Veronica Winston is wife of Dr. Bill Winston who is a respected televangelist, preacher and author.
At the beginning of their ministry in 1988, things were tough financially because Bill Winston had to resign from his job to attend a Seminary..
Veronica then decided to look for a job but couldn’t find any.
She began meditating on the Scriptures that supported her having a job and began exercising her faith.
If anyone asked her if she had a job, she replied in the affirmative. She went on to write down the exact kind of job she needed.
To further engage her faith she sowed sacrificial seeds towards getting a job.
Once she did that, about three days later, an employment agent called her and told her a job was available for her in a new company that just relocated to their neighborhood.
The job fitted the framework of Veronica’s prayer request. It was only 10 minutes from her house, and offered her even more than the salary that she had expected along with a new car.
Veronica and her husband marvelled at how God had moved miraculously to fulfill her demands of faith.

Success is not accidental. It is the result of deliberately assuming spiritual responsibility.
Whatever you desire from God is possible, as long as you can have the faith to believe for it.
Today, you may be wondering how you can ever overcome the various challenges around you and begin to truly break forth on every side and enjoy a new level of success.
But then.never forget that all things are possible to him that believes.
If you stay in faith and refuse to waver, it is only a matter of time before you see the manifestation of your desire.
The way to build up strong faith is to diligently study God’s Word in the area of your challenge.
As you immerse yourself in Scriptures, faith will begin to take root in your heart and grow, until it eventually births your miracle.
The truth is that nothing happens outwardly, until you begin to move things in the realm of the spirit.
Anytime you pray in faith, God will set your miracle in motion. As you keep standing on God’s promises, eventually your faith shall be rewarded!
Hebrew 10:35-36(NIV) says ‘So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.”

As you get in agreement with God’s Word, your faith can supersede any natural law and reverse any negative verdict.
We serve the prayer-answering God and as we call upon Him today in faith, surely He will send miracles of breakthroughs, healings, deliverance and surpass our every expectations.

PRAYER
Father, thank You for the grace to stand in faith and engage Your Word, until I see my desired miracle of breakthroughs and breaking forth to glorious new realms in Jesus’ Name.

The story of Spencer January was recently featured in Guidepost magazine. He served in the American Army’s 35th Infantry, during World War II. Before leaving home, the pastor of their Church in Dallas, Texas had prayed Psalm 91 over each deploying soldier from their town.
In 1945 Spencer’s division was ordered to take the town of Ossenburg in Germany where there was an enemy ammunition factor.. His group fought for hours to get through the thick jungle-like terrain when suddenly they came to an open space with a large stone house. With German machine guns blasting away, it was sure death to cross the opening, but it was their only avenue since every other passage into town was secured by the Germans. Suddenly Spencer began remembering an elderly prayerful woman, Mrs. Tanersly—from his Church back home. As he got ready to run right though the barrage of open fire, perhaps to certain death, he found himself on his knees, praying passionately for divine help.
As his group began to advance, suddenly a huge white cloud materialized from a totally clear sky and shrouded the clearing, so that there was no way for the Germans to see where to fire. Instantly Spencer and his fellow soldiers took off and ran across the clearing and into the thicket. No one had to tell Spencer that what he had just experienced was a miracle of God.
Days later, Spencer received a letter from his mother that recounted how on a particular date and time Mrs. Tanersly had been divinely prompted to pray for a divine covering over him. Spencer realized that Mrs. Tanersly’s prayers tallied with the time his group was getting ready to dash across the danger zone of the German ambush.
This experience so impacted Spencer that he dedicated his morning hours for the next sixty years to pray for friends and relatives and he eventually served as a minister of the Gospel.

