One of the greatest evangelists of the 19th Century was Dwight L. Moody.

The amazing thing about D.L. Moody is the fact that he was a lay evangelist who had no formal theological training and had very little education. Yet he was mightily used by God to affect his generation.

He founded the Moody Church, the Northfield School and Mount Hermon School in Massachusetts. He also founded the Moody Bible Institute and Moody Publishers.

D.L Moody often held mass revivals where the power of God was greatly displayed.
He preached “the old-fashioned Gospel,” emphasizing a literal interpretation of the Bible.

He chose to totally believe all of God’s Word and preached it unapologetically.
He was especially influenced by Henry Moorhouse, the well-known British Bible teacher who once advised Moody, “If you will stop preaching your own words and preach God’s Word, He will make you a power for good. ”

From that point on, Moody determined to be a preacher of the raw Word of God.
One of the key themes he often preached was the power in the Blood of Jesus.

However his belief in the efficacy of the Blood of Jesus did not go down well with some people.
A woman once wrote him a letter and said, “Brother Moody, if you want to be effective, you are going to have to leave out that blood stuff.”

However, opposition to the preaching of the Blood only seemed to make Moody more determined to preach more on it.
No criticism could sway or stop his belief in the power and efficacy of the Blood to save, heal and deliver.

D. L. Moody in his life and preaching remained fully surrendered to God’s will and followed His Word.
As a result God used him mightily in an impactful ministry that greatly affected the world.

Why the enemy is concerned about the preaching of the Blood of Jesus is because it is one weapon he has no answer or solution to.
Since the enemy has no defense against the weapon of The Blood, he tries to stop believers from knowing the power that lies therein.
But when we understand the worth of the Blood, and invoke it in battle, then we can always overcome the enemy and silence every opposition.

In spiritual battles, we gain swift victory when we confront the enemy with the mystery of the Blood of Jesus Christ.
It is by the Blood that our rest from every oppression is secured.

As we invoke the Blood, no evil is permitted to touch us, nor any plague come near our dwelling place.

Exodus 12:13 says ‘when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.’

Once the mark of the blood is upon our lives, every trouble, problems and evil harassment must stay away from us. Truly, the weapon of the Blood is our winning ticket in life.
The Blood will always establish our deliverance from every bondage and oppression.

When the children of Israel were terribly oppressed by pharaoh, in promising them deliverance God said in Exodus 11:1 ‘Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go hence: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out hence altogether.’

After the mystery of the Blood was applied, the siege of captivity over the Israelites was broken.
In the same way, when you invoke the Blood of Jesus against every captivity and oppression, your deliverance is guaranteed.
Indeed the enemy has no defense against the weapon of the Blood.
Therefore let us continually engage the Blood weapon to establish our victory in every battle…

PRAYER: Lord, please grant me a deeper understanding of the power in the Blood of Jesus. As I begin to invoke the power in the Blood against every oppression, I thank You Lord for granting me total victory in Jesus Name.

Majority of great missionaries had humble and obscure beginnings and struggles with poverty. However the story of Charles T. Studd is an exception. He was born to a very wealthy father, had a privileged upbringing and attended the best schools.
When Charles T. Studd was only sixteen years of age and a student of Eton College, he became outstanding in the game of cricket.
He began to pursue a career in this sport and later became a celebrated cricketer. He mingled with the rich and famous and enjoyed the best things money could buy.

However, by this time, his father who had become born again also sought for his sons to know Christ personally.
Initially, Charles T. Studd resisted the Gospel because he idolized the game of Cricket. But, eventually he gave it all up to follow Christ. He dedicated his life to the service of God and travelled to China to serve as a missionary on 5th February, 1885.
Concerning his new caeer as a missionary, he would later write “I cannot tell you what joy it gave me to bring the first soul to the Lord Jesus Christ. I have tasted almost all the pleasures that this world can give. I do not suppose there is one that I have not experienced, but I can tell you that those pleasures were as nothing compared to the joy that the saving of that one soul gave me.”.

Charles T. Studd later expanded his missionary endeavors to other mission fields including Africa. He gave gladly of his health and his wealth for winning lost souls to Christ.
After many fruitful years of service, as he drew close to the end of his life, C. T. Studd would often look back and rejoice at the choice he made..He was glad that he had spent his life in serving God rather than pursuing fame and wealth through playing cricket.

