DAILY READING; • Mark 14:32-72; 1 Kings 9; Hosea 11:1-11

Bruce Olson is an American missionary whom God used to bring Christianity to the Motilone Indians of Colombia and Venezuela.
When Bruce first sensed God calling him to evangelize the Motilone Indians, he was apprehensive about how he would communicate the Gospel to the primitive tribe. However, unknown to him, God had already gone ahead of him to prepare the way for the Gospel.
When Bruce arrived at the territory of the Motilones, initially, they refused to receive the Gospel.
However, with time, Bruce began to learn surprising things about their tradition.. They had a belief that in the remote past, a false prophet had deceived their tribe and God had departed from them. Because of God’s departure, they were now subject to demons, darkness, sickness and sufferings. But they also believed that someday, somebody would come who would again lead them back to God.
They also told Bruce that God would talk to them from a banana stalk. To Bruce, the legend made no sense at all.
However, one day, while traveling through the jungle, Bruce came upon two men, howling in grieving anguish for their dead brother. One of them, in a moment of frustration chopped a small section out of a nearby banana plant and tossed it on the ground. As the soft layers of the Banana stalks separated easily like pages in a book, Bruce remembered their legend about the banana stalk. He then grabbed his Bible and held it open beside the banana ‘pages’ on the ground. As the men saw the Bible and banana together the light of truth suddenly dawned on them! The legend of the Banana stalk from which God would speak to them was from a book! The Bible!
The revelation was so profound that one of the men, snatched the Bible from Bruce’s hands, ripped pages from it, stuffed them into his mouth and frantically began eating them. He wanted the God who was in the Book to come into him!
From that moment on, Bruce had an open door to speak to the Motilones about how God could come into their hearts. Six years after his arrival in South America, Bruce finally had his first converts. And from then on, most of the Motilones converted to Christianity, opening the door to civilization and great progress in their community.

When God opened the eyes of the Motilone tribe, they were able to relate their age-old legend to the Bible.
In a similar way, today, many people need their eyes to be opened in order to relate to the truth of God’s Word.

Truly, the greatest problem of this age is spiritual blindness.
For instance, while there are great men and women of God, doing exploits through revelations from the Bible, there are also many other Christians carrying about the same Bible without any tangible benefits.
The difference is revelation.
While God’s Word is loaded with wonders, it is only those who gain access to its content that can enjoy the benefits.

In Revelation 5:4-5, John wept much, because no man was found worthy to open the book. Then one of the elders told him ‘Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof..’

The opening of the book was what brought an end to the tears. Indeed revelation marks the end of every frustration.
But as long as the book remains closed, weeping continues.
Through lack of knowledge, people perish. Through absence of light, men wander and languish in darkness.

However, Jesus, the Lamb of God has shed His Blood to destroy everything that limits access to His Word. Therefore, anytime you are reading the Bible and you seem to lack revelation, start to plead the Blood over every seal blocking your access.
Through the Blood we can overcome every spiritual blindness and begin to behold the wonders in the Word.
Certainly, it is God’s will to wipe away tears from all faces, through encounters in His Word.
Isaiah 25:8 says ‘the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.’

Surely, whatever has been a source of pain, frustration, and cause of secret tears, God will wipe them away today through the light of His Word.
Today, as we engage the Blood of the everlasting covenant, every hindrance to revelations will be removed, every scale will fall off our eyes and we shall indeed begin to behold unending wonders from God’s Word.

PRAYERS;
Father, today, I receive the grace for in-depth and diligent study of Your Word. As I read, I thank You for revelations by Your Spirit. Certainly, by the Blood of Jesus, my eyes are being opened to behold the wonders of Your Word in Jesus Name .

