MARCH 22 : GROWING THROUGH GRACE

Gal. 6:7-8
“Do not be deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that will he also reap. For he that sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

DAILY READING – 1 Corinthians 16; 2 Kings 12-13; Micah 3

Scientists say  there are times when “bad weather” becomes necessary to stimulate growth in some seeds. This is because the hard shells that cover these seeds keep out water, causing them to lie dormant on the sand for several seasons without germinating.

Therefore there is need for the seeds to be damaged and broken by a storm so that they can absorb water that will enable them to germinate. When heavy rains come, these little seeds are carried away in a flash flood. As they rush down the slopes carried by rainwater, they are banged against sand, gravel, and rocks. Being knocked about causes nicks and scratches in these seeds. Eventually they are dumped by the rainwater in a low area  where the soil has become damp. Because of the scratches they sustained in their downhill plunge, they are now able to absorb moisture.

And through the water they absorb, they are able to begin to germinate and grow.
Likewise, spiritually we need to be broken before we can grow or make progress in life.

To be broken means to come to the place where we see ourselves as truly helpless without God.

It is God that works in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure. And we need Him at work in us in order to make progress in life. Indeed without Him we can do nothing.

Through the entrance of His Word, God works in us, empowering us to do exploits.

When God’s Word enters us we receive strength for forward movement. And we cannot absorb the water of God’s Word except we become humble and broken.

As long as we think ourselves self sufficient we remain hardened, dormant, stagnant without making any true progress in life.

This is why sometimes God allows us to pass through great storms, so as to break us and bring us to that place of utter dependence on Him.

The truth is that we are helpless without God.

In 1 Corinthians 15:10 apostle Paul says ‘but by the grace of God I am what I am’ indeed every story of greatness is rooted in God’s grace.

And we connect to grace through God’s Word. The Word of God is what provides you with the strength and stamina for the race of life. The force of faith in The Word is what moves men forward.

Therefore, you need to feed constantly on  God’s Word.

If you have been facing stagnancy and lack of growth in any area of your life, it is time to connect to the force in God’s Word today.

The power in the Word will push you forward and break every barrier resisting your progress. Indeed God’s Word is able to break and crush to powder every opposition on our way.

When we are empowered by The Word, we become truly unstoppable.
PRAYER: Lord, please help me to always diligently study Your Word, so that i can receive  the strength for supernatural progress. Thank you for destroying every form of stagnancy in my life. Indeed I am moving forward in every area of my life in Jesus Name. .

MARCH 21 : LETTING GO OF SPIRITUAL  WEIGHTS

Hebrews 12:1

Wherefore seeing we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight.…

 DAILY READING –  – 1 Corinthians 15:35-58; 2 Kings 11; Micah 2
About 2,300 years ago a young man by the name of Alexander the great, walked into the history books when he led his army on an 18,000 km march from his home in Greece all the way to India.

This march wasn’t just impressive because it was far-reaching but because it was unstoppable. Alexander didn’t just travel 18,000 km he fought his way through it and never once met an enemy that he didn’t defeat.

However when his army was advancing on Persia, at one critical point, it appeared that his troops might be defeated. The soldiers had taken so much plunder from their previous campaigns that they had become weighted down and were losing their effectiveness in combat.

Alexander commanded that all the spoils be thrown into a heap and burned. The men complained bitterly but soon saw the wisdom of the order. After they had gotten rid of the possessions weighing them down, it was as if wings had been given to them—they walked lightly again, going on to conquer more territories.

Hebrews 12:1 says ‘Wherefore seeing we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight.’

The Bible often likens us, Christians to runners. Indeed life is a race and to win in this race, we must “lay aside every weight” that would drag us down and rob us of our strength and endurance.

Weights are those things in our lives that are contrary to God’s will  for us. Weights are things that sometimes may not be explicitly sinful, but they do weigh us down spiritually and keep us from making progress in the journey of life. They keep us from walking in step with the Spirit by burdening  us with things of the flesh.

In 1 Corinthians 6:12, Paul tells the Church in Corinth that all things not explicitly called sin are lawful for them, but not all of them are helpful. He continues in 1 Corinthians 10:23 by saying not all things build up.

