To mark International Holocaust Remembrance Day in Israel in 2018, a special event took place on January 27th.
On Jerusalem’s Mount Zion, a plaque was unveiled in honor of Oskar Schindler. He was a German responsible for saving 1,200 Jews during the Holocaust.
The plaque read: “The unforgettable rescuer of 1,200 persecuted Jews,” and is located underneath the biblical quote “the voice of your brother’s blood cries out.”

Indeed the blood of many jews cried out during World war 2, when Adolf Hitler murdered about 6 million Jews.
In 1939, Oskar Schindler, a Christian businessman, bought an enamelware factory and began to employ Jewish workers as a way of helping them to escape. Schindler went to great lengths to ensure his workers were protected. He repeatedly gave money to German soldiers, to prevent them from deporting his workers to extermination camps.
His workers lived within the walls of his factory to avoid being arrested. Later, Schindler convinced the Nazis to convert his factory into a branch of Plaszow concentration camp, and brought in more Jews from other camps as well, protecting them from the brutality of the holocaust.
With all the money invested in his efforts to save the Jews, by the war’s end, Schindler was penniless. But he had managed to save the lives of 1,200 Jews.
Today, he has been recognized posthumously with many international awards and is especially celebrated in Israel.
His story is captured in the blockbuster movie, ‘Schindler’s list’.

Indeed it is better to be a ‘people millionaire’ than to be a ‘paper millionaire’.
Oskar Schindler was not the only rich Christian in Germany during the holocaust. The other millionaires who refused to assist with their money but looked away as the Jews perished, no one remembers their names today. But the name of Oskar Schindler continues to resonate throughout history.

Our resources are not to be hoarded but to be used to serve God and help humanity.

God has designed us to make a difference in the world, one life at a time.
The world is full of hurting people, even in the Church. They need someone to reach out in love. Love is practical, it is what we do.

James 2:15-16, says ‘If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?’

We need to reach out to others in love, especially those who are of the household of faith. Let us not love in words, but in deeds. Let us be physical manifestations of Jesus to our world.
Jesus needs a body through which to love people today and it is our choice to allow Him to flow through us to bless humanity.

God uses our arms to hug and our voices to encourage and our hands to touch.
Many people right now are praying for a miracle. We can be an answer to that prayer. No matter where you are or what challenges you’re facing, you can look beyond your needs and allow God use you to bring succor to others.
The truth is that our destiny is connected to helping others.

When we sow into people’s lives, those seeds bring the multiplications and harvest that catapults us to higher levels.
Indeed when you water others you will be watered also. When you live to give, you will never lack God’s blessings.

PRAYER: Lord, Please help me to look beyond my own needs and seek rather for ways to be a blessing to others. As I do, I thank You for overflowing my life with Your blessings in Jesus Name..

Smith Wigglesworth was a British evangelist and important leader in early Pentecostalism. Though he was an illiterate plumber, he was mightily used by God.
Smith Wigglesworth was born in 1859. The year of his birth was at the height of the popular Dickensian character ‘Oliver Twist’.
This was the time when poverty plagued many homes in England and Smith was born into abject poverty. Though his parents were unsaved, his grandmother, a Wesleyan, encouraged him to serve God. At eight years of age, one day while in Church, Smith felt the touch of God and surrendered his life to Christ. His mother became his first convert.
At that young age, Smith felt the call of God. He became grounded in Bible teaching by the Plymouth Brethren. He marched with the Salvation Army, learning to win souls in the open air.
He thought perhaps there would be an immediate manifestation of God’s call on him. But after many years of fervent Christian service, it seemed as if nothing significant was going to happen in his life. So he settled for a nominal Christian life while pursuing work as a plumber. But in his mid-forties, God orchestrated events that would catapult him into a world acclaimed ministry.
His ministry exploded in such miracles and wonders as seldom has been seen since the days of the apostles. Over 23 dead were raised through his ministry, and many healed by the mighty power of God. Smith Wigglesworth ended up as one of the most anointed men of God that ever lived.

Indeed God is always faithful!
Delays are not denials. When you have been called by God and it seems as if it is taking a long while for that call to fully manifest, you must wait for the Lord’s timing.
Keep serving faithfully because God has not forgotten your labour of love. Keep sowing good seeds, because your time of reaping is coming and in due season you shall reap if you faint not.