DAILY READING • Mark 14:1-31; 1 Kings 8; Hosea 9:17-10:15

Andrew Jackson would be the first American president to face and survive an assassination attempt.
On January 30, 1835, President Andrew Jackson attended a funeral where the chaplain’s sermon doted on the uncertainty of life.
It proved to be a timely sermon because only few moments later, the president’s life hung in a balance.
As he was leaving the venue that day, a young man pulled out a gun from his coat and faced the president. From a distance of about six feet, the assassin aimed at President Jackson’s heart and pulled the trigger!
But the gun failed to fire. Realizing what was happening President Jackson raised his walking cane and tried to hit the gunman.
But the assailant only pulled out a second gun, which he again aimed at the president who was now very close, only inches away from the gun’s muzzle.
As the assassin pulled the trigger, again the second gun failed to fire.

By this time several military aides had swooped down on the assassin and overpowered him.
Miraculously, his two attempts to shoot the President had failed due to technical failures in both guns. However, the amazing thing was that, hours later, when the two guns were tested, they functioned perfectly and fired accurately. Yet, somehow, inexplicably both guns had failed during the assassination attempt. God had miraculously intervened that day to save the President’s life.

We may never know how many times God has intervened to deflect the weapons fashioned against us. We sleep and wake up every day, never knowing the many arrows that failed to function against us.

Psalm 91:5, talks about ‘the terror by night, and arrows that flies by day’
Psalm 55:10 also talks about the wicked who go around the city walls, day and night.
1 Peter 5:8 talks about the adversary, the devil, who goes about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour:’

Obviously, day and night on the earth, there is constant battle. Day and night the enemy is always releasing his weapons.
Yet, God who never sleeps nor slumbers day and night also watches over us,

Psalm 121: 3-5 & 7 says ‘He that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper: ..The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.’

Despite the spiritual missiles flying about, God is ever awake, causing the enemy’s weapons to suffer technical failures.
This is why we praise Him. Indeed if it had not been for the Lord on our side, where would we be?’
God has been our shield, our refuge and strong tower.
For His many mercies, seen and unseen, we owe Him constant thanks.
However it takes spiritual understanding to give value to our praise. It is only when we can think well, that we can thank well.

Psalm 47:7 says ‘…sing ye praises with understanding’
Through the study of the Word we receive the spiritual insight that grants us deep appreciation for God. We cannot possibly know all the details of God’s goodness, but for every of His blessings, known or unknown, we owe Him continual thanks.
Indeed we can never count the battles He daily fights for us nor the many traps He helps us to escape.
Especially, in this perilous season of the pandemic, some of us walked through the valley of the shadow of death, yet God kept us. The times that we could have given up, God’s grace upheld us.
Let us therefore. deliberately and constantly bless the Lord at all times.
Through high praises, we will ignite the wonder-working power of God that leads us to our high places. Certainly, through gratitude, we shall be rising to higher altitudes.

PRAYER: Lord, I just thank You for the grace to praise You always. I’m truly grateful for all Your faithfulness and unending goodness in my life and in the life of my family. Thank You Lord for Your divine protection, preservation and provisions in Jesus’ Name.

DAILY READING; Mark 13:14-37; 1 Kings 7; Hosea 9:1-16

John Alexander Dowie shook the world at the turn of the century with a revelation about healing imparted to his heart by the Holy Spirit. This revelation brought him to the forefront of the divine healing movement of the late 19th century and established him as a major Apostle of that era.

In 1875, Dowie was pastoring a new Church in Australia when a bubonic plague broke out and began ravaging the area. There was no cure for the plague and within a month of his arrival, Dowie buried over forty members of his congregation.
Heartbroken over the situation, he then began desperately seeking God to show him what to do.
One day, while in his study, Dowie suddenly received a revelation from Acts 10:38 of how Christ is still the Healer. From that Scripture, he understood that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever and the miracles He did before He is still doing again..

This revelation was still strong in his heart when he received an urgent call to pray for a dying girl. As he entered the room and saw how the devil was attacking the young girl with convulsions, Dowie became furious. The medical doctor in the room had already given up, believing she would die.
But with the revelation from the Word of God still burning in his heart, Dowie took authority over the situation and began praying fervently with faith.
As he prayed, the girl’s convulsions ceased immediately, and she fell into a deep sleep. She woke up after several minutes, totally healed.
Thanking God for His amazing power, Dowie also prayed for the girl’s bother and sister who lay sick with the same plague and they also instantly recovered.
From that day on, Dowie ministered to his flock on divine healing and prayed for their healing. He never lost another member to the plague.