He died on July 16, 1931 at his mission station in Africa. His funeral was attended by thousands of the native black people whose lives had been impacted through his ministry.
Indeed his life had made a far greater impact in the rugged mission fields as he brought many heathen to the saving knowledge of Christ.

Life is not meant to be spent running after what pleases us, but rather in pursuing what pleases God.
How well we follow God’s purpose, not ours, is what matters most in eternity.

Our focus should be on laying up Heavenly treasures rather than earthly treasures.
Even the wealthiest men today will one day leave all their wealth behind and depart to give account of their lives to God. What sense does it then make for a man to spend his entire life pursuing temporary wealth that he will leave behind, while ignoring God’s call which determines his placement in eternity.

Certainly, we need to get our priorities right.
What matters most in life is what we do for the promotion and expansion of God’s Kingdom.

This should be our focus especially in these end times.
The truth is that time is fast running out on earth.
It’s important that we begin to evaluate our priorities and ensure we are pursuing God’s purpose first.
We can no longer afford to keep wasting time, running after frivolities and things that lack eternal value.
We should leave behind things that do not matter and begin pressing forward, towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus [Philippians 3:13].

Pursuit of earthly treasures and pleasures is temporary, but our investment in eternal treasures will last forever.

Therefore, today let us renew our commitment to set our hearts on the spiritual and eternal things.
Let us invest more in building up a life of great spiritual depth though prayer, study of God’s Word, fellowship with the Spirit and service in God’s Kingdom.

Certainly, as we seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, every good thing in life shall be added unto us.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for the grace to always make You top priority in my life. Please help me to maintain a lifestyle of spiritual fervency and tireless pursuit of Your calling upon my life. Certainly as I seek You first, every good thing of life shall be added unto me in Jesus’ Name.

DAILY READING ; 2 Corinthians 12; 2 Kings 26; Habakkuk 3

In early 2013, in Russia, there were predictions and much media publicity of the close approach of a large asteroid expected on 15th February 2013.
NASA and the relevant aeronautical agencies were placed on high alert over this coming occurrence.
However, 16 hours before this expected asteroid, another unforseen, unpredicted, undetected catastrophic event occurred.

A meteor that no one knew was approaching suddenly entered the Earth’s atmosphere over Russia on that same day. This meteor was different from what scientists had been predicting.
It was totally undetected before its entry and took the aeronautical agencies by surprise.

The city of Chelyabinsk in Russia was suddenly hit with the explosion of this meteor which created panic among the local residents.

The light from this meteor was so bright that it was visible up to 100 km away and could be seen even in neighbouring republics.
The meteor’s explosion generated a hot cloud of dust and gas that penetrated up to 26.2 km away. The energy it released was equivalent to that of about 26 atomic bombs.
About 7,200 buildings in six cities across the region were damaged by the explosion’s shock waves.

However, the amazing thing was that while the relevant agencies were all totally unprepared for this emergency, God took absolute control of the situation.
Miraculously, not one person was killled, despite the fact that the explosion heavily damaged the city. Though, about 1,500 people were injured, all of the injuries were due to indirect effects such as broken glass from vibrating windows due to the shock waves. No one person at all was injured directly by the meteor.

The suddeness of this meteor’s explosion was indeed a rude wake-up call to scientists. It showed their inability to fully predict or control events in outer space.

Certainly, only God is in full control of the universe.
And His continual divine protection over the earth is an amazing wonder.
It is a miracle, that with millions of space rocks flying about in the solar system, none has yet destroyed major cities or even wiped out humanity.
God is certainly in perfect control of every occurrence in the universe. Every asteroid, every comet, every meteoroid, is controlled by the power of His Word.

In Isaiah 48:13 God says ‘Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together’

Certainly, all of creation stands in awe of God.
God upholds all things by the Power of His Word..
He alone has authority and dominion over all nations, and over all people.

1 Chronicles 29:11 says “Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all.”

Indeed God reigns supreme over all creation. Daniel 2 tells us that God removes and sets up kings. He is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and gives the throne to whosoever He wishes.