Do not get impatient or weary if you are not immediately getting the result you desire, keep sowing the seed required of you because harvest is coming, only he that endures to the end will reap, if he faint not.
Those who enjoy multiplied blessings from God are those who go all the way with Him. Therefore in whatever capacity you are serving God, make up your mind to go all the way, and not stop halfway.
Jesus said he that puts his hand to the plough and looks back is not worthy of His kingdom. So do not get weary or give up midway, no matter the level of discouragement you may face. Because there is an appointed time for your reward and if you are not willing to go all the way you may not see fully what God has in store for you. .
When Joseph had the dream and saw his brothers’ sheaves bowing to his, it was a vision of what his future would be. He knew he would one day reign over his brethren but what he didn’t know was that it would take quite a number of years before the dream would come to fruition.

Whatever dream or vision God has given to you, trust that it will come to pass in His time. God is not man that He should lie, neither the son of man that He should repent. His promises are always sure. If you know of a certainty He has spoken to you then hold on to His Word. Do not be discouraged by the passage of time, or the circumstances around you. God will fulfill His promise to you in due time. . Just keep prepared through diligent study of the Word, prayers and fellowship with the Spirit. Surely as you walking in obedience trusting God all the way, the faithful One that called you, will soon do what He has said He will do.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to follow patiently the path You have set before me. Help me to maintain my spiritual fire and to keep trusting You until I see the full manifestation of Your promises in Jesus Name.

Reinhard Bonnke was very young when he received the call of God to preach in Africa. Greatly hungering for the anointing and power to do the work, he left Germany to study at the Bible College of Wales in Swansea.
After his studies, in January 1962, the 22 year old Bonnke was on his way back to Germany. While passing through London, he came across a house with a nameplate on the front that said “George Jeffreys”.
George Jeffreys used to a firebrand evangelist who founded the Elim Pentecostal churches in Ireland and England.
Wondering if it could be the same person, Bonnke stopped and rang the doorbell. The lady who opened the door confirmed that it was the home of the famous George Jeffreys, but blatantly refused Bonnke’s entrance to see him. However, at that moment Bonnke heard a deep voice from within the house say, ‘Let the young man come in.’
As Bonnke stepped into the house, he saw the frail and old evangelist who had been sick for some years.
Bonnke took his hand and introduced himself and told him of the call of God upon his life to preach in Africa.
What happened next was extraordinary. All of a sudden, the old evangelist took him by the shoulders and fell to his knees, pulling Bonnke to the floor with him. He placed his hands on Bonnke’s head and began to release deep blessings on him.
As he prayed, the room seemed to light up with the glory of God, as Bonnke’s body felt electrified, tingling with divine energy. After the prayers, they said goodbye and Bonnke returned to Germany.
By the next day, when Bonnke’s father came to pick him up from the train station, he broke the news to him that George Jeffreys had just died that morning.
The anointing imparted upon Reinhard Bonnke would speak volumes. He would preach the Gospel all over the world, and eventually led about 76 million people to Christ.
Few years before his own death, when he was 75 years old Bonnke said at a youth conference “I want to pass my baton on to someone who’s here.”
Just like George Jeffreys had done to him, Bonnke was looking for someone hungry enough to catch the fire and take it to the ends of the earth.

Spiritual mantles are real, but they are only reserved for those who are hungry enough and desperate enough to catch the fire.
A “spiritual mantle” is a calling, gift, passion, ability, anointing or level of authority that God gives to a specific person.
When our hearts desperately pant after God, He will see to it that we receive the anointing needed for the work He has called us to do.
Indeed God is committed to filling those who hunger and thirst after righteousness.

Mathew 5: 6 says ‘Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled.’

There are wonderful things to be had in the realm of the Spirit, but we must press in to where they are. The treasures of life are never on the surface but in the depths. There are mighty manifestations of power and glory, miracles signs and wonders, awaiting us when we pay the price to press into the depths.

As believers, we are the light of the world and kings are meant to come to the brightness of our rising.
However, this will come into manifestation when we pay the price, and press into the spiritual depth where the power of God awaits us.
To arrive at our glorious destiny, we must accept full spiritual responsibility of seeking God with all our heart until we find Him. [Jeremiah 29:13]
Our hearts must keep panting after God through diligent study of His Word, fervent prayers and passionate praise.
When we so desperately hunger after God, we will receive His anointing and power to do exploits in life and ministry.
Certainly, the place of God in our hearts will determine our placing upon the earth.