If you are facing a tough situation, prayer must be your first option, not your last resort.
In Psalm 118:5 David testified of how prayer got him out of a tight spot, he said, “I called on the Lord in distress; The Lord answered me and set me in a broad place” (NKJV).
Through prayer, we engage God’s power to confound our enemies and bring a forceful turnaround of situations. Prayer rearranges things in the spirit and delivers miracles to us.
God is our solid rock, our hope from ages past, He is our refuge and strength and ever present help in trouble. Those who know the secret of calling upon God will always stand victorious over life’s challenges.
As saints of God, we are called not only to pray for ourselves but for others also. As intercessors, we are facilitators of divine intervention.
However, our degree of intimacy with God, determines the degree of His response to us. To constantly receive miraculous answers to prayers, we must accept the spiritual responsibility of building a strong relationship with God through study of the Word, prayers and worship.
Miracles are not magic but God’s response to those who trust and fear Him. Therefore, as you sincerely call upon Him today, certainly God deliver you from every tight spot, He will enable you to break forth to higher grounds, set your feet upon the solid rock and cause you to ride upon your high places.

PRAYER: Lord, please grant me the grace to seek to know You more intimately so that I can always obtain help in the time of need. I know that even right now You are set to exceed my expectations in Jesus Name.

Lighthouses are built for the purpose of guiding ships safety to their harbor. However the Cape St. George lighthouse in Australia is historically known for wrecking ships rather than saving them. In the mid-19th century, the cliffs around Jervis Bay in Australia were notoriously dangerous, and so it was decided that a lighthouse was needed for the safe navigation of ships. But the Architect of the new lighthouse chose not to build at the government authorized site. Rather he built it 5 miles away at a location closer to where he could get his building materials. After the construction of the Cape St. George lighthouse, it to be an inefficient guide that directed ships towards the very rocks they were trying to avoid.

For the next four decades, this wrongly sited lighthouse, was responsible for about 25 shipwrecks. The controversy and complaints that trailed the lighthouse led to its replacement in 1899 by another light house built in a much more suitable location.
But even after being decommissioned, the Cape St. George lighthouse continued to cause navigational problems especially on moonlit nights when the golden sandstone tower glowed in the dark, creating confusion for ships. To prevent any further disaster, the cape St. George Tower was gradually destroyed by the Royal Australian Navy as they used it for target practice until it was reduced to rubble.
Today the ruins are listed on the Commonwealth Heritage list.

The lighthouse on Cape St. George was meant to guide ships but ended up destroying them. To safely navigate through the treacherous waters of life, we need the right guidance.
Today the world offers a lot of guidance and directions that are meant to lead to success. But following the broad ways of the world has led to the wrecking of many destinies. The Bible warns of the ways that seems right, but only ends in destruction. To avoid life’s pitfalls we need the genuine counsel of the Word of God and the Holy Spirit.
Anything or anyone that offers any counsel contrary to God’s Word or His Spirit will only lead to disaster and destruction. There is a glorious plan God has mapped out for you this year, but you need guidance to attain that greatness. It doesn’t matter where you may have started, Heaven’s agenda is for your path to keep shinning brighter and brighter.
However, accomplishing unprecedented breakthroughs this year will not be by might, nor by power but by the help of the Spirit of God. As we fellowship with Him daily, He will show us the right path to follow at every crossroad. What He showed Joseph took him from the prison to the palace overnight.
Likewise as we listen to the Holy Spirit, He will show us what to do to ascend to the throne that God has in store for us.
He will guide us to excel exceedingly, blaze new trails, and break forth to amazing realms of exploits

PRAYER: Lord, Please by Your Spirit, guide me on this journey of destiny. Despite any challenge on my path, I know by the help of Your Spirit, things will shift in my favour and soon I shall see miraculous turnarounds in Jesus’ Name.

Jeff Struecker was the real-life hero behind the 2001 Oscar-winning movie: Black Hawk Down. Jeff was among elite American troops sent to Somali capital of Mogadishu in October 1993, to capture the notorious warlord Farrah Aidid for his many atrocities.

