Jeremiah 1:19 ‘And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the Lord, to deliver thee.’

Emperor Julian, is known to history as ‘Julian the Apostate’, because though brought up as a Christian, when he became emperor in A.D. 360 he opposed Christianity.
Julian had taken an active role in the church in his youth, but as he grew older he turned his attention to studying and exploring paganism.
He became the Emperor at a time when Christianity was just beginning to flourish in the Roman Empire.. As soon as he came to power he suddenly decided to stop the progress of the Church.. Julian ordered the rebuilding of pagan temples in Rome and tried in many ways to stop Christianity. He prohibited Christians from serving in the Emperor’s bodyguard, and removed Christian officials from government.
He tried to turn the Jews against Christians and in a way to gain Jewish support, he planned to rebuild their Temple in Jerusalem which had earlier been destroyed by the Roman army.
In 363 A.D, Julian ordered work of the rebuilding to start earnestly. But Historians recorded that the venture was brought to an abrupt end by a strange occurrence of fearful balls of fire falling upon the workmen until they abandoned the project. This strange occurrence was seen as God fighting for the Christians and it led many in Jerusalem to convert to Christianity, causing Emperor Julian’s plan to backfire.
Shortly after this, Julian died while at war against Persia. His short reign of only a few years was put down to divine intervention by the Christians.

Just as past persecutions against the Church could not hinder its flourishing, as members of the Church of Christ today, we are truly unstoppable.
As last day believers, we are in the golden era of the Church, which is our era of dominion. In God’s end-time agenda, this is the time when ‘the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.’ (Isaiah 2:2).
Therefore we are in a prophetic season of supernatural progress and divine advancement.
At this time, every believer is destined to be the head and not the tail, above only and never beneath.
However while it is a time of glory for the Church, it is also a time of gross darkness in the world. This means there will be agents of darkness who will want to resist the advancement of God’s children. Therefore do not be surprised to find that your breaking forth to greater levels may attract oppositions at some points. But since we know all power belongs to God and all victories come from Him, we need not fret over any resistance. Rather our focus should be on how to engage God to fight for us. One way we bring God’s Presence into our battles is through praise. When God is with you, no one can ever prevail against you. .
Jeremiah 1:19 says ‘And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the Lord, to deliver thee.’
Let us continually praise God at all times because with Him on our side this year, nothing and no one can hinder us because it is certainly our breaking forth season and our time to arise and shine!

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You because I know You are in perfect control of my life. Surely, whatever I may face today, You are able to fight for me and give me the total victory in Jesus Name.

Romans 12:2 [TPT] ‘Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.’’

During World War I, a young scientist named Marvin Pipkin served in United States Army. He was very diligent about his work and came up with gas mask innovations that proved very useful as protection against chemical weapons. His innovative improvements were used through the twentieth century.
After the war, in 1919, he came to work at General Electric company. Soon he was assigned the task of creating frosted lightbulbs that would not be harsh to the eyes. Unbeknownst to Pipkin, this assignment was considered impossible because several scientists had tried numerous techniques to produce it but all to no avail.
Unaware his assignment was only a prank by his superiors, Pipkin immediately went to work in his usual diligent manner.. As he fussed around with frosting experiments, he shocked his employers by succeeding to create durable frosted light bulbs. Though it was a task which the experts had said was impossible, because Marvin didn’t know it could not be done he went ahead and did it.
His patents were developed into General Electric’s popular Soft-White bulb series and today his name remains etched in history for achieving this amazing feat.

The greatest limitation a man can have is the one that exists in his mind. When there’s no limiting thought there will be room to achieve impossibilities.
The barriers that stop people from rising to desired heights of success are often the invisible walls built in the mind. .
We win or lose in life based on what dominates our mind. Truly, as a man thinks in his heart so is he.
Where the mind goes, the man follows.
Therefore to truly break forth to great possibilities this year, we need to review the kind of thoughts we are thinking. You need to avoid old limiting thoughts because they will only keep you on the same spot.
When Romans 12:2 tells us to renew our minds with God’s Word it simply means upgrading our minds to God’s higher way of thinking.
This year, God is calling you to be a trail blazer, a trendsetter, a difference maker and a barrier breaker. For that to happen you need to meditate regularly on His Word, so as to operate from a higher perspective.
Today let us receive the grace to change our old mindset: to stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around us, and become inwardly transformed by God’s Word through the Holy Spirit.(Romans 12:2 – TPT]
As we do so , surely we will break forth to new levels of success and greater heights of accomplishments this year.