Most importantly this God that rules the universe is our Father. The same hand that control the universe is the hand that holds our destinies.
This is why we should not fret or bother over life’s challenges or confrontations.
Certainly, Jehovah alone has the final say over our lives.
Salvation has ushered us into the realm of divine security where
we can abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
This is the redemptive prevelege Jesus purchased for us at Calvary.
No matter what goes on in the world, our lives and times are in God’s hands.

His divine protection over the earth is clear indication of His ability to protect our lives.
Not one hair can fall from our head without His permission.
The mark of the Blood of Jesus has indeed placed a “touch not” seal over our lives.

The God of wonders who is in perfect control of all creation also watches over our individual affairs.
Just as He displays His wonders in the universe, He is ever ready to manifest His wonders in our lives.

Understand therefore that there is nothing too hard for God to do in your life today. All you need is to keep your faith strong and remain obedient to His Words and certainly He will soon turn you into a sign and wonder to all.

PRAYER: Lord, I know that indeed You are in perfect control of my life and all that concerns me. Help me to be rightly positioned, through diligent study of Your Word, so that I can partake of the wonders You have laid up for me in Jesus Name..

Nicolaus Ludwig von Zinzendorf was one of the prominent Christian leaders of the 18th century.
Though he was born into Austrian royalty and noblity, yet he had a strict Christian upbringing.

Right from his childhood Nicolaus began to exhibit an unusual love for Christ. At age six, young Nicolaus would write love letters to Jesus, which he would post by climbing up to the castle tower and tossing them out the window, where they scattered around the courtyard.
During The Great Northern War, Swedish soldiers overran their town in 1706 and invaded their home. When these soldiers entered the room where young Nicolaus happened to be conducting his customary devotions, they were incredibly moved by the little boy’s prayers.

However as Nicolaus began to grow older, it seemed his early love and passion for Jesus began to wane.
In 1716, he enrolled in the University of Wittenberg, to study law. After graduating from the university, he took a trip throughout Europe to visit some of the cultural high-spots.
One day, while visiting an art museum he saw a portrait of Christ with the crown of thorns pressed down on his head and blood running down his face.
Beneath the portrait were the words, “I have done this for you; what have you done for me?”
As Nicolaus stood there looking at this painting of Jesus, something began to stir within him.
From that moment it seemed his early zeal and passion for Christ became renewed. He then took a definite decision to practically begin to serve Christ with his life.

Soon after that he bought an estate and founded a community of Christians who were zealous and passionate for Christ. This community of Christians called themselves “The Lord’s Watch”.
They became part of the Moravian Church and was best known for their unparalleled missionary zeal. Many of them travelled as missionaries to foreign lands, spreading the good news of the Gospel.
In 1727 this community started a round the clock “prayer watch” that lasted unbroken for 100 years.

The encounter with the Blood of Jesus that Nicolaus Zinzendorf had at that Art museum, not only transformed his life but also positively affected many lives around the world.

Indeed God wants us to be always full of passion and zeal for the Gospel.
Romans 12:11 says we are to be “fervent in spirit”. That means, literally, burning hot in the Spirit at all times.

However, though many Christians begin their race full of zeal, as time goes on, this fire gradually begins to wane.
It is God’s plan that we remain zealous in our love and commitment to Him.

In Matthew 22:36-40 Jesus said that the first and greatest commandment is to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind.
This means we must ever be passionate towards God.
Nothing matters more than that. Indeed our number one priority in life should be to love and serve God wholeheartedly.

Jesus died on the cross to raise a new breed of people who will love and serve God with unparalleled zeal.

Titus 2:14 says, “He gave himself for us to redeem us from all iniquity and to purify for himself a people of his own who are zealous for good deeds.”

The truth is that passion will die without constant inspiration. Therefore we need fresh encounters with God, so as to stay on fire and maintain our zeal.
This is why we must spend times of separation in God’s Presence, praying and studying the Word, until our fire is renewed.
We must also consciously come against those forces that try to resist our spiritual life. This we do through engaging the Blood of Jesus.
Through the power in the Blood, we can terminate every hold of spiritual stagnancy and laxity.

If you sense a form of dryness or loss of zeal in your spiritual life, then it is time to begin to engage the power in the Blood.
By the Blood, you can overcome everything trying to quench your spiritual fervency.