What was supposed to be a routine operation turned out to be one of the most chaotic events in the history of the American military. ln Mogadishu, the American soldiers faced unprecedentedly fierce battles from fighters of Farrah Aidid.
Staff Sergeant Jeff Struecker was caught in the middle of the mayhem. Struecker had to go back seven times into the heat of the battle to rescue wounded American soldiers. In what seemed like a suicide mission, he led his team through the midst of thousands of armed Somalis rebels.

They had to drive 3 Humvees through streets surrounded by Mohammed Farrah Aidid’s men. Though shot at from different directions, miraculously most of the men with Jeff Struecker escaped and made it back to base. Throughout the ordeal, Struecker who is a devoted Christian prayed fervently to God and received amazing miracles of divine deliverance and protection.
His faith in God made Struecker to survive, not only in Mogadishu, but also through other dangerous military operations .The desire to lead fellow soldiers to Christ inspired him to eventually become an army chaplain. Following his retirement from the military, he became a pastor and international speaker who today shares his amazing story around the world.

Truly God is our ever present help in the time of trouble. Though we may sometimes walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil when God is with us. The thunder may roll and the sea may roar, but as long as we walk in faith, we will never be overcome.
A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but evil shall never come near you when the Lord is your refuge, (Psalms 91:7).
We serve the God of excessive power, excessive grace, and excessive might. There is no problem, trouble, situation or circumstance that God cannot handle for us. Therefore, if today you are facing what seems to be a tough battle in your health, finances or relationships; do not panic. God will surely give you the victory!
With your faith in God’s Word, no enemy can be too strong for you. As they come against you one way, they will surely scatter in seven ways away from you. In God, we have an immovable rock that we can always run to in times of trouble. Certainly, by His grace, nothing can hinder our continual victory this year. It is indeed our season to soar and break forth to unprecedented heights of glory.

PRAYER: Lord I thank You for giving me overwhelming victory over every tough battle I may face today. I give You praise for causing me to experience a sudden positive shift in my circumstances in Jesus Name.

Nicole Mullen is one of the contemporary Christian music’s brightest stars. She is a songwriter, and a Gospel artiste who has earned numerous music accolades over the years. In 2018, she was in the News as she shared the miraculous healing of her mother.

Doctors had given a grim medical report concerning her mother. They suspected she had cancer and had ordered immediate surgery. As the news spread, family and friends came together to stand in the gap. They prayed, fasted, and did what they knew to do.

Also, through her social media platforms Nicole publicly solicited prayers for her mother and received massive response as many people around the world prayed. Yet in the midst of this anxious situation, Nicole’s mum, an ordained minister of the Gospel, remained steadfast in faith.

She refused to believe any negative medical report and chose rather to ultimately trust the report of the Lord! After all the medical tests, the doctors were amazed to find that every trace of cancer had suddenly disappeared from Nicole’s mum.
They found that she was alright and there was no longer any need to operate. Nicole Mullen knew that what had happened was a miraculous answer to prayer and she publicly shared the testimony in many Christian News outlets!

Despite the initial report, Nicole’s mum stood in faith and claimed the healing that belonged to her through the Blood of Jesus.
Indeed as children of God, our case is different. By the power in the Blood of Jesus we are separated from the evil that is in the world. Christ Himself became a curse for us, that we might experience a blessed life.
He has paid the ultimate price for our freedom, that is why concerning us, affliction cannot arise a second time. Spiritually we are partakers of the Blood line of Jesus Christ. Therefore whatever cannot afflict the Blood line of Jesus has no access to us. As a child of God, your body is the temple of The Holy Ghost.

And the Word of God says whatsoever defiles the Temple of God shall be destroyed. Therefore any sickness attempting to attack your body automatically comes under divine destruction. Because the Holy Ghost carries fire, your body is a temple of fire. The more you pray, the more you are charged and electrified to consume every chaff of sickness and disease. Certainly , today, every thing which our Heavenly Father has not planted in us must be uprooted. Every hindrance to our breaking forth this year is totally terminated. As we remain fervent in Spirit and steadfast in faith, surely our victory over every challenge is permanently secured in Jesus Name.