Philippians 4:6 [NIV] ‘Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.’

Tammy Hotsenpiller is author of the book ‘Fasting for Miracles’. Tammy is someone who has seen several miraculous answers to prayers in her own life.
The first miracle Tammy experienced was when her son was born premature. His lung collapsed and the diagnosis was grim. Doctors said he might not even make it through the night and if he did, he might be in a vegetative state. Tammy went into prayer mode and exercised her faith. She called out to God, “I believe in You, and I need a miracle.”
As she persevered in prayers, the situation miraculously changed. Her son not only made it through the night, his condition rapidly improved, contrary to the doctors’ predictions. Through God’s divine intervention her son became completely healed.
Today, Tammy is passionate about teaching on the power of prayer. In the church she co-pastors with her husband, they have a large wall of stones in the facility which is their prayer wall. It is filled with thousands of prayer requests wedged between the stones and they have recorded many amazing miraculous answers and speedy divine interventions.

As New Testament believers, God has given us access to tremendous power through prayer.
Most of the troubles we face in life emanates from the spiritual realm. Until you address the spiritual cause you can’t get to the cure. If you only deal with the fruits and bypass the root, you can’t get to the solution.
Life only becomes complicated if you ignore the keys that make it work. Prayer is a master key that can handle any issue of life. Prayer is earthly permission for Heavenly interference in our affairs. It is the means of contacting the spiritual realm for our earthly victory.
Our breaking forth to glorious dimensions this year will be the result of deliberately assuming spiritual responsibility on the altar of prayer. Through prayer you can fight your way into the fulfillment of prophecies.
As a child of God you can never be stranded.
Regardless of what you may be going through, Jesus Christ has already dealt with it at the Cross.
What you need to do is to enforce the victory He has won by engaging the power in His Blood in the place of prayer..
Therefore today, instead of worrying, fretting or being anxious over any issue, rejoice because your victory is guaranteed by the Blood of Jesus. Rather by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let us present our requests to God, knowing He will always answer us. (Philippians 4:6).

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for the Blood of Jesus that guarantees my constant victory in every battle. By Your grace no force can hinder my breakthroughs or breaking forth to higher realms this year in Jesus Name.

Proverbs 22:29 ‘Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.’

It is interesting that the most prestigious universities in the world today were originally established as Christian institutions. Many of these schools were started centuries ago as Bible-proclaiming schools.
Harvard was named for a Christian minister, John Harvard. Yale was started by a group of ten Christian ministers led by the Reverend James Pierpont. Princeton was founded by revivalists of the great awakening as a place to train Gospel ministers.
Oxford which is the oldest university in the English-speaking world has strong Christian foundation.
Likewise, Cambridge University was established by Christian leaders and Saint Andrews, Scotland’s oldest university, was founded principally for the teaching and study of theology.
Also many of the best known colleges were founded by Bible-believing Christians. The aim and commitment of these Christian founders set the pace for the pursuit of excellence which has become hallmark of these institutions. Unfortunately today, many of these schools have abandoned their Christian worldview to embrace naturalistic philosophy, yet the fact remains that they are products of visionary Christians. The foundation of excellence laid by these Christian founders set the pace that has continued to distinguish these universities in the world and cause them to be highly sought after.

As Christians, excellence should be our hallmark because we serve the excellent God.
Isaiah 28:29 says that God is excellent in working.
Also Isaiah 12:5 says ‘Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.’
As children of God we have a responsibility to strive for excellence in all we do. We live in a world that responds to excellence. An excellent spirit will cause you to operate with diligence and professionalism which will attract attention and distinguish you. Therefore to break forth to extraordinary accomplishments this year we need an excellent spirit.
To enjoy uncommon breakthroughs we have to be intentional in our approach. While we handle spiritual barriers through prayers, we have to physically position ourselves for best opportunities through a display of excellence.
To stand out and get ahead you need to study, grow, and sharpen your skill set and refuse to have a mediocre attitude toward life in general.
The people in the Bible who affected their world were those who had the spirit of excellence.
Though Daniel was in captivity, he refused to live in mediocrity. He distinguished himself with an excellent spirit which caused him to be elevated in Babylon.
As Christians, when we live excellent lives it brings glory and honor to God.
Today, let us receive the grace for such display of excellence in our lives that the world will be attracted to the God we serve.