Indeed there are things we may allow in our lives that does not help to build us up spiritually. These may be things such as ; excessive desire for possessions, the love of money, pursuit of pleasure, or slavery to sinful passions etc. Or it could be struggling with a particular sin, habit, attitude, or fear that keeps us from running our race of faith the way we ought.

These things make it difficult for us to please God. And when we know we’re not pleasing God, we typically aren’t happy with ourselves. Weights keep us from the joy Jesus has set before us. Therefore along with repenting of sin, developing a lifestyle of throwing off weights is monumental for our spiritual growth.

As soldiers of Christ, we must rid ourselves of anything that hinders us in the conflict with our spiritual enemy. To fight the battle effectively, we must be clad only with the armor of God as found in Ephesians 6:11-17.
Yes, if we are to fight the good fight of faith and run the spiritual race with endurance, then we must break off every weight, so that we can run unhindered this race of destiny helped along by God’s grace!

PRAYER: Lord, I know you have so much in store for me, please enable me to lay aside weights and things that hinder me from making progress in my spiritual journey.  I receive grace today to live a life that pleases You always in Jesus Name. ..

MARCH 20 : KEEP PRESSING IN

Gal. 6: 9

” And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.’

DAILY READING – 1 Corinthians 15:1-34; 2 Kings 10; Micah 1

God is most often at work when He appears to be  silent.

The story of the Chinese bamboo tree, illustrates that sometimes when nothing seems to be happening on the surface, a great deal is going on behind the scenes.

The Chinese bamboo tree is one of the most unique and amazing plants in the world. This tree is different from other trees in that it doesn’t grow in the typical fashion. Once planted, one must water, feed and nurture the seed every day.

This process continues for four long years, without the farmer seeing any sign of life on the surface of the ground. But then in the fifth year an amazing thing happens; The tree finally breaks the surface of the ground. Then in the space of five weeks this tree grows to an astounding height of 90 feet.

The interesting thing  is that, though for four years, nothing seemed to be happening, the seed had actually sprouted within days of being planted. And during the four years, it has been growing a very strong, deep and extensive root system, necessary to sustain its life. The farmer keeps watering and providing sunlight to it because he understands that something is happening beneath the surface. And because he doesn’t give up, eventually he reaps the fruit of his labor.
Galantians 6:9 says ‘And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.’

God’s growing season is much like the Chinese Bamboo Tree.  In our spiritual walk we must learn to patiently wait upon God. Indeed persistence pays off, especially in the place of prayer. In Luke 18:1-8, Jesus told his disciples a parable that shows if we don’t give up in prayer, we eventually get our answer.

Not getting an immediate response, shouldn’t discourage us from praying. We may not see the answer today, but that doesn’t mean the answer is not being worked on.

The key is persistence. Refuse to give up. The enemy knows that if you persist you will receive, this is why he tries to discourage and weary you to give up before your answer comes. But make up your mind that it doesn’t matter how long it takes, you will keep praying because you know God has promised you an answer and He keeps His promises.

And as you persist in prayer, it is only a matter of time before your answer comes. Indeed if you faint not, you will surely  reap.
PRAYER: Lord, please grant me the grace to patiently wait for the manifestations of  Your promises in my life. Please enable to persevere in the place of prayer, without ever giving up, until my answer comes in Jesus Name. .

MARCH 19 : GOD CAN TURN OUR MISTAKES INTO MIRACLES

Romans 8:28:

‘And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

’DAILY READING  1 Corinthians 14:26-40; 2 Kings 9; Jonah 4

When Israel declared its statehood on May 14, 1948, immediately the surrounding Arab nations declared war on the new nation. However Israel was no match for its enemies, as it grossly lacked weapons and manpower. Yet, against all odds, the Jews won the war. Many of the pitched battles became epic and smacked of the miraculous.