Jesus shed His blood to redeem us to become living wonders on earth, therefore we cannot continue to be stuck with living an average life spiritually. His Blood was shed to enable us live a life of impact, to move from obscurity to a place of influence and power.

Zechariah 9:11 says ‘As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.’

By the blood we are delivered from every pit of spiritual dryness.
The Blood of Jesus breaks every yoke of stagnation and lifts us to a place of relevance and power.
As we engage the power in the Blood today, surely, it will cleanse our lives and restore in our hearts fervent love and undying passion for God and His kingdom.

PRAYER: Lord, by the power in the Blood of Jesus, I receive today fresh fire and zeal to do Your will. Every spiritual stagnancy comes to an end in my life. Indeed by Your grace I will make a definite mark in my generation in Jesus Name ..

Since 2018, the concept of “theybies” has come to the limelight in America and Europe.
“Theybies” refer to young children being raised as neither boys nor girls by their parents. The word “theybies” is a combination of the neutral pronoun “they” and the word “baby”.

Because these parents would not have their children referred to as ‘he’ or ‘she’, they are given a neutral pronoun “they”.
These parents say they want for their children freedom from gender biases which might later affect their decision to change their gender when they grow older.  And so they are raising their children without assigning them any gender until the children can choose whether they want to be boys or be girls.
If their choice is different from the gender they are born with, they are helped to change to the gender of their choice through surgery.

In 2017, one of such children made the headlines by receiving the world’s first non-binary ID. This child received a Canadian health card with no “M” or “F” to indicate the gender but rather a “U” to indicate “unknown gender”.

This idea of giving children autonomy over their own identity and presentation is gaining ground. Even manufacturers of Children’s clothes and toys are beginning to adjust their products to reflect gender-neutrality for
“theybies”.
“Theybies’ will be allowed to dress and act the gender they feel like at the moment, until they can finally choose whether they want to identify themselves as boy or girls or anything in between.

With these developments in the world today, it is obvious we are truly living in the last days. Gradually, current culture is beginning to abolish traditional views and convictions and force the world into a “new normal”.

In different areas of life, the pressure is mounting in the society for people to wake up and embrace the world’s new ways.

However, despite these sweeping changes going on globally, we must continue to anchor ourselves on the solid truth of God’s Word.

As the gross darkness increases, God’s Word remains a lamp to our feet and light to our path.
The Scriptures written under divine inspiration, provides both reliable guidance and a sure hope for us in these last days.

God’s Word is absolute truth. Absolute truth is something that is true at all times and in all places. It is something that is always unchanging no matter the current circumstances.

Establishing this truth was the mission of Jesus into the world.

Before His crucifixion, Jesus stood before the Roman Governor Pontius Pilate and proclaimed “For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth.” [John 18:37-38].

In response to this statement Pilate asked Jesus “What Is Truth?”

The question was cynically posed because Pilate was not really interested in an answer, and Jesus did not give him one, because Pilate was not ready to hear the truth.

In the same today, the world is not ready to hear the truth.
They hold that truth—especially moral and spiritual truth—is not absolute but relative and ever changing. This, of course, implies that people can determine for themselves what is right and what is wrong.

However, we must never allow the lax mindset of the world to affect or reset our way of thinking.
In everything and in every situation, let us continue to stand by our Biblical beliefs and convictions.
No matter what goes on in the world, we must keep our lives anchored on the truth of God’s Word. That indeed is the key to our freedom from the shackles trying to bind this generation
Certainly, through the power in the Blood of Jesus, we can live above the deceptions of these last days. 

PRAYER: Father by the power in the Blood of Jesus, my family and I are shielded from the evils of these end-times. Please help us to always stand for the truth of Your Word and never be swayed by the ways of the world in Jesus Name.

Revelation 5:12 says ‘Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.’

DAILY READING 2 Corinthians 11; 2 Kings 25; Habakkuk 2.

Maria Woodworth-Etter was one of the most influential Pentecostal Evangelists of the early 1900s.
From a nobody, she was elevated by the power of God to great prominence in Church history.
She was converted at age thirteen and immediately became filled with such zeal that she attended as many as seven Church meetings a week and lost all interest in youthful amusement.
As she grew older, she heard the voice of Jesus calling her to go out in the highways and hedges and gather in the lost sheep.
However, Maria was reluctant to answer the call because she had never heard of any woman preaching. She then rationalized that if she got educated and got married, she might be accepted for missions work.