Psalm 127:1-3 ‘Except The Lord builds the house they labour in vain that build it. And except the Lord watches over the city, the watchmen watch but in vain.’.’

Ray Jenkins grew up in poverty in the projects of Detroit. He dropped out of school after the 8th grade and later joined the Navy where he worked as a cook. When he returned home from military service, Ray bought an old potato chip factory and went into business. He was determined to succeed and relied on his own efforts to see the business progress.
He put in all his time and energy into it, but the harder he worked, the worse things got financially. Eventually when his business went bankrupt, Ray felt devastated and resorted to drinking alcohol. One day, after drinking heavily, he started vomiting blood. When paramedics arrived they found he had lost 60 percent of his blood and was about to die. But his wife who was a God-fearing Christian prayed fervently for a miracle. On the way to the hospital, Ray died and his spirit left his body and he found himself heading to hell. As he became repentant of his sins, miraculously he felt his spirit return back into his body.
At the hospital he received several blood transfusions and eventually survived against all odds. After being discharged Ray made a definite decision to give God first place in his life and his affairs. Soon he began to see the tangible hand of God as he received new business ideas and sales soared to over 25 million bags of potato chips in one year.
Today, Ray Jenkin’s successful snack food company has continued to grow rapidly. In honor of God who turned his life and business around, on the back of each bag of potato chips, Ray prints his story, Scriptures and Gospel messages.

The biggest plus factor anyone can have in life is the God factor. It is the hand of God that elevates a man, not just his hard work.
Indeed except the Lord builds the house every man’s labour is in vain. It is only when we put God first that whatever we are building stands.
It is the blessing of the Lord, not ‘the sweat or struggles of man’ that makes rich. When we commit ourselves to diligently seek God’s Word and serve the interests of His Kingdom, then God commits Himself to opening up Heaven’s treasure to us. These includes prosperity, divine health, longevity, preservation of our children and families etc
In our journey to break forth to greater dimensions this year, we need God to take us further than our own strength or smartness could ever take us.
To achieve extraordinary results, we need divine input in our endeavors.
Only God knows the end from the beginning, and as we follow Him, He will guide us to our green pastures. With His help we will know the right path to take at every crossroad.
Though, you may have stepped out in obscurity this year, as you keep walking by faith in God’s Word, you will soon end up as a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden. As you put God first, you can never be last and as you stand on His Word you can never fail.

Psalms 112:1-3 says ‘Blessed is the man that fears the Lord and delight greatly in God’s commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: his generation shall be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness shall endureth forever.’

Johann Blumhardt was born in 1805 to a poor and obscure family in Stuttgard, Germany. Early in his youth, it was revealed to him that his life would be used by God. So while growing up he had fear and reverence of God. At the age of 14 he passed the exam to study theology though a scholarship. There, he continued to deepen his relationship with God.
Few years after graduation, he took up a pastoral assignment in the small town of Möttlingen, in southern Germany.
As he fervently sought God, miracles and healings began to occur in his parish. Soon a revival broke out.
When his work at the parish was resisted by some church leaders and the government, Blumhardt left and started his own ministry in another town. Here, God’s power was again mightily displayed.
His ministry in healing and deliverance made the way for many to follow. Today, Johann Blumhardt is respected as a forerunner of the Divine Healing Movement in Germany.

Those used by God to spark revival in history are often men and women of extraordinary seriousness of purpose who fervently sought God until miracles erupted in their ministries.
Likewise for us to experience extraordinary results that will distinguish us in our generation, we need to fervently seek God.
There are spiritual barriers that keep men in obscurity, no matter how hard they work. To break forth supernaturally, requires divine connection to the power of God. This will happen when we make the choice to abide in the fear of God and to follow His Word. The fear of God positions us for exploits, progress and prosperity.
Psalms 112:1-3 says ‘Blessed is the man that fears the Lord and delight greatly in God’s commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: his generation shall be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness shall endureth forever.’

There is a place for hard work and smartness in our endeavors, but to see supernatural results, we certainly need God’s power. Every manifestation of glory is usually a product of deep spiritual preparation.
Let us today receive the grace to seek God with all our hearts so that by the mighty manifestations of His power we will break forth to higher dimensions of exploits.