Psalm 119:18 says “Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law”

Indeed God’s Word is full of wonders.
Insight from the Word certainly turns us into living wonders.
Revelation from the Word of God is an invaluable asset to every believer. Our recovery of destiny anchors on our discovery from the Word.
Divine revelation will always terminate afflictions, guarantee liberation and lead to elevation.
When the light of God’s Word gains entrance into us, we will receive the understanding that will cause us to be outstanding.

Psalm 119:130 says ‘The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.’

When the Word of God enters our hearts, it shines within us as light that dispels all darkness.
Especially, in these end-times, as the whole world lies in darkness, the light of God’s Word will be a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. Through the Word, we will always see our way forward and never become stranded. Revelation will terminate frustrations and guarantee our preservation.

Through revelation, we will enjoy divine elevation, as new light from the Word will lead us to new heights in life.
Despite the gross darkness in the world, we will arise and shine. And as we walk, our path, like a shining light, will only keep shining brighter and brighter.

Certainly, revelation will lead to our acceleration as with brighter light, we will have better lives.
Indeed revelation from the Word of God is a life-changer!
And as we commit to diligently study God’s Word in this season, certainly, we will receive the revelation that will birth a revolution in our lives.

PRAYER: Lord, as I study Your Word please grant me the revelations I need to overcome every challenge that comes my way. Thank You Lord for indeed flooding my life with Your light in Jesus Name.

DAILY READING Mark 13:1-13; 1 Kings 6; Hosea 8

Charles Spurgeon was a 19th century Pastor known for his extraordinary preaching style. He was celebrated in his day as the ‘Prince of Preachers’.
Spurgeon was pastor of the congregation of Metropolitan Tabernacle in London for 38 years. The Tabernacle would seat over 5,000 people as many thronged to hear him.
His oratory skills are said to have held his listeners spellbound. Many Christians held his writings in exceptionally high regard and his sermons were published immediately after he gave them. His sermons are still widely circulated today.
His reputation as a famed and powerful preacher, his cheery wit, and his confidence might have led people to imagine there could never have been a chink in his armor.
However, the truth is that Charles Spurgeon passed through very tough and great challenges in his life and ministry. He suffered debilitating gout, poisonous slander and criticisms, recurring depression etc.
Spurgeon’s life saw many difficult moments.
During his early years in London, Spurgeon received intense slander and scorn from the media.
Yet, his friends and even casual acquaintances would often remark on his hearty laughter. His humor also found expression in his sermons and writings.
We only know today about his sufferings owing to his frequent and candid descriptions of them.
Yet, he never allowed any of these challenges to hinder him or stop him from fulfilling his God-given destiny.

Studies have shown that one outstanding fact about everyone who ever becomes great is that they all had to overcome very difficult obstacles in life.
As we go through the scriptures, we find also that most of those greatly used by God, were those who first passed through fire.
Joseph went through slavery and imprisonment before mounting the throne of Egypt. For David, most of his Psalms were written in very difficult times.
Apostle Paul, wrote most of the Epistles from prisons. In 2 Corinthians 1:8, he wrote about the trials he and his fellow believers had experienced; trials so great that they “despaired even of life”.
Even today, most of the present day great men and women have had to pass through various physical and spiritual oppositions to bring the Gospel to people.

God does not tempt anyone, nor bring these trials, but when the enemy does, God uses them as trainers for our spiritual muscles. Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through trials and challenges, can the soul be strengthened, faith inspired, and success achieved.

The believer’s life is an overcomer’s life. It is a life of continually triumphing over challenges and moving from victory to victory. And our victory comes through the faith imparted to our heart by God’s Word.

This is why in times of trials, we do not focus on the negative things, rather we focus on God’s Word. No matter the trial, we keep looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.
When you’re in a challenging situation, very often this is for greater glory to be revealed in you.