Soon Maria married Mr. Woodworth but was disappointed to find he wasn’t willing to work in the ministry. The mountain of circumstances against Maria made her almost to give up answering the call.
She didn’t know how she could start preaching. She was terrified with fear of talking before people. Her husband disallowed it and to further complicate matters, she had small children.
Eventually Maria lost five of her six children to sickness. She became so sick herself that she almost died many times. All the while, her thought was consumed by the relentless call to preach.

It became a battle for her life. One day, she told the Lord she needed preparation, a course of study in the bible, and then she would go to preach. The Lord responded by suddenly opening her eyes in a vision where she saw upon the wall a large open bible and the verses stood out in raised letters. She suddenly found herself filled with supernatural understanding and then Jesus said “Go and I will be with you.”

From that encounter, Maria received power from the Lord.
When Maria finally stood shakily to preach the first time, it was in the home of her husband’s family. As she opened her mouth to preach, to her surprise, the power of God swept through the room, leaving many of the hearers in tears, with many falling to the ground.
That marked the beginning of her ministry. As Maria began to receive more invitations to preach, news spread of her powerful meetings and the unusual manifestations of signs and wonders.

Maria Woodworth Ether was used by God to raise a global ministry that greatly affected her generation and continues to affect many lives even today.

Though Maria seemed to have all the odds against her, she rose by God’s power. Indeed an encounter with the power of God will bring total transformation to our lives. It doesn’t matter our background, gender, educational qualification or financial status; the power of God makes the ultimate difference.
When God’s power begins to work in you, everyone and everything in your environment will take note of you.
This is why as believers, we should make seeking the power of God priority in our lives. Power is what meets the spiritual needs of mankind and overcomes the forces of the enemy.
It is through the exercise of great power that we will be distinguished in life and ministry.

At the cross, Jesus paid a great price to ensure that we received the power to live in dominion on the earth.

Revelation 5:12 says ‘Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.’

Jesus died to receive all of these gifts for us so that we might live in victory.
Therefore, by the power of Jesus’ resurrection, we are not permitted to live an ordinary life. His resurrection has translated us from the natural realm to the supernatural.
We can no longer afford to live like ordinary men.
Jesus conquered sin and death and arose from the grave so that we can live a new life of power.

We have been buried and raised together with Him, and made to sit with Him in heavenly places, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion.
As children of God, we are ordained to be carriers of His power on the earth. His power is ultimate and unchallengeable.
Jesus came out of the grave and said, ‘All’ powers in heaven and on earth had been given to him (Matthew 28:18) so there is no other power but the power of God.

Understand therefore today that you have all it takes to dominate over every negative situation and circumstance around you.
You have the power to rise above every challenge and live in victory.
Jesus suffered on that cross so that we don’t have to suffer again. The ultimate purpose of His resurrection is to enforce a supernatural change of position in our lives and turn us into living wonders to the world.
Through His death we have been lifted from the low places to our high places in life. We have been lifted from sickness to health, from poverty to riches and from weakness to strength.

Therefore it doesn’t matter your situation today, as you diligently seek God’s power through a lifestyle of study of the Word and prayers, you will certainly experience divine elevation and powerfully fulfill God’s call upon your life.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for Your Power available to me through the price You paid at the cross. Today, by Your grace I am leaving behind every defeat and negative condition around me and arising to my high places in life in Jesus Name.

Colossians 2:14 ‘Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.’

DAILY READING – 2 Corinthians 10; 2 Kings 23:36-24:20; Habakkuk 1

Crucifixion was intended to be a gruesome spectacle: the most painful and humiliating death imaginable. It was used to punish slaves, pirates, and enemies of the state.
It was a method of capital punishment in which the victim was tied or nailed to a large wooden beam and left to hang perhaps for several days, until eventual death from exhaustion and asphyxiation.
Crucifixion has been used in parts of the world as recently as the twentieth century.
Alexander the Great is reputed to have crucified 2,000 survivors from his siege of the Phoenician city of Tyre.
Crucifixion was also used as a punishment by the Romans. It was most often performed to dissuade its witnesses from perpetrating similar crimes.
Victims were sometimes left on display after death as a warning to any other potential criminals.
According to the Roman custom, if a man was being crucified, they would put on that cross whatever that individual had done.
At the time of Jesus Christ’s crucifixion the Romans nailed to the cross an inscription that He was ” king of the Jews” —it was the false charge of treason against Rome for which He was executed.

