1 Corinthians 2:10-11 ‘But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit. For the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so no man knoweth the things of God, but the Spirit of God.’

David Yonggi Cho is best known as the Korean Pentecostal leader who founded the world’s largest megachurch.
He started out in ministry in 1956, as a student of theology at Full Gospel Bible College in Seoul. Even before graduating, he felt compelled to begin preaching. Having no money, Cho started out by putting up a tent with no seats, only straw mats strewn on the ground. At this time, the Korean war had just ended and many Koreans were homeless and jobless as a consequence of the War. Cho soon realized that the despair of the people was so great that by himself he could never be able to help anyone or meet their needs. Having been taught about the power of Holy Spirit in the Bible School, Cho began to pray for the infilling of the Holy Spirit to empower him to minister to the sick and hurting Koreans.
After finally receiving the infilling, Cho maintained daily fellowship with the Holy Spirit by spending time in His Presence, praying, studying the Word and worshipping.
The daily fellowship transformed his life as he began to receive power and definite instructions from the Holy Spirit, whom he called his ‘Senior Partner’. After graduating from Bible college, the Holy Spirit impressed upon him where and how to begin the Yoido Full Gospel Church.
Cho began the Church which in a tent with only 5 people. But by following the guidance of the Spirit, over the years, the small Church eventually grew to become the world’s largest congregation.

The Holy Spirit is God’s divine executive agent in the world today. It is therefore necessary that we seek and develop intimate fellowship with Him as our Senior Partner to be able to accomplish God’s divine projects on earth.
By own power and might, we can never qualify to carry out God’s divine plan. Whatever vision or dream God gives us will always be bigger than our ability and capability. This is because the work of God cannot be done by the flesh, but rather by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Indeed it takes God’s supernatural power to execute His divine mandate for our lives.
It is only through the Spirit that we can have a deeper understanding of God’s Word, purpose and plan.
1 Corinthians 2:9 tells us that God has ‘revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.”
Without the Spirit we can never know the deep things of God or understand what He is doing at any given time in our lives. We must understand that the Holy Spirit is really interested in helping us succeed in life and ministry, however that will happen only when become willing to submit to a life of consistent intimate fellowship with Him. As we do so, He will guide us to our green pastures and lead us to greater open doors in all our endeavors.

PRAYER Lord, Please help me to be willing to pay whatever price it takes, to grow in fellowship and intimacy with You so that by Your Spirit, I can be guided on the journey of destiny and excel exceedingly in Jesus Name.
