Isaiah 60:1-2 ‘Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.’’

‘50 Years with the Golden Rule’ was authored by the business icon, James Cash Penney. It is the story of the global company he started and how he learned to rely on divine help
In 1902, James Penney opened his first store. Though he was the son of a Baptist pastor, he had little faith in God, but rather through his own strength and determination he tried to expand his business, the JC Penney Company.
As his stores began to thrive, Penney became relatively wealthy and in 1929, he was worth $40 million. It seemed he had indeed been able to succeed by his own efforts, without seeking God..But by the next year tragedy struck! The stock market crashed, leaving him in total financial ruin. His debts exceeded $7,000,000 and overnight Penney went from being a very rich man to becoming totally bankrupt. Unable to bear the weight of this calamity, he collapsed. When he was admitted into the hospital, he didn’t even have money to pay his medical bills.
In that period of despair, Penney finally turned to God for help and completely surrendered his life to Christ.
After his spiritual renewal, he became totally healed and eventually rebuilt his company. This time he succeeded beyond his wildest expectations as corporate sales ran into billions and his business expanded to eventually become a very successful global venture.
Proverbs 11:28 says ‘he that trusteth in his riches shall fall’.
God is the true source of success. It is His blessings that makes rich and adds no sorrow with it.
We experience true prosperity, multiplication and expansion when His glory comes upon us.
His glory brings about wealth. The first time the word “glory” was given a mention in the Holy Bible, it was used to refer to wealth and to riches in Genesis 31:1 which says “And he heard the words of Laban’s sons, saying, Jacob hath taken away all that was our father’s; and of that which was our father’s hath he gotten all this glory”‘.
When glory shows up, there is a supernatural transfer of wealth from the kingdom of darkness into the Church; the wicked go broke and the saints become economically empowered!
This year, the glory coning upon the Church will be manifested through a massive wealth transfer. Wealth will be falling like manna upon many believers. But we must first be prepared for this glory invasion by building a strong spiritual foundation of total dependence upon God. It is preparation that leads to manifestation.
As we begin to seek the Lord with greater fervency in this season of prayers, surely it will be our time to arise and shine for our light will come and the glory of the Lord shall arise upon us.
PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for the glory You are set to manifest in my life. By the turnaround power of the Holy Spirit, I know I am about to see positive changes and enjoy divine success and unprecedented progress in Jesus Name.