Romans 8:18 says ‘For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us’

In other words your sufferings will not be in vain. It will culminate in greater Glory in the end. The difficulties you are passing through are only preparing you for something better. This is why you must hold on to God’s Word, no matter how fierce the battle.
Certainly, through faith, you will always overcome because faith is the victory that overcomes the world.
Indeed in the end, God will so glorify Himself through that situation, and bring such glory into your life that the enemy would wish he never brought that problem your way.
Therefore in any difficulty you may encounter this year, keep giving God praise. As you praise Him, He will certainly raise you out of every pit and turn you into a wonder to your world.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to always remain strong in faith, no matter how difficult things may sometimes look around me. I thank You because in every situation, You are giving me total victory in Jesus Name.

Psalm 127:1 “Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it.”

As a seven-year-old, David Boudia watched his first Olympic Games in Atlanta 1996, and dreamt of competing on the world stage. By age eleven, David Boudia’s ambitions began to take shape as he worked towards becoming a top athlete.
However, he was driven by superficial goals of fame, riches and notoriety. In 2008, at age 19, he qualified for the Olympics in Beijing. He trained obsessively and wholeheartedly, with the hope of winning a gold medal in his first Olympics.
During the event, he failed miserably, finishing in the 10th position. He did not win a single medal. Deeply disappointed, he felt he had let his country down and was an utter failure.

After the Olympics, he returned to college, and began a battle with depression. He tried to cover up by pursuing a lifestyle of partying. Outwardly, to everyone else, it seemed as if he had it all, but inside him life began to make less and less sense, until he began contemplating suicide.
One Saturday in 2010, it all came to a breaking point and in desperation he reached out to his coach, Adam Soldati who was a Christian. Adam introduced him to Jesus, and from that moment David Boudia’s life turned around.

As he began to seek God earnestly, his priorities changed. With his new understanding, he began to see diving as a means to bring glory to God rather than for promoting himself.
In 2012, he once again made the Olympic team. This time, however, things were different. He was no longer desperately seeking to win a gold medal. He went to the London Olympics, seeking to honor the Lord, and God also honored him in return by enabling him to win a gold medal and a bronze medal.

Mathew 6:33 said, “Seek ye first God’s kingdom and His righteousness, and every other thing shall be added unto you”.

Indeed when your focus is bringing glory to God, you will never end up in shame.
Pursuing after the heart of God is the secret card for experiencing success in life. Truly, we cannot make a mark in life until God has first put His mark on us. And we will have no effect until He has first affected us.

When we seek God and His kingdom, good things run after us. Indeed what you seek after, determines what seeks after you. And putting God first in all our affairs causes success to come after us. God is not ‘a’ factor for our success, God is ‘the’ factor for our success. Indeed, all the labour of man is futility without God’s input.

Psalm 127:1 says, “Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it.”

We can never impact our world until God has first impacted us. God is the maker of men’s destinies, and it is only through following Him that we become made in life.

When you put God first, you will never end up as last. And when you advance His kingdom, you’ll never end up at the back. Mighty men are made by the Almighty God. He is the Most High God, and all who are joined to Him end up in the high places of life.

Therefore to see the wonders of God this year, let us be encouraged to give God first place in everything. Certainly, when you give God your best, He’ll take care of the rest.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for the grace to always seek You first in everything. Truly, without You, I can do nothing. Thank You Lord for perfecting all that concerns me and causing me to see Your wonders this year in Jesus’ Name.

Psalm 124:7 ‘Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.’

DAILY READING – Mark 12:1-27; 1 Kings 3; Hosea 6:1-7:2

The Boxer Rebellion of 1900 was an uprising in China targeted at destroying foreigners, whom they called ‘foreign devils’. It left thousands of British and American residents in China dead.
At this time, Archibald Edward Glover was a British missionary in China. He and his family got caught in the middle of what became one of the most terrifying ordeals of the 20th century.
When the riots began, Archibald Glover and his family embarked on a journey on mules to leave the city and escape to safety.