But the scriptures tell us that something else was nailed to the cross. ” The handwriting of ordinances that was against us.” This ‘handwriting of ordinances’ means in legal matters a record of indebtedness or the record of charges which stood against us. These charges were against us for disobeying God’s law. But when Jesus paid the price, God canceled the note of indebtedness by taking it and fixing it to the cross.

And so when Jesus said ‘It is finished!’ It means the debt has been paid in full. We have been set free from every indebtedness. God has forgiven us the debt we owed. The curse that was upon man for disobeying God’s law has now been taken out of the way and nailed to the cross.
It therefore means that every sickness, poverty, and everything else contrary to our destiny were nailed to the cross, indicating an end to them. And as affliction cannot arise a second time such things can never rise again to torment you, as long as you abide in Christ!
Through His death, Jesus blotted out all that has been written against you medically in hospitals. He also blotted out all the writings of soothsayers and occultic forces. He has blotted out all the handwriting against your marital destiny, against your finances, and against your family. Whatever has been against your general wellbeing, has been nailed to the cross.

If Jesus hung on the tree for you, no sickness, poverty or misfortune can hang on you anymore. The devil cannot hold you captive any longer. You’re free indeed! As long as you serve the Lord you are entitled to liberty. Freedom from oppression is your heritage in God and your birthright in Christ.

Our transformed lives are the proof that Jesus rose again. Wherever we go, there should be a ceaseless song of victory in our mouth, because Christ has set us free.

Jesus has delivered us from every yoke of bondage. Every negative speaking against our destiny has been silenced by the speakings of His Blood. Every tongue that shall arise against us in judgment has been condemned by His Blood.

Therefore anyone who mentions our name for evil anywhere the blood will arise and answer them. Every evil writings against our destiny are blotted out by the Blood of Jesus. By the blood of Jesus, you have guaranteed peace with God in all areas of life.
Indeed through the Blood we have emerged as the all-round winners in all conflicts of life.

Charles Fox Parham is often referred to as the “Father of Modern Day Pentecostalism” because of his enormous impact on the development of Pentecostal faith in America. He is also the founder of the Apostolic Faith Movement.
Parham was a man of great faith, who had an outstanding love for God.
He ran a Bible school where he always trusted God to provide the needed financial support. In the school, there were no charges for board or tuition yet the poor students were fed, housed and taken care of.
The school freely welcomed all ministers and Christians. But it was a faith venture, where each student trusted God for their provision. Despite the great financial burden, God always miraculously provided for the ministry and they suffered no lack.
Once, after a hard day of ministering, Parham realized the rent for their building was due the next morning and he didn’t have the money to meet it. Tired and weary, he looked to the sky and told the Lord that he must have rest and that he knew God wouldn’t fail him in providing the rent.
The next morning, a man showed up and told Parham “I was suddenly awakened with the thought of you and your work; no sleep came to me until I promised to bring you this.” He handed over to Parham the exact sum needed for the rent.
Another time, Parham only had a partial sum to pay on a bill that was due. So he set out to the bank to pay what he had and while on the way, he passed an acquaintance who handed him some money. When Parham got to the bank, he found the money was the exact amount he needed to pay the bill in full.

While these stories may sound incredible, like Parham, when we sincerely serve God and put our trust in Him we will see His miracles in our finances, health, family and all other areas.

We must understand that serving God is a covenant.
God has not called the sons of Jacob to seek Him in vain. He is the rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

Exodus 23:25 says ‘Ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. ‘

God’s wonders and miraculous provisions are reserved for those who love and serve Him.

1Cor. 2:9 says “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him”.

God has great and amazing things laid up for those who genuinely love Him. This was exemplified in the life of King Solomon. The secret to all of Solomon’s wealth and exploits was because he loved the Lord. Loving God and obeying His commandments positions us into realms of abundance forever.