PRAYER:
Lord, Please help me to pay the spiritual price to fervently seek Your Power and Your Glory. I know that when I seek You and find You, there shall be a reward and my expectations shall not be cut off in Jesus Name.

John Wesley was an English clergyman and evangelist, who was a leader of a revival movement within the Church of England. He eventually founded the Methodist Church.
He was an acclaimed preacher, known as a mighty man of faith and prayer. Wesley always lived in view of eternity and was determined to declare the whole counsel of God, warning men of the dreadful consequences of rejecting the Gospel.
Consumed by the thought of the shortness of time, the great work to be done, and the need for haste in doing it, he worked hard to accomplish all he possibly could within his lifetime.
He marched through cities, preaching, teaching, pleading, and warning men to repent and make peace with God while there was still time.
Wesley was a constant traveler. He often walked twenty-five miles a day. One year he walked 1050 miles to preach in different Churches. In all, it is estimated he traveled 226,000 miles in his ministry and preached 46,000 times.
As Wesley preached, the power of God often came upon his listeners, and hundreds would fall under the power of the Spirit and many were healed of their infirmities.
Wesley was known for his lifestyle of fervent prayers. He would rise up at 4 am every day to seek God for the first four hours of the day. In his later years Wesley was known to spend up to 8 hours in prayer.
His room where he constantly prayed every morning came to be known as “The Powerhouse of Methodism’.
He always prayed with an open Bible, as he was always seeking a word from the Lord
Literally tens of millions of people are part of the Christian faith family because of the work of Wesley. He lived a life of great impact that continues to positively affect the world even today.

As children of God, we are ordained for global impact. We are destined to affect the world around us with the power of God.
Especially in these last days, as the signs of the end-times increase, it is God’s plan that we position ourselves to affect as many lives as possible for Christ.
The truth is that things are gradually coming to a climax on earth. And for every believer, it can no longer be Christianity as usual, we must do whatever is required to manifest the glory and power of God to impact the lives of men.
Indeed to overcome the gross darkness in the world, we must arise and shine with the light and glory of the Lord.
To this end, there is a need for us to grow spiritually because we can’t give what we don’t have. We must be revived before we can revive others. We must be on fire before we can ignite the world..
It is our degree of commitment in seeking God that will determine our level of manifestation of His power.
The more we feed on God’s Word and exercise through fervent prayers, the more we will grow spiritual muscles.
Let us therefore utilize the time we have to focus on the needed preparation for the manifestation of God’s glory in these end-times.
May we today, receive the grace for renewed fire on our prayer altar, diligent study of God’s Word and unbroken fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
Whatever we do, wherever we go, let us keep burning with the fire and fervency of the Gospel, shinning the light of Christ into the world to draw men into God’s kingdom. As we do this, God promises to establish us as stars that will shine forever.
Daniel 12:3 says ‘And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.’

Rene Martinez is a former gangster legend who became a Christian.
He grew up without a father and his mother got involved in witchcraft and used to sacrifice animals over Rene when he was a child. As a result of this, demons started haunting his life.
When Rene turned 12 years, the darkness inside him led him into a life of crime, which included breaking into homes, stealing guns and getting involved in drive-by shootings.
In 1990, he started a gang known as the Latin Syndicate.
They had about 300 members and always got in to problem with the police. In no time almost all his gang members were either dead or in prison.
Many times, Rene himself came face-to-face with death. One day, someone was trying to shoot him in the face, but the gun jammed and refused to fire. Another time a bullet grazed his head and yet another time a bullet whistled by his ear.
There were also times when rival gangs would attack his home, and shoot him severally as he ran through the backyard to escape. Though several bullets often hit him, yet he would somehow survive and live.
After a while his mother gave up witchcraft and began attending a Church where she accepted Christ as Lord and Savior. She then began to pray for her son, Rene.
One night in 2016, Rene had a dramatic spiritual experience where he encountered Jesus. He said Jesus told him He had been the One protecting and sparing his life. Jesus then gave him the choice to either serve God or the hedge of protection around him would be removed. At that point Martinez made the decision to follow Christ and later became born again.
From that moment there was a total transformation in his life. He began serving God diligently and eventually became a pastor. He went preaching in the same streets he used to terrorize and has today led many people to Christ.
His amazing story has been reported by many Christian media outlets including CBN and Charisma magazine.

