently suppressed.
As we come to the close of this month, let us look back with gratitude. We can testify that the Lord has indeed been faithful. And as we continue to honor Him and put Him first, we can look ahead with confidence. Greater testimonies await us in the coming days and our story will be ‘from glory to glory and from victory to victory.’

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for the faith to believe You for my own miracles. You are forever faithful, and I know that even right now, You are performing amazing wonders in my life, in Jesus’ Name.
QUOTE: There is something that God has placed within you that the world is eagerly awaiting to see. – WORDBITE 222