In one of these stories of miracles, Israeli soldiers were told that a small Jewish village was under attack by Syrian invaders. Immediately a small group of Israeli soldiers, riding in homemade armored trucks went to aid the besieged villagers. However while going, they took a wrong turn and accidentally entered into Lebanon. When they realized their mistake it was too late, heading towards them were twenty brand new Syrian armored cars carrying soldiers, ammunition and artillery. The Israeli soldiers were grossly outnumbered and would have been no match in a gun battle with this Syrian convoy.  However the Israelis immediately fired at the first Syrian truck and amazingly hit a tank loaded with gasoline, causing an explosion, which set fire to the truck behind it, full of hand grenades. As the trucks began to explode one after another, the loud booms could be heard for miles and the scared surviving Syrian soldiers abandoned their cargo and fled. The Israelis captured the remaining undamaged vehicles and Syrian weapons.  By the time they finally reached the besieged Jewish village where they were originally going, the invading Syrian soldiers having heard the commotion from the explosions had fled, after they heard rumors that the Israeli forces had invaded Lebanon. And that’s how one wrong turn saved an entire Jewish village and at the same time supplied the Israeli army with much needed armored trucks and weapons. The wrong turn the Israeli soldiers took turned out to become a miracle.

Indeed God can turn our mistakes to miracles. In the journey of life, we have sometimes taken wrong turns. We have all made mistakes, at one time or the other, no one is immune. However regardless of any mistake you may have  made, if you turn to God, He is prepared to turn that mistake, into your miracle.

Romans 8:28: speaks of God’s ability to turn situations around.  It says

‘And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.’

All things include your failures and your mistakes.  Though we may take wrong turns, when we get back on track and align ourselves to God’s will, God will turn things around for us.

Deuteronomy 23:5 says, ‘The LORD your God turned the curse into a blessing.’

The word ‘turned’ in this verse is the same word we find in Exodus 7:14-15, where the Lord tells Moses to confront Pharaoh with the rod which was turned to a serpent.

Indeed what was meant to kill can be turned around by God to become a life-giver. Sickness can be turned to health, poverty can be turned to prosperity, stress can be turned to strength. God can transform the impossible into the possible. He can turn a curse into a blessing, your mistake into a miracle.

Indeed when we love God all things work together for our good.

Deuteronomy 23:5 tells us why! It says ‘The Lord your God turned the curse into a blessing for you, because the LORD your God loves you.’

Indeed God loves you, He cares for you, and that’s why He will turn things around for you. You may have made mistakes, but God is at work to turn your stumbling blocks into stepping stones.

Indeed there is no situation God cannot turn around. There is no night so dark, His light cannot penetrate. You may not know what to do, but God knows what to do. Just turn over the situation to Him in prayer. God knows the end from the beginning. He knows how to fix our lives, He is the potter that knows how to put us back together even when we are broken. You may not immediately see how things will work out right now, but just trust God. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we could ever ask or imagine. He has it all figured out. No matter what happens, God has it all under control. He has a plan and a purpose. And as long as we are sincere in following Him, He will cause everything to work together for our good.

He will make miracles out of your mistakes. He will turn your mess into a message, and He will cause your scars to become your stars.

Though you may have taken a wrong turn, God is able to turn it into your miracles. Where you may have recorded losses, God is about to turn it to profiting. What was a disadvantage, God can turn into an advantage. And this will happen when we hand over our situations to Him in prayer.
PRAYER:  Lord, I thank You for a positive change of story in my life. Indeed I know  everything is  working together for my good. By Your grace I am moving from glory to glory in  Jesus name.

MARCH 18 : GOD IS MAKING YOU STRONGER!

Isaiah 50:10
‘Who is among you that feareth The Lord, that obeyeth the voice of His servant that walketh in darkness and hath no light? Let him trust in the name of The Lord and stay upon his God’.

DAILY READING 1 Corinthians 14:1-25; 2 Kings 8; Jonah 3

In 1962, a revealing study of 413 “famous and exceptionally gifted people” called Cradles of Eminence, was published by Victor and Mildred Goertzel. They spent years attempting to understand what produced such greatness, what common thread might run through all of these outstanding people’s lives. Surprisingly, the most outstanding fact was that virtually all of them, 392, had to overcome very difficult obstacles in order to become who they were.