Truly, there is wonder-working power in the precious Blood of Jesus. The power in His Blood is able to turn the vilest sinner into a new creature in Christ.
Saul, a murderer and chief of sinners was cleansed by the Blood and transformed into “Paul, an apostle of Christ”.
The thief on the cross through the power in the Blood was transformed from a condemned man into a saint headed for Paradise.
Indeed there is no soul so blackened that it cannot be cleansed by the power in the Blood. Jesus shed His blood to free man from every curse of sin and death.

The transformational power in the blood of Jesus is activated for our deliverance and restoration. By the blood of Jesus we have been delivered from every curse and hold of darkness. It doesn’t matter the kind of evil affliction or oppression the enemy may have attacked you with in the past, there is total deliverance available today through the Blood of Jesus.
The power in the Blood of Jesus is ordained for the supernatural restoration of our redemptive dignity.
By the Blood we are translated from the natural realm to the supernatural, from failure to breakthrough, from sickness to health, from death to life, from weakness to power.
Indeed through the Blood we are raised out of the waterless pit and made to sit with Christ in heavenly places.
Today, in whatever area you may feel afflicted or oppressed, you can be free through engaging the transformational power of the Blood. Every hold of sickness, evil habits, poverty etc can indeed be shattered.
It doesn’t matter how terrible your past experiences may have been, through the power in the Blood, you can experience a change of story. Indeed through the Blood of Jesus, we are revived to live a life of glory and to experience continual miracles, signs and wonders.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for the transformational power in the Blood of Jesus. I know indeed that by the Blood of Jesus I have been delivered from every hold of darkness and set free to live a life of signs and wonders in Jesus Name.

Ecclesiastes 10:15 ‘The labor of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.’

There are exotic and amazing fruits that exist in different parts of the world.
Some of these exotic fruits are often rare to find in other places outside of their native region. One of the most exotic fruits in the world is Mangosteen which is commonly termed the “Queen of Fruits”.
However, while the sweetness of Mangosteen has been acclaimed through the ages, many people in the world are yet to taste this rare fruit. This is because it hardly flourishes outside of its native region of Southeast Asia.
Attempts to grow Mangosteen in some islands in the Caribbean ended up with inferior fruits. They have also fared badly in America and other Western cities.
Mangosteen is extremely climate-sensitve, thereby restricting its range.
Mangosteens are also sensitive to refrigeration and have short shelf-life. The only way to ship them is by air transport, which is expensive.
Taking into consideration these factors, it’s not hard to understand why.such exotic fruits are hard to find outside of their original countries and locations.

Indeed not everywhere is conducive for exotic fruits to flourish.
In the same way, as a unique child of God, not every environment is conducive for your flourishing. There is a place divinely ordained by God for you to be planted, grow and bring forth fruit. If you get planted outside of God’s will, you may become stagnant and unfruitful. And you may spend years wondering why things are not working as they should.

Indeed there is a place God has ordained for our fruitfulness. And except we locate ourselves in that place, we will not manifest our full potentials.

In Genesis 13, Lot chose to dwell in the cities of the plain, and he pitched his tent toward Sodom because the land initially appeared very lucrative. By the time he left Sodom, he had lost everything, and his wife had turned to a pillar of salt. But Abraham who stayed in Canaan, eventually flourished and became great, because he stayed where God had planned for him.

Truly, we need the guidance of the Holy Spirit to locate our ordained place in destiny so as to avoid frustrations in life’s journey.

Ecclesiastes 10:15 says ‘The labor of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.’

Trying to get to the city without divine guidance is wearisome. A man may toil and work so hard, yet with little results, because he is fishing on the wrong side.

In Luke 5, Peter toiled all night long and caught no fish. But when Jesus told him to cast his net on the right side and he did, he caught a multitude of fishes. So the difference between toiling all night long without a catch and having a net-breaking experience was just hearing the voice of the Master.

Today, many people are toiling in the night season of life, without any catch. But as believers we have been called to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding.
Certainly, as we acknowledge Him in all our ways, He will direct our paths.
Let us therefore always take the time to pray, study the Word and worship the Lord to hear clearly what He is saying to us.
As we follow His leading and get planted in the right place, surely we will experience revival, our lives will flourish and manifest miracles and wonders.

PRAYER: Lord, as I seek You in this season, please help me to locate the place you have ordained for my flourishing. Please grant me the grace to always follow the guidance of Your Spirit in all my endeavors in Jesus Name.