PRAYER: Father I thank You for making me to be a partaker of Your divine bloodline. Indeed through Christ I am an overcomer in every conflict. Surely I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me in Jesus Name.

Raymond Theodore Richey was a teenager in 1911, when he was miraculously healed of blindness and Tuberculosis. Due to his healing, he came under intense conviction to become a minister of the Gospel, but he didn’t know how to start.
He then committed himself to diligent study of God’s Word and prayers. As he studied and grew in faith, doors began to open up for him into ministry. One day while visiting his brother’s house he prayed for a woman with rheumatism. She was instantly healed. News of this healing miracle traveled far and wide. Soon Richey began to get calls to pray for the sick. When World War I broke out he felt led to start evangelizing and organizing fervent prayers for army troops. As his ministry expanded Richey began to travel internationally and eventually ended up as an important figure in the history of the Pentecostal-charismatic renewal movement.
By the time of his death on April 22, 1968, it is believed that more than one million people had responded to his calls for salvation or healing over the lifetime of his ministry.

Raymond Theodore Richey had not known how to start out in ministry, but through being obedient to God’s Word, he followed a spiritual road map, that led him to a successful international ministry.
After Moses’ death, Joshua began preparing to lead the Israelites to where they had never walked before, into a land unknown to them. Joshua didn’t know what lay ahead, but God told him to carefully follow His Word, because it would be the key to making his way prosperous and having good success.
At every juncture of our life’s journey we often face the fears of the unknown. Though we may not know what lies ahead or what next step to take, diligently studying and obeying God’s Word, will be the roadmap to our glorious destination. You may start small but as you persist in faith, your later end shall surely be great. Zechariah 4:10 tells us not to despise the days of small beginnings. Don’t look at yourself and think you lack the capability to accomplish the great things you sense God is calling you to. When David was about to fight Goliath, all he had was a slingshot and five smooth stones. It looked insignificant and ordinary, but through God’s divine help, David’s little stone became a mighty force that killed Goliath. Wherever you may be today, as you abide obedient to God’s Word and continue to move forward by faith, God will multiply your efforts. He will cause you to break forth to unprecedented realms and do exceedingly abundantly above what you could ever ask, think or imagine.

PRAYER: Lord please help me to base my life upon the solid foundation of Your Word and prayer. I thank You for granting me the faith and boldness to accomplish the greatness You have ordained for me in Jesus’ Name.

One day, a young businessman named Stanley Tam felt inspired to do something that was almost unheard of. He walked into the office of a lawyer and asked him to draw up papers transferring fifty-one percent of his company’s stock to the Lord Jesus Christ.
The lawyer thought that the young businessman had lost his mind! But Stanley Tam knew exactly what he was doing. As a fervent Christian, he had decided to set his affections on things above in a very practical way.
Stanley had learned by experience that as he “sought first the kingdom of God,” the Lord fulfilled His promise to provide his needs. Though he was already tithing his income, Stanley now wanted fifty-one percent of his company’s profits to go into the spreading of the Gospel.
At Stanley’s insistence, the lawyer drew up papers that legally recognized God as the primary shareholder of his company. Soon Stanley discovered that God could operate the business better than he could! The business that was struggling before then, now steadily prospered.
In 1955, Stanley wanted to do even more for the Kingdom of God. So he decided to turn over 100% of the profits to the Lord Jesus and then live on a salary as an “employee of God.” As a result of his giving, God blessed Stanley Tam exceedingly and abundantly.
Through him, millions of dollars went directly to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ in seventy-five nations across the globe. Stanley Tam lived to be 108, before his death in 2023, he remained grateful that he set his affections on things above and invested his resources towards the spread of the Gospel.