Indeed the path to greatness is a path often fraught with challenges. And it is only through overcoming those challenges that one truly becomes a winner and achiever in life.

As we go through the scriptures, we find also that most of those greatly used by God, were those who first passed through fire.

Joseph went through slavery and imprisonment before mounting the throne of Egypt. For David, most of his Psalms were written in very difficult times. Apostle Paul, wrote most of the Epistles from prisons. Even today, most of the present day great men and women have had to pass through various physical and spiritual oppositions to bring the Gospel to people.

God does not tempt anyone, nor bring these trials, but when the enemy does, God uses them as trainers for our spiritual muscles. Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through trials and challenges, can the soul be strengthened, faith inspired, and success achieved.

The believer’s life is an overcomer’s life. It is a life of continually triumphing over challenges and moving from victory to victory. And our victory comes through the faith imparted to our heart by God’s Word.

This is why in times of  trials, we do not  focus on the negative things, rather we focus on  Christ Jesus. No matter the trial, we keep looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

Serving God does not mean that you will never have challenges. Rather it means that despite the tribulations in the world, through Christ we will always have the victory.

There is an encouraging verse in Isaiah 50:10 that says

‘Who is among you that feareth The Lord, that obeyeth the voice of His servant that walketh in darkness and hath no light? Let him trust in the name of The Lord and stay upon his God’.

You may fear The Lord, be serving Him, and still sometimes find yourself in a difficult situation. Daniel found himself in this kind of situation, when thrown into the Lion’s den. But then did his trial change his confession? No! He still believed God, still trusted God through the trial. And God saw him through and gave him victory in the end.

If challenges come to us even when we are serving God, the Bible tells us in the above verse ‘stay upon The Lord.’ That is to say no matter how dark the situation, hold on to the Word of God. Even when it seems you cannot see your way, walk by the light imparted to your heart by The Word of God. We do not walk by sight, we walk by faith.  Listen to the voice of The Holy Spirit within you and walk by the instructions He gives.

Indeed they that put their trust in The Lord shall never be ashamed. It doesn’t matter what it may look like now, God will surely see you through. He will make a way for you. He will turn around that situation for you. What men meant for evil God will turn it for your good, where you were meant to stumble, God will cause you to soar. He will lift you up, He will turn your mourning into dancing. He will put off your sackcloth and gird you with gladness. He will turn your test into your testimony.

So whatever challenge you may face, know that it is all working out together for your good.  God will come through for you. Despite the roaring of the storm, you will survive, you will thrive. Through it all, God will give you a song and a testimony.

PRAYER: Lord, Please help me to always know that You are at work in my situation. Indeed with You nothing is impossible. Help me never to limit You in my thinking, because indeed You can do exceedingly above all I could ever ask or imagine in Jesus Name.  .

Psalm 34:1 KJV
I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.  My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. Psalm 34:1-2  DAILY READING      – 1 Corinthians 13; 2 Kings 7:3-20; Jonah 2

In 2014 several news outlets, reported the story of how a gospel song saved a 10-year-old Atlanta boy from his kidnapper. According to the story, ten year old Willie Myrick was in his front yard when he saw money on the ground. As he bent down to pick up money, suddenly a man grabbed him from behind, and threw him into a car. The man then slammed the door and drove off with Willie inside the car. The man told him, he didn’t want to hear a word from him. Realizing the great danger he was in, Willie knew he needed God’s intervention. Remembering what he had been taught in church, he switched to praise. He began to sing the gospel song “Every Praise” by Hezekiah walker. As he sang, the kidnapper started cursing and repeatedly told him to shut up, but he wouldn’t. He sang the song for about three hours while being held hostage in the moving car. Eventually the kidnapper got fed up, stopped, opened the door and threw him out of the car. The little boy ran to a nearby home and asked the resident to call his guardian.

Later, when he shared the testimony at his Church the News went viral. And when Hezekiah walker heard the story, he travelled down to Atlanta, to personally meet Myrick and sing the song with him in his church.

Indeed there is power in praise. Praise is an unbeatable weapon in warfare, because  praise brings God’s presence.