Psalms 112:1-3 says ‘Blessed is the man that fears the Lord and delight greatly in God’s commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: his generation shall be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness shall endureth forever.’

The reward of our service continues to many generations after us.
Today, through the Blood of Jesus, we are still enjoying the blessings of Abraham, thousands of years after his faithful service to God.
Indeed our love for God and our service in His Kingdom, is key to all that we need in life.

Job 36:11 says ‘If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.’

Seeking God and His kingdom first has to be the priority in our lives if we are to see His wonders.
Indeed the place of God in our heart determines our placing upon the earth.
When the foundation of the love of God is in place, then other things will be added to us.
You cannot love God and end up a loser. Every lover of God is a star in the making. Every lover of God is highly favored and ends up as a pacesetter.
God is no respecter of persons but is rich unto all who call upon Him. As we love God wholeheartedly and obey Him, certainly we will enjoy His amazing provisions and experience His wonders without number in every area of our lives.

PRAYER: Lord, please I need the fresh anointing of love for You in my life. Please help me to make You priority in all that I do. May my heart always pant after You and the affairs of Your Kingdom in Jesus Name.

In his 1996 book ‘Gifted Hands’, Dr. Ben Carson shared how his mother was instrumental in his rise to a world renowned neurosurgeon.
His mother, Sonya Robinson Carson, was a single mother with little formal education, yet she is credited with being the molding influence on one of the world’s greatest doctors.
Though born into a dysfunctional family and raised in deep poverty, Ben Carson overcame the odds with the help of his mother who chose to believe God for incredible things.
Ben Carson was only eight years old when his father left his mother. Sonya, who had only a third-grade education, was faced with the daunting task of raising her sons Ben and Curtis by herself. She worked as a maid, sometimes holding two or even three jobs to support her family.
Sonya would patch clothes from the Goodwill in order to dress her boys. They would go to local farmers and offer to pick vegetables in exchange for a portion of the fruits which Sonya used for her boys’ meals.
Their family’s poverty often made Ben the butt of cruel taunts from his classmates.
A further source of frustration in Ben’s life was his poor performance as a student.
He fell behind in studies and was considered the ‘dummy’ of the class.
To address this, his mother quickly limited her sons’ television viewing and required them to read two books a week. The boys then had to give written reports to their mother on what they read. While other children were outside playing, Sonya Carson forced her boys to stay inside and read.
Because of her own limited education, Sonya could not read or write, but she was determined to give her sons a better life and so placed great emphasis on their education. Her actions, proved to be a tremendous influence on them.
Before long, Ben moved from the bottom of the class to receiving academic honors and eventually attending medical school. As a doctor, he became director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital at age 33. There, he soon became famous for his groundbreaking work separating conjoined twins.
He later moved into politics, was an American presidential candidate and remains a highly respected world figure today.

By human estimation an uneducated poor black woman with a low income job is not in the best position to raise a world acclaimed neurosurgeon. But that is what happens when God is in your corner. Through divine help, you can break all limits and do the incredible.
As believers, we are born to be wonders to the world.
Every redeemed soul is a potential star.
In Revelation 22:16 Jesus declared ‘I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star’
So, if Jesus came as the bright and morning star, then we are ordained to be stars on the earth.

We have been redeemed by the Blood to enjoy the blessing of Abraham.
Galatians 3:29 says ‘And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise ‘.
We are born after the order of Abraham and ordained to greatly impact our generation.
It is our redemptive heritage to be the head and never the tail; above only and never beneath.
Jesus paid the price at the cross for Abraham’s blessings to become ours. Therefore we have all it takes to be trailblazers and pacesetters. We are the salt of the earth and the light of the world, a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden.
Through redemption we are positioned for success. It doesn’t matter the odds against you or how impossible your situation, the price for your elevation has been paid by the Blood.
Though you may sometimes feel weak, overwhelmed or overburdened by life’s situations always remember that you are born of God and whoever is born of God overcomes the world.

Indeed we are overcomers by the Blood of Jesus. Therefore don’t ever bow to the winds of opposition. Don’t ever cooperate with your problem by giving up. As a child of God, defeat should never be part of your vocabulary. Failure should never be part of your options. This is because you serve the God who never fails and He is committed to always giving you the victory.