In the 1920s, Aimee Semple McPherson gained national fame for traveling across the U.S. in a car painted with ‘Jesus Is Coming Soon—Get Ready’.
Aimee used every possible means to draw attention to the Gospel. She was a greatly admired and loved Pentecostal evangelist and media celebrity.
She was also the most publicized Preacher of her time, gracing national headlines about three times every week. National news coverage focused on events surrounding her family and church members.
Aimee conducted crusades involving thousands of people, using radio to draw on the growing appeal of popular entertainment. She pioneered the use of modern media in Church services and use of illustrated sermons and dramatization.
Her preaching style, extensive charity work and ecumenical contributions were a major influence on 20th century Charismatic Christianity

However interestingly, while growing up Aimee had considered herself an atheist. At the age of 15, Aimee had become such a public debater on behalf of evolutionary theories that hardly anyone could win an argument with her.
In December of 1907, she decided to attend a Gospel meeting with the intention of making fun of the people there.
But to her greatest surprise she was arrested by the power of God and eventually surrendered her life to Christ.
She had a further divine encounter when she spent a weekend locked up to seek God in prayers. In those few days of waiting on the Lord her life was totally revolutionized as she received the baptism of the Holy Ghost. She also received the call to a worldwide ministry which led to her founding of the International Foursquare Gospel Church.

Indeed an encounter with the Lord will lead to revival and revolution in our lives.
In just a few days of waiting upon the Lord, Aimee’s Life became changed forever.
When Jesus told his disciples to tarry in Jerusalem, it became a life-changing experience for them. In that time of waiting upon the Lord, they caught the wind of the Holy Spirit that led to eruption of miracles, mighty signs and wonders.

Isaiah 40:31 says ‘But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.’

When we wait upon God, we receive power and renewed strength to go forth and excel. Indeed prayer is a price we pay to see the fulfillment of God’s glorious agenda for our lives.
The call of God upon a person usually attracts oppositions from hell and this is why we are called to engage in waiting upon the Lord so as to be adequately empowered for the assignment we are called to do.

1 Corinthians 16:9 says: ‘For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.’

It is impossible for a believer to operate in power and experience victory over adversaries without a lifestyle of prayer.
Everyone who has ever operated in the realm of power subscribed to the demands of prayer. It is in the place of waiting on the Lord that we are anointed for our next levels and ushered into new dimensions of glory.
This year God has spoken some specific words over us, but every prophecy must be enforced before it can be realized. Through engaging the force of prayer we will indeed see a speedy fulfillment of God’s wonder agenda in our lives.
Also as we commit to diligent study of God’s Word and continual praise, we will surely gain the victory over every adversary and keep mounting up to greater levels of glory and wonders.

PRAYER: Lord, please grant me the grace to wait upon You so as to see mighty manifestations of Your power in this season. Thank You Lord for renewing my strength and causing me to mount up with wings as eagles in Jesus Name.

DAILY READING; Hebrews 2; Genesis 46:28-47:31; Psalm 37

Breaking a horse is the practice of training it to be ridden. This process is also referred to as saddle breaking. It involves teaching the young horse to accept a saddle, a bridle and the weight of the rider on its back. It also involves teaching a young horse how to steer, stop and respond to cues on command when they are given using the reins, leg, and seat.
A wild stallion being ridden for the first time doesn’t want to submit to the rider or do what it’s told. And anyone who tries to ride it will only get thrown off its back. Therefore a cowboy knows that he cannot just toss a saddle on the back of a wild horse and try to ride it. He first has to follow a process used to break a horse to prepare it to be ridden. For days, he may lead the horse around a pen as it adjusts to the feel of the harness and its new surroundings. Then the saddle is placed on the horse’s back but without a rider. Finally, the cowboy puts a foot in one of the stirrups. When the cowboy climbs into the saddle, the initial shock of having someone on its back is frightening and irritating to the horse. It might buck and rear its head before it begins to settle and trot around its pen. And so gradually, the horse is prepared to begin a lifetime of service to its owner.
Horses that are labeled unbroken are those that no one ever got around to training. Unbroken horses are unsubmissive and cannot be ridden. An adult horse that is not broken has relatively little value and is considered undesirable by most horse owners. Only horses that have been broken are considered to have value and great worth.

Likewise, we are of great value to God when we become broken. Being broken is a prerequisite for stepping into the fullness of our destiny.
When God begins to work in our lives, one of the first things He does is to bring us to a place of brokenness where we become totally submissive to His will. He doesn’t immediately toss a saddle on our back, rather He works with a plan and goal and bit by bit, inch by inch, He trains us to live a life that glorifies Him. Through preordained circumstances and situations, He brings us to the place of total surrender to His will.
We are not useful or fruitful until we have become broken and dead to the flesh.