2 Peter 1:3-4 ‘According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:’

His family was poor and at the age of 16 William left home to seek his fortune. The only thing he knew was how to make soap and candles. At 19 years old, he decided to start a business in that line, but it failed within a year and he had to close it down.
When William read in Genesis 28: 20-21, how Jacob made a vow to the LORD to faithfully pay tithe of his possessions; he made a similar vow to give God first place in his life, and give a tithe of his profits.
While William was in New York City in 1804, he worked as an apprentice in a soap-boiler. The first dollar he earned, he gave 10 percent to God.
At the close of his apprenticeship in 1806 William established a starch, soap and candle business in Manhattan, on Dutch Street.
The more he gave to the Lord, the more he prospered. William was also active in Church and served as a Deacon and donated large sums to Christian causes. William Colgate’s faithfulness in serving God and sowing into His Kingdom resulted in the establishment of his company globally. Today, the Colgate-Palmolive company dominates in the world’s cosmetic industry and is a major player in the global financial market.

Every child of God is a candidate for a glorious destiny because God has called us unto glory and virtue. However, it takes the key of knowledge of God’s Word to gain access to our divine inheritance. [2 Peter 1:3-4]
There are necessary steps to be followed before we can break forth to glorious new realms.
One of these steps is an understanding of our Kingdom financial responsibility.
Despite past setback and failures, when a man engages in Kingdom financial commitment, he will experience open Heavens in his endeavors.
Through the covenant of investing into God’s kingdom, we stay connected to a supply line that never runs dry and enjoy supernatural breakthroughs in life.
When we bring all the tithes into God’s store house, He blesses us overwhelmingly and stops the devourer from attacking our health, families, businesses, career etc [Malachi 3:10].
Circumstances in the world may change, and global economy may shake, but Heaven’s economy never fails. Indeed as long as we remain connected to God, we will prosper even in the desert. We will never see dryness because we are connected to the fountain of Living waters.
Today, let us determine to experience supernatural breakthroughs by sincerely serving God with our lives and also sowing into His kingdom. As we do, the Lord will cause us to break forth on every side and open up to us the hidden riches of secret places.

Psalms 75:6-7 “For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.”

At 30 years of age, Billy Graham seriously considered leaving the revival circuit. He felt greatly discouraged after having what he considered to be some failed revival meetings.
But before taking a final decision, Billy went on a spiritual retreat at Forest Home in the San Bernardino Mountains for a time of prayer and seeking God’s direction.
While there, he received the divine leading to continue preaching.
Shortly after this spiritual retreat, he was contacted by some Christian businessmen in Los Angeles to hold a three-week revival in the sprawling metropolis.
As the crusade started, somehow it came to the notice of Newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst.
This very influential media mogul was not known to have any religious affiliations or interest in Christianity. But inexplicably, he decided to blow up news about Billy Graham’s crusade. He put out two words to all his newspaper editors in a famous telegram that instructed: “Puff Graham.”
This instruction from Randolph Hearst made Billy Graham to be put on the front page of newspapers across the country overnight.
Thereafter, the crusade became greatly advertised and resulted in such massive attendance that it was extended from 3 weeks to 8 weeks. Billy Graham started the crusade virtually unknown, but by the time it ended he had become a household name. Interestingly, Billy Graham and Randolph Hearst never met each other.

When God gets ready to promote you, He can suddenly break protocols to accelerate you to your next level.
God can use people you don’t know and circumstances you may not understand to catapult you from obscurity to notoriety.
There is really nothing too difficult for God to do in our lives. This is why we need to constantly seek His divine guidance and trust in Him with all our heart
As we seek God’s counsel through consistent study of the Word, prayers and fellowship with the Spirit, it is only a matter of time before we experience overflow of His blessings.
God can suddenly promote you to positions you never could have attained by yourself. Inexplicably and unfathomably, God will send help from least expected quarters and lift you to unexpected heights .
Today, you may not know the right people or have enough money or have the right qualifications, but the important thing is that you know God.
This is what positions you for exploits.
Therefore in this new month let us get ready for divine promotions that will cause us to break forth to higher dimensions.
Sudden breakthroughs, new opportunities and unmerited favor will begin to chase after us.
Because promotion comes from God alone, certainly our breaking forth this year will happen divinely through inexplicable miracles, signs and wonders.