Psalm 22 says that God inhabits the praises of His people. The more you praise God, the more His presence surrounds you and when God is around you, no evil can come near you.

Whenever you are faced with a situation you don’t know how to handle, switch to praise.

There is a mystery about praise that breaks every prison and bondage around you. When Paul and Silas were shut up in prison, and they began to praise God, suddenly there was an earthquake and their bonds were broken.

Anytime you are going through a bad situation, go into clamorous praise. It is no time for you to complain or murmur, rather  it is time for you to praise because when you do that, God steps into the scene and that compels every devil to bow out.

When armies came against King Jehoshaphat in 2Chronicles 20, he said ‘we do not know what to do.’ And God said ‘‘I know what to do, ‘praise Me’’. And when they praised God, He turned the enemies to fight amongst themselves and kill each other.

David knew how to celebrate God in season and out of season. David committed himself to praise God at all times no matter the situation.

He recognized that by praising God, you make room for Him to come and change the situation and turn it all around to your favor. Because all things work together for good to them that love God, and they that love Him are those that praise Him.

Psalm 92:1 says ‘It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto Thy name, O most High.’

God is indeed good all the time! He reigns in every situation and He is more than able to turn everything around for our good.

Are you faced with a challenging situation today? Then it is time to turn up the volume of your praise! God is still on the throne! Give Him worthy Praise and watch Him work your miracle!
PRAYER: Lord, I thank You because You are always good and faithful, no matter what happens around me. I know even now You are working out my miracle. .  Please grant me the grace to always give you worthy praise in every situation in Jesus Name. .

MARCH  16 : STAYING CONNECTED TO THE SPIRIT

Isaiah 48:17
Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, Who leads you in the way you should go.

DAILY READING –  1 Corinthians 12; 2 Kings 6:1-7:2; Jonah 1
The great healing evangelist John G. Lake, was a man of vision, and strength, whose one goal in life was to bring the fullness of God to every man. He not only succeeded as a minister of the Gospel, he was also a very successful businessman, before going into full time ministry. And part of the secret of his success in business was his unbroken connection to The Spirit of God.

In 1901, as a young man, Lake moved to Zion, Illinois, to study divine healing under the great preacher John Alexander Dowie. While there, he was employed as Dowie’s building manager in his new Zion city housing project.   Lake invested in Zion’s properties while working for Dowie. But due to a financial downturn in Dowie’s ministry, Lake’s  holdings depreciated leaving him in near financial ruins.  Almost penniless, Lake relocated to Chicago, where he bought a seat on the Chicago Board of Trade.

At this time Lake had learned the secret of unbroken connection with The Spirit of God. In the book ‘God’s Generals’ he stated that “It became easy for me to detach myself from the course of life, so that while my hands and mind were engaged in the common affairs of every day, my spirit maintained its attitude of communion with God.”

Even while he worked on mundane things, he constantly prayed in the Holy Ghost. The result of this was that he became divinely guided in the business decisions he took. Within one year of losing his investments at Dowie’s Zion city project, he was able to accumulate over $130,000 in the bank, and real estate worth $90,000.

Recognizing his gifts, certain business executives quickly asked Lake to form a trust of the nation’s three largest insurance companies for a guaranteed salary of $50,000 a year. He accepted, and soon became business consultant to top business executives, and was making hundreds of dollars through commissions as well.

Indeed by the standards of his time,  John G. Lake was now making a fortune. For a while he was able to juggle his great secular success and still grow in God, because he had learned the secret of unbroken fellowship. Even as the call of God inside of him continued to grow, by learning to commune with God from within his spirit, Lake progressed toward the perfect timing for his ministry. And when the time finally came for him to fully answer the call, the same secret of unbroken fellowship with The Spirit, made him to become one of the greatest preachers  the world had ever seen.

Isaiah 48:17 says ‘Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, Who leads you in the way you should go.’

It is God that teaches us to profit. Despite our busy schedules, we can remain constantly connected to The Spirit of God. While our hands are working , our spirit can remain in sweet communion with God, through ceaseless flow of prayer. Just like you would plug your phone into electricity, we need to plug our spiritual life into God. Most people carry a phone charger with them because they don’t want to be without power in their phone. Well, in the same way you can keep your spirit plugged into God, so that you are constantly charged up spiritually.