At this time it was perilous to travel on the Chinese roads as danger lay in every corner. Though the plan was to stay on the high road and avoid the villages, their Chinese escorts eventually decided to enter a village to find an inn to eat. But as soon as they stopped at the inn, they were immediately surrounded by a mob of villagers who began calling for the death of the ‘foreign devils’.
Some men of the village came into the inn and asked Glover to pay a ransom for their lives. The amount was too high and when he couldn’t pay, it seemed certain they would be killed. Glover and his family then cried out to God.
A dozen evil-looking men with knives came into the inn to lead them out to the street where an angry mob waited to kill them.

As they stepped out of the inn, into the street, though dense masses of people lined the roadway on either side, there was a sudden profound silence. The mob of people were no longer shouting or attempting to stone them. Then they saw the reason why;
Standing there, was a well dressed man that appeared to be a leader in the village. For reasons they could not understand, this man had intervened and stopped any attack on them.
To Glover’s amazement this man took the reins of their carriage himself and without a word began to lead them to the village gate. He escorted Glover and his family all the way to the village’s boundary, far away from the angry mob, then made them a courteous bow and departed.
Glover was speechless by God’s sudden direct divine intervention that had saved their lives. There was nothing to account for the behavior of this Chinese leader, it was nothing but the work of God. Joy and songs of thanksgiving filled their mouths as they went on their way headed to safety.
The story of Archibald Glover is captured in his book, ‘A Thousand Miles of Miracle.’

Psalm 105: 14-15 says ‘He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.’

Sometimes, despite how well the enemy thinks he has worked out his plans of destruction, God is able to cause us to escape like a bird out of the snare of the fowler.
When it seems you are surrounded and there is no way out, God can suddenly create a path through the mighty waters.
It does not matter how numerous the enemies, we serve the God of wonders who makes a way where there seems to be no way.

If perhaps today, you are facing a situation where it seems you are tightly cornered, be assured that God will make a way for you. No matter how bad the doctor’s report, the bank account, career challenge or family crisis; don’t get scared.
Certainly, He that is with you is greater than they that be against you. The One that is inside you is strong and mighty. He is the Lord, mighty in battle.
Therefore do not be intimidated. You serve the God of sudden visitations, who can suddenly intervene when it seems all hope is lost. He is the God of divine surprises who can do exceedingly abundantly above all you can ever think or imagine.
Therefore, keep your eyes on Jesus by continually looking into His Word. Through the Word, God will help you locate a way out of every tight corner.

Praise also triggers God’s miraculous divine intervention.
In 2 Chronicles 20, king Jehoshaphat was greatly outnumbered and it seemed there was no way out for him. But as he and the men of Judah, began to praise God, He turned the table on the enemies and caused them all to be destroyed.

Just like Jehoshaphat, as you also praise God today, He is going to set an ambush against your enemies.
It doesn’t matter the gang-up against you, God will surely arise for you. And when God arises, certainly all enemies will be scattered.

PRAYER; Lord, Please help me to always keep my eyes on You. May my focus continuously be on Your word and may my mouth be constantly filled with Your praises. Thank You Lord for indeed causing me to triumph always in Jesus Name. .

Mark 9:23 ‘Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.’

DAILY READING Mark 11:15-33; 1 Kings 2; Hosea 5:5-15

One remarkable story about the great British evangelist, Smith Wigglesworth, was what happened the day a woman died while he was still praying for her.
One day he was called to the hospital to pray for a sick and dying woman. When Smith got into her room, he saw that there was no possibility of life for her except God intervened miraculously. She was suffering from a tumor that had virtually sapped her life away. However, despite the hopeless situation Wigglesworth was convinced that God was able to heal her.
Smith then proceeded to pray for her.

However after praying and anointing her, he noticed her chin dropped. The woman had died while he had been praying! Although, it seemed it was over, Smith refused to let death have the final say.
Exercising his faith, he lifted up the dead woman from the bed, stood her up against the wall and began to rebuke the spirit of death. As he prayed, the woman began to tremble from the crown of her head to the sole of her feet and then she came back to life.
Smith then commanded her to walk.
When she didn’t move immediately, he repeated forcefully, “In the Name of Jesus, walk!”. And she began walking across the room. This woman became totally healed.
Her miracle marveled and baffled the doctors. Afterwards, she went about the city testifying about God’s amazing healing power.

