Isaiah 54:17 “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgement thou shalt condemn.”

In July 2013, Fox News and other major News outlets reported the miraculous survival of Morgan Lake. On Friday, July 18 at 8 p.m., Morgan, a 22-year-old college student was driving across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, when suddenly a large tractor trailer truck rammed into the rear of her car and pushed it over the bridge barrier into the waters below. As her car plunged into the river and quickly submerged beneath the water’s surface, her seatbelt which was locked refused to open. As she struggled to escape she felt her mouth and body filling up with water and realized she was about to drown. But in that moment of desperation she refused to accept the obvious and rather declared “I’m not dying.” As she defied death and cried out to God, suddenly something miraculous happened; she said she felt as if God touched her shoulder and by divine intervention allowed her to unlock her seat belt and then pull herself out of the driver side window and swim to the surface. She then swam to shore where help arrived. Passersby who saw her, captured her rescue on camera. Her story has been shared all around the world on social media as a modern day miracle. Morgan who is a Christian told the media that one of her family’s favorite scriptures is Numbers 14:17 (NIV), which says “Now may the Lord’s strength be displayed, just as you have declared.” Indeed as she declared she would not die, God’s strength was displayed to deliver her from the jaws of death.
Certainly our deliverance is on our mouth. It doesn’t matter the kind of situation you may find yourself in, as long as you can keep declaring the Word of God and refuse to give in, your deliverance is sure.
Your ordeal may not be going over a bridge and plunging into the water, but sometimes situations can arise that may seem equally as frightening. It could be facing financial crisis, sickness, family problems etc. Whatever the situation, as a child of God, you have the power of faith within you to overcome the world. That includes everything in the world, and everything the world brings your way! Whenever the enemy tries to push you over or push under the water, secure your deliverance by declaring the Word of God. Find scriptures to speak over your problem.
God has not given anyone the gift of miracles, rather what He has given us is the gift of working of miracles (1 Cor. 12:10). If we want a miracle, then we must work it out. And one of the key ways we can secure our miracle is by declaring God’s Word.
Your deliverance is in your tongue! Prov. 18:21 says ‘Death and life are in the power of the tongue’ and Matthew. 12:37 says you are either justified or condemned by the words you speak.
Indeed God has programmed our tongues for our deliverance. What becomes of us is largely determined by the words we speak. In the world of the spirit, you can’t afford to be silent. No sound, no deliverance. Therefore in this season of expecting to see glory, we must put our tongue to work by declaring the manifestation of glory in our lives. Indeed what we say is what we will see
Isaiah 44:26 says “That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers”.
Surely God will confirm our declaratons in this season. Therefore whatever challenges you may face today, instead of speaking negative words, declare the manifestation of God’s glory through that situation. Declare that it will surely all end in praise and that God’s Name will be glorified in your life. And as we continually speak God’s praise, His glory will surely surround us. Indeed the more we praise God, the more we will be raised out of every negative situation.
PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for the grace to always speak words that magnify You.. And as I continue to release Your power through praise, I thank You for the speedy manifestations of Your glory in my life in Jesus’ name.