Our depth of commitment in serving God will determine our height of success in life. 2 Chronicles 26, tells the story of King Uzziah who started reigning when he was only 16 years old. There were so many odds against him, but as long as he sought the Lord, God prospered him.
And so this teenage king went forth and had victory in battles and expanded greatly. To experience breakthroughs and breaking forth on every side, we must make a definite choice to serve God and be dedicated to His cause. Dedication is the mystery behind distinction.
How dedicated you are in serving God, determines how distinguished you will ever become in life. In Genesis 28:20–22, when Jacob covenanted to serve God with his life and income, God greatly blessed and distinguished him in his generation.
Certainly, God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. In these last days, now is the time to focus more on pleasing God and pressing forward in our high calling of God in Christ Jesus [Philippians 3:13].
As we fervently pursue God and the promotion of His Kingdom, certainly He will open the Heaven over us and pour out to us overflowing blessings beyond our greatest imaginations.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to maintain a lifestyle of tireless pursuit of advancing your kingdom. Certainly as I seek you first, every other thing shall be added unto me in Jesus’ Name.

Before the invention of clocks and modern time-keeping devices, people in ancient times had to rely on the natural world around them to keep track of the time. One of those early ways of measuring time was the use of the water clock. The water clock dates back to the 16th century B.C. in Babylon and was used by the Greeks.

It is one of the earliest forms of timekeeping devices that used a steady flow of water to track time. With this device, a large bowl would be filled with water and allowed to slowly drain from a spout at the bottom. The inside of the bowl was marked with time intervals.

This enabled people to determine how much time had passed by the water level in the bowl. Water clocks were largely used to determine the hours especially at night times and on cloudy days. As the water trickled away in the water clock, it represented how time was flowing away never to be recaptured again.

To make most of our life on earth, we must be very conscious of our usage of time. Each day, God entrusts us with 24 hours to use as wise stewards. Every morning we are credited with 86,400 seconds to invest to good purpose. Each day it opens a new account and if we fail to use the day’s deposits well, life may end in regret. We must use our time on earth judiciously, constantly focusing on what God has called us to do.

Psalm 90:12-17 says ‘So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
In these last days, it has become crucial that we use the little time that is left wisely. Eternity is counting. You may delay, but time won’t. We must therefore ensure that the things we do in these last days have eternal value. What we do now for the Kingdom of God is what will matter most in eternity.

Top on the priority of our time investment is our relationship with God and the preaching of the Gospel. In these end-times, we must be deliberate in redeeming time because the enemy has sent out many weapons of mass distraction to squander people’s time. Ephesians 5:16 says “redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”

One certain way to redeem time is to be thankful. David said in Psalm 34:1 ‘I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.’ When we bless The Lord at all times, we are placing our life and times in His hand. Certainly when God is in control, He causes everything to work together for our good.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to begin to make good use of my time. Let Your praise and obedience to Your instructions be always top priority for me in Jesus’ Name.

Over five hundred years ago, William Tyndale changed how we view the Bible. During his lifetime, unauthorized translation of the Bible into English was banned by the Roman catholic church in 1408. It became illegal for anyone to read the Bible without license from a bishop. The penalty for defaulters was death.

But William Tyndale decided to defy the ban. He translated the Bible from Hebrew and Greek into English, making the Bible accessible to the common people. In 1535 he was arrested and sentenced to die a heretic’s death: His alleged crimes were disagreements with the Catholic Church’s teachings and his English-Bible translations.

Just before he died, on October 6, 1536 he cried out his last words, asking God to “open the eyes” of the then king, Henry VIII, to allow people in England to have access to their own Bibles. His prayer was answered within a year. And the bible became accessible to the common man. 90% of the King James Version of the Bible and 75% of the Revised Standard Version are from the translation of the Bible into English made by William Tyndale.

Tyndale could have lived a ‘normal’ life without upsetting the authorities, yet knowing the risk to his life he stood up for the truth and allowed his light to shine in the darkness. Today every one has access to the English Bible because one man paid the price. We may not be required to die for what we believe but it is paramount as Christians that we be resolute in standing for our faith.

