Psalm 150:5-6 ‘ Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.’

Albert Benjamin Simpson was working hard to succeed in his ministry when his health failed and he came close to death. But through the power in the Blood of Jesus he received divine restoration.
A.B Simpson founded a major evangelical denomination, published over 70 books and wrote many Gospel songs and poems. Converted to Christ as a teenager, he began early to prepare to become a minister. Despite health challenges, he was determined to succeed as a minister. He did indeed succeed and by age 30 he was the pastor of the largest Presbyterian church in the United States at the time. But his intense labor to achieve his ministry goals caused his health challenges to surface again. He felt unwell and walked around as a tired old man, though he was only 37 years old. One day, a doctor told him frankly that his days were numbered and he had little time left to live. At that point A.B Simpson knew he needed God to intervene.
He began searching through the Scriptures until he became convinced that divine healing was his portion because of the price of Blood Christ paid at Calvary.
As he cried out in prayer, the Lord healed him and saved him from an early grave. His healing changed the direction of his entire ministry and for the rest of his life he preached divine healing and praised God. In praising God, A. B Simpson composed the lyrics of over 120 hymns, which are sung all over the world today.
In Isaiah 38, King Hezekiah was doing good works and leading the people to serve God. But in the prime of his career, he suddenly got very sick to the point of death.
When the prophet Isaiah told him he was about to die, Hezekiah started praying and crying to God for mercy. God heard him and healed him and gave him another 15 years. Overjoyed, Hezekiah committed the rest of his life to praising God.
He said, “For the grave cannot praise you, death cannot sing your praise; those who go down to the pit cannot hope for your faithfulness. The living, the living–they praise you, as I am doing today..” (Isaiah 38:18, 19).
Indeed our being alive in the land of the living is to praise God.
Psalm 150:6 ‘Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD’
As long as we have breath, we are to use it and praise God continually. Anything trying to stop you from praising and celebrating the Lord is attempting to cut short your breath. Therefore we must resist depression, sadness and other joy- stealers.
Psalm 30:9 says ‘What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?’
The profit our blood to God is to praise Him. This is the reason why He has created us. If we want to enjoy long life and divine blessing then we must commit to a lifestyle of continually praising God. Therefore today, by the Blood of Jesus, let us come against the forces that try to hinder our praise because they are destiny destroyers. By the power in the Blood of Jesus, we shall continually bless the Lord with our every breath so that we will continually enjoy His miracles of healing, deliverance and preservation.
PRAYER: Father. today, by the Blood of Jesus I claim my victory over everything trying to hinder my joy. Thank You Lord for the grace to praise You continually in every circumstance in Jesus Name.