Smith Wigglesworth could have given up when the woman died, but he understood that every situation is reversible by faith.
Faith holds the key to every closed door. It is the answer to all life’s challenges. All miracles, signs and wonders are obtainable through faith. Indeed there can be no dead or hopeless case as long as faith remains alive.

Faith is our winning ticket in life. It turns ordinary people into extra-ordinary giants. It causes signs and wonders to become our normal way of life.
Faith is the living force that resides in God’s Word, which we receive through continual hearing of God’s Word.
The more we hear, the more faith is birthed in our hearts to believe for miracles.
Faith is the covenant trigger that births signs and wonders in our lives.

Whatever seems like a challenge to you today, can be turned to a miracle.
Though it may appear impossible to men, it is totally possible to God.
Remember that you serve the All powerful God who is the creator of the universe; He hung the earth on nothing and flung the stars into space.
He is the same God who parted the red sea, shut the mouth of lions and does innumerable wonders.
Through faith in Him all things are possible.
Certainly, faith is the victory that overcomes the world

That is why we must strive to invest in building up our faith through diligent study of the Word.
As far as our eyes can see, will be given unto us.

Surely, as we behold the wondrous things stored up in God’s Word, we will be empowered to possess them. As our faith comes alive, all things will indeed be possible to us.

PRAYER: Lord, I know indeed that You are able to do in my life that which is impossible to men. I therefore thank You for imparting into my heart the faith to believe You for the miracles I need today, in Jesus Name

Luke 18:7 ‘Shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?’

DAILY READING; Mark 11:1-14; 1 Kings 1; Hosea 4:11b-5:4

Castrenze Cascio is an Italian pastor and author of the book titled, ‘Camminare e Spigolare [Walking and gleaning]’.
In the book, he documents a remarkable incident that took place after World War 2, in Campofiorito, a little town in Palermo, in the Italian region, Sicily.
In this small town was a Pastor named Francesco Coppola. He pastored an evangelical church that was severely persecuted by the government authorities. He and the church members were often arrested by the Carabinieri, a militia maintained by the government for police duties. Their leader, known as the Marshal of the Carabinieri, especially mocked these evangelicals.

Even after the authorities in Rome gave the Evangelicals permission to operate, the Marshal refused to allow them freedom of worship in the town. However, Pastor Francesco Coppola took his case to God.
One day while they were in a prayer meeting, the Carabinieri militia burst in and arrested them and took them to the Marshal.
The Marshal of the Carabinieri with arrogance began to question them about their activities and made mockery of their worship of God.
Though Pastor Francesco Coppola warned him to desist, the Marshal continued to speak blasphemously and detained them till evening before finally releasing them.
However, after the Marshall went home that evening, something strange happened. Before morning came, he found himself with a swollen throat. All treatment at the hospital proved ineffective. The doctors could not help him. The voice he had been using to mock God was gone. He was no longer able to talk or to breathe well. Three days later he died.
With his death, his persecutions and mockery of Pastor Coppola and the Church members came to an end and they were finally able to operate freely.

Vengeance is a vital aspect of the mystery of faith.
It is true God is love and is merciful, He is also the God of vengeance.
We sincerely need an understanding of this other side of God to triumph in life.
We serve the two-sided God, whose Word is a double-edged sword. He is the lion and the lamb, He is the Saviour and He is also the consuming fire.

God does not leave His children to be crushed by oppressions, afflictions, sickness, poverty etc.
It is not God’s will for your life to be continually harassed and persecuted and buffeted.
When it seems you have been pressed beyond measure, God arises to address the oppressors. God deals decisively with Pharaoh so that you can gain your freedom and march to your Canaan.

Unfortunately, people sometimes perish in silence due to lack of knowledge.
When the Israelites seemed overwhelmed by Pharaoh’s oppression, they didn’t keep quiet, they cried out to God.
For 430 years they suffered in slavery but as they began to cry out, God came down to avenge them speedily.