Isaiah 54:2-3 ‘Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; for thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left;’

In 2017, Zach Williams appeared to be an overnight success to many. He seemingly burst out of nowhere to win a Grammy Award for his first Christian rock album.
Yet in reality, before Zach Williams’ sudden emergence to the limelight, he had spent about two decades toiling in obscurity in his musical career. He had suffered years of frustration, poverty and pain.
Zach grew up in a Christian home, where his father was a worship leader in the Church and his mom was in the worship team. But at age 15, he rebelled against his Christian upbringing, started experimenting with drugs and alcohol and set out to become a rock star. But he failed woefully in his musical career until he ended up with a miserable life. One day while on a music tour, Zach heard the song ‘Redeemed’ on the radio. He was so touched by the presence of God that he cancelled his next show, cancelled his whole tour and quit the band. He headed back home where he fell on his hands and knees in his bedroom floor and surrendered all to Christ.
As God took over his life, Zach began to experience real success. His first album ‘Chain Breaker’ was a resounding success as it soared to No. 1 on the Christian music charts and won a Grammy Award. His next album “Old Church Choir” in 2017, also reached the top of the Christian music charts. Williams made music history by having two consecutive No. 1 hits that stayed on top of the charts for 35 weeks. Since then he has continued to make more musical hits and win many awards.

Our breakthrough does not lie in our own strength, because by strength shall no man prevail (1 Samuel 2:9). Our breakthrough lies in our connection to the help of God, because through Christ we can do all things.
It is God’s plans to take us to greater levels of life, but we have to first get into agreement with Him.
When we make the decision to become wholly committed to God, then we will begin to experience the downpour of His favour.
In Isaiah 54:1-4, God tells us to lengthen our cords, which means to lengthen our reach and prepare for enlargement. As we come in alignment with His will, suddenly things will turn around and we will begin to bloom, to blossom, to flourish, grow and experience new opportunities.
As we come into this new month of February, through a fresh commitment to God, certainly every drought is coming to an end. If perhaps you have faced stagnation or lack of growth in any area, this is your time to break forth to glorious new dimensions.
Though you may have been in obscurity it is time to experience divine expansion. With God’s help, nothing you imagine for your life this year will be impossible. Certainly, it is our time to break forth out of mediocrity to global visibility and emerge as winners in our fields of endeavors..

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for bringing me into the new month of February today. By Your grace it is my month to go forward until I break forth and break through to glorious new dimensions in Jesus Name.

Psalm 118:17 ‘I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.’

Reverend Walter L. Shaw Jr. is a Gospel Radio Legend in the United States. He is an ordained minister of the Gospel, who uses his popular radio shows, on mainstream media, to point people to the truth.
For over forty nine years, he has fascinated millions of radio listeners with his unique blend of Christian faith, motivational and inspirational programs. His devotion to his faith is so strong that he refused to stop counseling his listeners to look to Jesus, even when it meant having his radio show removed from a Chicago radio station.
Some years ago, his faith became sorely tested when he was told by his doctors that he had kidney cancer and had a 70 percent chance of dying from the disease. Reverend Walter refused to receive the negative medical verdict and told the medical specialist “My God is going to save me. He’s going to use your knowledge of this disease, your abilities, your medical technology to save my life.”
Faithfully God showed up for him and contrary to the doctors’ verdict, he survived the surgery and afterwards was pronounced “cancer-free”. As he resumed his radio shows, he took a decision to serve God more with his life, and now also serves as an associate minister at first AME Church of Los Angeles.

It is certainly God’s plan for us to live and not die, so we can declare His works in the land of the living. It doesn’t matter how bleak any situation, God’s Word will always prevail.
The Word of God is the real influencer and game changer in any trial or temptation. Through faith in God’s Word, you can overcome every obstacle, you can climb over every mountain, and you can get out of every valley.
As we step out to do exploits this year, no doubt the enemy will attempt to limit our progress, but through the power in the Blood of Jesus, nothing can hinder our forward movement.
Especially, because we have spent time in fasting and praying to commit this year into God’s hands, we have become truly unstoppable.
Anyone or any force that tries to resist our breaking forth will fall for our sakes. Surely every tongue that shall rise against us in judgment shall be condemned. [Isaiah 54:17].
Therefore, let us make bold strides with confidence knowing that we have divine backing.
As we come to this last day of January, let us praise God for surrounding us with His Presence and His blessings. This is certainly our year to break forth on every side and our story this year, shall only be from glory to greater levels of glory.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for my victory through the Blood of Jesus. Truly, by the power in the Blood, I shall live and not die, to declare the works of the Lord in the land of the living in Jesus Name