All through the day, we constantly check the power level of our phone. We  know when it is at 50%, 30% or 10%. Likewise, as we operate through the day, we should be able to know when we are becoming spiritual low through disconnection from God’s Spirit. At those times we need to plug back in through prayer, praise and listening to God’s Word.

When we maintain such unbroken connection with The Spirit, we can be sure of success daily, as He guides us on what to do. God is closer than the air we breathe. As we bless The Lord at all times and His praise is continually on our lips, then we can be sure of His divine  guidance into our high places in life.
PRAYER: Father please help me to maintain an unbroken connection to Your Spirit, wherever I go. Grant me the grace for a continual flow of prayer, praise and hearing of Your Word, so that I can be divinely guided by Your Spirit daily in Jesus Name.

Nora Lam was a Chinese Christian missionary whose story of survival and faith in the face of Communist oppression has encouraged many people around the world. Her true life story is told in the movie ‘cry China’ produced by the Christian Broadcasting Network [TBN].

Nora Lam was adopted into a wealthy Shanghai family in 1941, and enjoyed a privileged life until the 1950’s, when a Cultural Revolution occurred in China. This revolution required all of China to come under one class of people–the working class. As a result, those who belonged to the upper-class of society were tortured and often killed. Because her family was wealthy, they became targets. Their home was seized and her father was arrested. Nora herself would later be arrested for being a Christian.  When she refused to denounce Christ, her captors commanded her to be executed.  Nora was blindfolded and pushed into a courtyard in the night before a firing squad. But as she prayed to God, suddenly a strange wind started to blow, and a storm began. On the official’s command, “Fire!” guns exploded. But at that very moment the courtyard was suddenly bathed in a heavenly light. A lightning bolt from heaven struck the courtyard, shaking the soldiers on the firing squad. Though the guns were fired, Nora was unharmed. God had miraculously spared her.

Scared by the experience the soldiers made no further attempt to kill her, rather she was taken to serve in prison. And later through divine intervention Nora was released from prison. She came to the United States at the invitation of healing evangelist Kathryn Kuhlman, who gave Nora her platform to share her testimony.

From there, Nora went around the world sharing her story and later founded the Nora Lam Ministries International, which continues to support Chinese house churches and Christian programs around the world.

Indeed we serve a supernatural God. He is the God that parts Red Seas, levels mountains,  and raises the dead. Though your circumstances may look impossible, it doesn’t limit God. No matter how tight or tough the corner you may find yourself, God can still do the impossible to bring deliverance to you.

When Nora faced the firing squad it seemed as if it was over for her, yet God showed up amazingly and brought deliverance. God is able to save us in any situation. In fact when you’re in a situation that seems impossible, you’re in perfect position for God to show out in your life.

When the 3 Hebrew boys faced the fire, it looked as if it was over, yet God showed up right there in the midst of the fire and brought deliverance to them.

Even when it seems too late to men, it is never too late for God. Sometimes God delays so that greater glory can be revealed. In John 11, it seemed as if Lazarus’ case was hopeless, yet Jesus showed up and brought about a resurrection that brought great glory to God.

In Nora’s case her coming face to face with a firing squad, gave her a great testimony, and opportunity for worldwide evangelism that brought her even before kings.

2 Corinthians 4:17 says ‘For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory’

When you’re in a difficult situation, very often this is for greater glory to be revealed in you. Regardless of your current circumstances, keep following God faithfully. As you do, God will begin to turn things around for your good and His glory.

Through what was meant to kill you, God will release such an anointing that will take you to unimagined heights. That difficult  situation will bring such glory into your life that the enemy would wish he never brought that situation your way.

Romans 8:18 says ‘For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us’

In other words your sufferings will not be in vain. It will culminate in greater Glory in the end. The difficulties you are passing through are only preparing you for something better.

This is why you must hold on to God’s Word, no matter how fierce the battle. That is why you must keep living right and doing right because your labour shall never be in vain.