Wherever we go let us shine the light of the Gospel. There are people in darkness. Many people are confused by diverging messages in the world and they need a beacon of light in their darkness. Do not hide your light. Speak forth the truth of God’s Word to shatter the darkness in men’s hearts.

Use every possible opportunity to preach the gospel. Don’t sit on the fence, knowing the truth and yet doing nothing to reach the dying world around you with the Gospel. Life is about taking sides, it is dangerous to walk in the middle of the road.

Be radical for Jesus, Proclaim your faith boldly, let your light shine for men to see. In all that you do and say, let it be clear you represent God.
However, to live a life of such conviction, there is a need to spend time in God’s Word until you are filled and controlled by faith.

You cannot impact your world until you have first been imparted by God’s Word. It is out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks.
As our hearts are dominated by God’s Word, we will go forth and dominate our world, doing exploits for God’s Kingdom.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to shine my light brightly before men by preaching your Word in season and out of season. Today, I receive the boldness to proclaim your Word with power wherever I go in Jesus Name.

Charles Richard Hillis was the youngest American missionary candidate ever accepted by the China Inland Mission (CIM). At the age of 20, he went to serve in China. A few years later he got married and began living with his wife and two children in the inland town of Shenkiu. Soon after the Japanese army invaded China. At that crucial time, Hillis developed appendicitis, and had to be rushed to a faraway hospital on January 15, 1941.
His wife Margaret was left alone with their children. As the Japanese army approached, the residents of their town had to evacuate.
Margaret had a one-year-old son and two-month-old baby girl. She feared they might not survive as refugees. So she stayed put and stayed focused on God’s Word. She had a Scriptural wall calendar, and when she looked at it the next morning, the new day’s Scripture was Psalm 56:3—“What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.”
After all the townspeople evacuated that day, Margaret felt abandoned. The next morning the verse on the calendar was Psalm 9:10—“Thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.” The next morning she arose to distant sounds of gunfire and worried about food for her children.
The calendar verse was Genesis 50:21—“I will nourish you and your little ones.” Suddenly that morning an old woman came to their house with a pail of steaming goat’s milk, and later another stranger arrived with a basket of eggs. Throughout the day, sounds of warfare grew louder. By the next morning Margaret saw the day’s verse was Psalm 56:9—“When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back.”
Though Japanese invasion had seemed imminent, by the next morning, surprisingly all was quiet. Soon the townspeople began returning with the news that the Japanese had inexplicably withdrawn their troops and the danger had passed. Margaret realized that through the calendar , God had been speaking to her and had fulfilled His Words.

As long as we remain connected to God’s Word, though we may walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will always emerge triumphant. As we keep looking into His Word, we will never suffer defeat or shame.

Psalm 34:5 says, ‘‘They looked unto Him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.’

The more we look to Jesus, through His Word the more we will have the faith to overcome any situation. Faith in God gives us the tenacity to withstand any trial and not run away from the battle. Faith in God made David take a sling and go after Goliath, when the whole army of Israel was running away from him.
Certainly, no battle is impossible for anyone who has faith. Isaiah 59:19 says when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of God will lift up a standard against him. The standard the Spirit lifts is the Word of God. In times of trial, He quickens Scriptures to our heart that enables us to keep persevering until our victory comes.
There is deliverance power and wonder-working power in the Word. Even in situations where things may look hopeless or there seems to be no way out, always be assured that Jesus is always the way-maker and miracle worker. Today, let us keep praising and blessing Him for His faithfulness. By His grace we will certainly triumph always and be more than conquerors over every challenge.

PRAYER:
Lord, please help me to always focus on your Word and your promises over my life. I know that you are in perfect control of every situation I may face and as I continue to praise you, you will exceed all my expectations in Jesus’ Name.