Jesus asked in Luke 18:7-8 ‘Shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?’
Indeed God is ready to avenge His elect speedily, but our faith must be intact for Him to deal with our mockers.

In Mark 11, when Jesus cursed the fig tree that was mocking Him, and it withered, the disciples were amazed at how He did it. Jesus told them, ‘Have faith in God’.
Faith is the force that deals with every mockery and resistance to your destiny. And we receive faith through hearing God’s Word and release it through speaking bold words.

Therefore , today, do not keep quiet. A closed mouth is a closed destiny. By faith, begin to boldly invoke the Blood of Jesus against those things that have stubbornly resisted your advancement. It is certainly your season to see miracles and wonders. Also call forth divine judgment against those enemies that fight from within; evil habits, addictions, lusts, slothfulness, sickness etc. Surely, they are all consumed by the Blood of Jesus.

This year, God’s glory must be seen upon our lives. Therefore today, let us receive the grace for diligent study of Scriptures, prayers and praise, so as to build up strong faith to see our manifestation of wonders.

PRAYER: Father I thank You for delivering me from every oppression of wickedness through the Blood of Jesus. Today, I receive the grace to build up my faith to see Your mighty manifestations in my life in Jesus Name.

DAILY READING – – Mark 10:32-52; 2 Samuel 24; Hosea 4:1-11a

On May 22, 2020, a Pakistan airliner crashed, killing 97 people. Pakistan’s aviation minster said the crash occurred because the pilots were distracted and preoccupied as they talked about the coronavirus pandemic.
The cockpit voice recorder showed that the discussion throughout the flight between the pilot and co-pilot was about the pandemic. Fear of the pandemic seemed dominant on their minds causing them not to pay enough attention while preparing to land the plane.
They did not follow set protocols and disregarded several warnings and alerts such as over-speed, landing gear not down and ground proximity alerts.
Their lack of focus was further shown by their incomprehensible actions, the flight data showed that they lowered the landing gear at 10 nautical miles, but then raised it up again 5 nautical miles from the runway.
With the landing gear not lowered as they attempted to land, it caused the aircraft to hit the runway surface on its engines. An Air traffic control alerted the pilot’s attention to the problem and urged a go-around. But as they lifted the plane up again to attempt a second landing, they started discussing corona again.
Because the engines had scraped on the runway, the damaged engines both failed. Without power to execute a second landing, the plane consequently crashed, killing those on board, including the captain and co-pilot. Only two passengers survived.

Luke 12:25 says, “And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? If you then are not able to do the least, why are you anxious for the rest?’

Fear, once it grips the heart can cripple a man and paralyze him from proper reasoning.
It is true the world is passing through a season of anxiety due to the global happenings, but as believers, we must activate faith over fear.
God is certainly in control of our lives.
Though we may not know what tomorrow holds, God already sees tomorrow and His mighty hand is working things together for our good.
His Name is Jehovah Jireh, which means “God sees.”
His eyes run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on the behalf of them whose hearts are perfect towards Him. [2 Chronicles 16:9]
Certainly, His all-seeing eyes are watching over us, therefore we never need to fear.

When there was a storm and the disciples awoke Jesus, saying, “Lord save us, or we’re going to perish”. Jesus said to them, “Why are you fearful”?
Jesus knew about the storm before He announced that they were crossing over to the other side.
Likewise Jesus knew about the events of this year before He gave us promises of victory.
As long as Peter focused on Jesus, he could walk on the water, but the moment he began to focus on the storm, he began to sink.
Our victory in this season will be determined by our focus. We must therefore keep our eyes on Jesus.
Despite the pandemic, politics, economics, global concerns, etc; we must focus totally on God’s Word.
Exposing yourself to the wrong media can breed fear. This is why you have to be careful the things you listen to. Just as faith comes by hearing The Word of God, fear comes from hearing the words of men.