Jesus said ‘In the world you will have challenges; but be of good cheer for I have overcome the world.’ Indeed Jesus has overcome for you. Let the devil give it his best shot – you will always come out on top because the greater One lives in you. Christ in you is the hope of glory. Therefore in every situation, keep giving praise to God, because   greater glory is coming your way in Jesus Name.
PRAYER: Lord, please help me to always remain strong in faith, no matter how difficult things may sometimes look around me.  I thank You because in every situation, Your Glory is being revealed through me, in  Jesus Name.

MARCH 14  : NOTHING IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD

 Mark 10:27
‘And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.”
DAILY READING  2 Corinthians 1:1-2:4; 2 Kings 14; Micah 4:1-5:1

According to scientists, the bumblebee cannot fly, because its body is too heavy and its wing span too small. Short and stubby in stature, the bumblebee doesn’t look very flight-worthy. In the 1930s, French entomologist August Magnan even noted that the insect’s flight is actually impossible, a notion that has stuck in popular consciousness since then.

Aerodynamically, the bumblebee is not supposed to fly, but the bumblebee doesn’t know these scientific facts, so it keeps flying, defying the odds.

The truth is that when you don’t know your limitations, you go out and surprise yourself. The only limitations a person has are those that are self-imposed.

The people in history who have been truly amazing and fascinating are those who had the courage to step up to challenge and question the limitations of their time.

The trailblazers have been those who didn’t accept the status quo, they didn’t accept the commonly known “facts” that they were taught, but rather chose to find out the truth for themselves.

And today, though scientists said the bumble bee could not fly, yet the bumble bee proves them wrong as it keeps flying.

Likewise, there are no limits to what we can achieve, we only limit ourselves with our own thinking.
Indeed what you believe is what you receive. As long as we are confined within our natural way of thinking we remain seriously limited. However, when we align our thinking to God’s Word we become unlimited and can achieve anything.

God is not limited. God declared in Jeremiah 32:27 “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?”

Indeed nothing is too hard for  God.

Mark 10:27 says ‘And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.”
Truly God is unlimited, Omnipotent, and all power in heaven and on earth belongs to Him. God is not only Omnipotent and Omnipresent, He is also Omniscient. He knows all things, He is the God that is not only here right now, but He has gone into our tomorrows and knows the end from the beginning. This is why we should believe His Word above any contrary situation..

Whatever situation you may be facing today, do not limit God’s ability to deliver you. know that with God nothing is impossible.

Yes, it may seem impossible with men, but not with God. God is the almighty and sovereign God. He is a marvelous God, the God of the miraculous. He is the God of all possibilities. He fixes the impossible and makes them possible. Therefore take your eyes off your situation, and begin to believe God for the miraculous. Do not be moved by the complexity of the situation. Refuse to believe that negative medical report. Jesus never asked anyone for their medical history or their doctor’s opinion, before healing them. It didn’t matter how bad, incurable or difficult the situation, as soon as Jesus appeared, every knee bowed, every demon fled, every sickness and disease disappeared. The same way today, at the mention of that greater Name of Jesus, every opposition in your life must bow. No matter the situation confronting you, know that God can do the impossible in your life. Indeed there is hope for you.

It is therefore time to let God’s word dominate your mind. Continually fill your heart with the Word of God and confess it over your situations. God says you shall not die but live to declare the works of God. God says when you command the mountain to be removed and cast into the sea, it must obey you.

Your life will always reflect the contents of your mind, it is therefore time to throw away every doubt and swallow God’s Word raw. Let your creed become ‘God says it, I believe and that settles it’

Believe everything God says about you and confess it. What men may have termed impossible with you, God will disappointment their verdict. That situation doctors said is impossible God will overturn it and make it possible. Do not limit God. Expect the impossible, expect the unusual, expect the miraculous, because that is where GOD works. Indeed when you believe all things shall be possible to you.

PRAYER: Lord, I Thank You for overturning every contrary situation in my life. Indeed with You nothing shall be impossible. There is no situation you cannot change. I therefore receive grace today to align my thinking to Your Word so that I can take delivery of my miracle in Jesus Name.