So don’t be discouraged, no matter how tough things may seem, always trust God to make a way for you.
Through God’s help you can arise above the limits and attain any height in life. If you feel unqualified, remember that God uses people who were broken, battered, tattered and torn to do incredible things. He uses the weak to confound the wise.
Just keep focusing on the Word and keep believing God for great things. Certainly, as you maintain strong faith in God, you shall soon become a wonder to all.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for Your great faithfulness in my life. By Your grace I shall never settle for less than Your best for my life. Thank You Lord for enabling me to soon become a wonder to all in Jesus Name.

Alexander the Great was an ancient Macedonian ruler and one of history’s greatest military minds. As King of Macedonia and Persia, he established the largest empire the ancient world had ever seen.

His reign began in 336 B.C., when his father who was the king of Macedonia was assassinated by a bodyguard. Though only 20 years old,
Alexander immediately claimed the throne and killed his rivals before they could challenge his sovereignty.
Alexander was charismatic, ruthless, brilliant and power hungry. He inspired such loyalty in his men that they followed him anywhere and were ready to die for him.

Though Alexander ruled for only 12 years, yet his influence on Greek and Asian culture was so profound that it inspired a new historical epoch—the Hellenistic Period.
By the time he was 32 years old, Alexander had conquered an empire stretching from the Balkans to modern Pakistan.
He was poised on the edge of another invasion when he fell ill around 323 B.C.
It was said he searched desperately for a legendary river that was supposed to heal all sicknesses, yet he could not find a cure. He eventually died after days of excruciating suffering.
Some historians say Alexander died of malaria or other natural causes; others believe he was poisoned by some of his rivals.

Despite his vast conquest of the ancient world, Alexander the great could not conquer disease. After surviving battle after fierce battle, the young warrior succumbed to the hands of sickness and died in June 323 B.C at age 32.

Like Alexander, there have been many great and influential men whose lives were snuffed out in their prime due to diseases..
Though powerful and wealthy, these men had no defense against the ravages of sickness.

Today, despite the trillions of dollars invested by the rich in eradicating diseases, there is still not a permanent solution.

However, as believers, we have access to total health and divine healing from all diseases through the Blood of Jesus.
The Blood of Jesus is the divine provision for our freedom from all sickness and satanic oppression.
It is true that we live in a wicked world where evil arrows fly about in forms of sickness and evil attacks. However in the mist of all these evil, we have the promise of divine preservation through the Blood.

No matter the medical or scientific explanation, the root cause of every disease is spiritual. And the solution and permanent cure is the Blood of Jesus. There is power in the Blood of Jesus to both heal and deliver us from every negative condition of life.
Jesus paid a great price at Calvary to ensure that nothing and no one cuts short our lives and our destinies prematurely..

However it takes spiritual understanding for us to appropriate the full benefits of our redemptive package.
Ignorance is what makes people to become cheap victims.
God has sent His Word to heal us and deliver us from destructions, but people perish due to lack of knowledge.

Our heights in life is a function of our depths in the Word.
From the Scriptures we understand that Redemption has re-positioned us for eternal victory over every afflictions of life. Therefore what afflicts others cannot afflict us.
At the Crucifixion Jesus was given 39 lashes on His back. Today, every disease – including those newly and recently discovered, fit into the 39 categories. What this means is that every disease known to man was represented in the 39 stripes that Jesus bore.

Isaiah 53:5 says that we are healed by His Stripes.

The bible does not say you are going to be healed. It says; you are already healed! In other words your healing is present and permanent. The circumstances and diagnoses notwithstanding, God’s Word says you have already been healed!! Therefore we must determine to believe the report of The Lord instead of the report of the lab.

Jesus died young that we might live long. His blood was shed so that our blood will never be shed.
But it takes spiritual understanding to live in the reality of the victory Christ has won…

Indeed the sacrifice of Jesus cannot be in vain in our lives. The price has been paid and we now have all it takes to live in power, dominion and total victory on the earth.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You that by the mystery of the Blood covenant it is my season to experience unending wonders. I receive today the grace for in-depth study of Scriptures so that I can gain access into the full benefits of the victory Christ purchased for me in Jesus Name.