The Word of God infuses us with the faith to believe that we can do all things through Christ. Through the Word, we are able to behold the wondrous things God has in store for us.
Therefore, while the world may be saying there is a casting down, we can boldly declare there is a lifting up for us.
Certainly, by the liberating force of God’s Word, we shall be marching forward in this month to see the miracles, signs and wonders God has ordained for us.

PRAYER: Lord, I know You have so much in store for me, please enable me to meditate constantly on Your Word so that my eyes can be opened to behold Your wondrous plans for me. Thank You Lord for causing me to triumph always in Jesus Name. ..

It is amazing that the “fastest-growing church” in the world today is in Iran. This is indeed inexplicable because Iran is a strictly Islamic nation, well known for exporting terrorism.

However, according to a new survey by GAMAAN, a Netherlands-based research group, the number of Christians in Iran, are now running into millions.
Rapid church growth in Iran began in 2004, when the Iranian government put pressure on officially registered churches, forcing them to go underground where they spread like wildfire through cell groups and house churches.
Also the Gospel has been spreading through
Christian programs being beamed into Iran by Satellite TV, which is reaching the private living rooms of families that otherwise may never have heard the Gospel.
People from all segments of society are now following Christ. Former hardline Islamic Mullahs, university professors, lawyers, taxi drivers and street vendors are all coming to Christ.
Statistics show that more Iranians have come to faith in Jesus in the last 20 years than in the past 1,300 years.

A new film documentary titled ‘Sheep Among Wolves’ tells the story of these mass Iranian conversion to Christianity.
The film produced by Frontier Alliance International Studios, calls this phenomenon “the Iranian awakening.”

This quiet but rapidly growing Christian movement, owns no property, no buildings, no central leadership, and is predominantly led by women.
Though these new believers know the great risk to their lives if caught, yet, they are pressing forward with the Gospel. Due to their relentless efforts, the Church in Iran is now exploding in numbers.

Certainly Christ is building His Church and the gates of hell cannot prevail against it.
In Isaiah 2:2, God says that in the last days, His House will have prominence and dominion, it will be built on top of the mountains and all nations will flow into it.
This is what is happening now.

Despite, various persecutions in many nations, the Church continues to thrive and multiply in fulfillment of God’s Word.
Indeed the Word of God abides true forever. Nothing and no one is able to thwart the manifestation of God’s Word.

The infallibility of God’s Word also assures us that despite the conditions in the world today, just like the Church’s progress, nothing can stop our growth and increase.
As members of the Body of Christ, we are indeed unstoppable.
Despite persecutions, pandemics, bad economy etc, the prophetic force of God’s Word is moving us into a season of wonder. It is certainly our time to see supernatural progress and inexplicable advancement.
Indeed in these end-times, it is God’s plan to move His people forward. We are in the golden era of the Church, which is our era of dominion.
We should therefore endeavor to carefully follow God’s Word and abide under the glory cloud, as He moves the Church forward.
Don’t be left behind, because the Israelites who lagged behind during the Exodus ended up being attacked by the Amalekites.
Therefore, you can’t afford to walk outside of God’s will at this time, so as not to fall prey to the enemy.
Through daily prayers, diligent study of Scriptures, and worship, let us constantly listen and obey what the Spirit of God is saying.

God is moving powerfully upon the earth. Heaven is releasing speed, grace and favor upon believers to move us into our preordained place of prominence.
In this month of March, it is certainly our time to march into new and greater things. It is our month of progress, therefore every hindrance, resistance and delay is defeated permanently by the Blood of Jesus.
It is also the third month signifying resurrection. Therefore in our businesses, finances, career, health, family; anything stagnant or dormant must jerk back to life.
In this month, the resurrection power in the Blood will address every dead situation and lack of progress. By the Blood of Jesus, the gates of hell shall never prevail against us. Certainly, it is our time to see signs and wonders, it is our season to see miracles and breakthroughs.
Today, through the Blood of Jesus, we are marching into miracles of increase, expansion, supernatural growth and speedy advancement .

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You that By the blood of Jesus every form of stagnancy has been destroyed in my life. Thank You Lord for the blessings of Your prophetic Word that is moving me into supernatural growth and unending victories in Jesus Name.
