Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone is one of the most exceptional athletes of our time. At just 22, she broke her own 400m hurdles world record at the 2022 World Championships. Then at the 2024 Paris Olympics, she did it again—defending her title in record time and leading the U.S. women’s 4x400m relay to a gold-medal victory. Her achievements are so outstanding it puts her in a class of her own. Yet, what truly sets her apart is her faith.
Every time she wins, while millions of people try to celebrate her, she points them to Christ as her source of strength. Sydney boldly uses her interviews, social media, and public appearances to declare that all glory belongs to Jesus. She once said, “My identity is not in what I do, but in who Christ is in me.”
Her modesty, humility, and spiritual conviction is an inspiration to many around the world.. Alongside her husband, Andre Levrone Jr., Sydney is determined to use her influence to honor God and make Jesus known.
Sydney’s story is a modern example of what it means to glorify God with your gifts and be blessed in return.

To glorify God is to put Him first in every aspect of life—your time, talent, treasure, and testimony. It means living in such a way that when people see you, they see Jesus shining through.
John 12:26 reminds us that those who serve Christ will be honored by the Father. That means when we make honoring God our lifestyle, we open the door to a lifetime of divine promotions, blessings and visibility.
You may not have a global platform like Sydney, but you have a voice, an influence, and a life that can reflect God’s glory wherever you are. You honor God in how you speak, how you love others, how you handle success, and how you remain faithful under pressure.
Today let us refuse to blend in with a culture that celebrates self. Rather let us be bold about our faith. Let our achievements, our work, and our witness point back to Jesus. When we surrender all to Him, He makes our lives shine with a glory no man can deny. As we live every day as a reflection of His majesty—certainly God will use our lives to draw others to Himself.

PRAYER:
Lord, I receive grace today to honor You with my words, choices, and victories. I also receive the strength to never compromise my stance for You . May my life glorify You daily and shine with Your beauty, in Jesus’ Name.