John 12:24 says ‘Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit..’

It is in the places of brokenness that we grow and bear much fruit. Indeed there are certain heights you can never achieve in life until you have become humble enough to be entrusted with them. It is he that humbles himself that is exalted. Brokenness puts us on the road to our breakthrough.
Let us therefore learn to humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God that He may exalt us in due season.

PRAYER: Lord, please destroy in me hardness of heart and everything that causes me to be unbroken. Please help me to surrender totally to Your will in every area of my life in Jesus Name.

This year 2021 is the 20th year in a row that North Korea has been ranked as the country where Christians face the most extreme persecution.
Being discovered as a Christian is a death sentence in North Korea. If the Christian is not killed instantly, he or she would be taken to a labor camp as a political criminal in inhumane prisons with horrific conditions. Not only that, everyone in their family would share the same punishment.
The North Korean government is reported to have expanded the system of prison camps, in which an estimated 50,000 Christians are currently being imprisoned.
Those who are Christians in the country have to keep their faith very secret and are unable to meet with other believers.
There are even stories of husbands and wives not knowing, for many years, that their spouse was also a Christian.
Secret police carry out raids to identify Christians, and children are encouraged to tell their teachers about any sign of faith in their parents’ home.
Though life is extremely difficult for all North Koreans, Christians continue to face extreme persecution in every element of their public and private lives. Yet despite all these, it still has not stopped an estimated 36 percent of the population – around 9 million – from practicing Christianity. North Korean Christians know that only God is powerful enough to break through the darkness of this most oppressive regime on earth, so they serve God even at the risk of their lives.

While North Korean Christians may face extreme persecution, the truth is that every serious Christian in the world today is facing some level of persecutions for their faith.
If you are a Christian who is living a godly life in this generation, you will surely suffer persecution at some points.

2 Timothy 3:12 says “Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution”

When you choose to live an uncompromising Christian life, not everyone will be happy with you.
For refusing to bow to what they are bowing to, you may get thrown into the fire. But always realize that anytime you are being attacked or persecuted for righteousness sake, God is right there with you.

He says in Isaiah 43:2 “When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned. The flames will not harm you’

Even in the fiery trial, when you keep your faith in God, He will help you and see you through every temptation. And after you have been tried, God will ensure that you come forth as gold.

Job 23:10 says ‘But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.’

Though you may go through the fire today, be assured that you are coming out better and stronger.
God’s Hand upon you will be proven because you will survive. Though you may walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you will fear no evil. Rather, you will come out victorious.
Anybody else would have lost their mind or suffered a nervous breakdown. But by the power of God, despite all you may have gone through, you will be preserved.

In Matthew 5:10-11 Jesus said, “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
In all the other beatitudes, the word “blessed” is used once, but in this particular beatitude, Jesus used the word “blessed” twice to emphasize the generous blessing given by God to the persecuted.

This means that as you remain faithful and continue to choose to please God despite persecutions, He will give you double for all your troubles.
Indeed as you keep focusing on honoring God, you will see His abundant blessings. Whatever the enemy meant for evil, God will keep turning it all around to your advantage. Where your detractors thought you would stumble and fall, God will cause you to arise and soar.
He will prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies, He will anoint you head with oil and your cup will surely run over with blessings!

PRAYER Lord please grant me the grace and strength to live a life that pleases You no matter how difficult it may seem. May I continue to uphold the truth of Your Word and stand in faith no matter the oppositions I may face in Jesus Name.

Charles Finney is one of the greatest revivalists in Church history.
As a young man, he relentlessly pursued a career in the legal profession. At the same time, he also served in the local Presbyterian church, leading the choir. However, while he outwardly appeared to be a Christian, inwardly, he was never sure of his salvation.
One day he decided that he must settle the question of his soul’s salvation. So he went alone into the woods, knelt by a log and prayed earnestly until he had fully surrendered his life to Christ.
His conviction was so strong that the next morning at the law office, Finney directed his client to find another lawyer because he was giving up his law career to become a preacher.
Thus Finney’s revivalistic career was launched.
He often went to the pulpit like a lawyer determined to win his case and win souls for Christ.
He was supported by a prayer team who went into towns ahead of him to spiritually prepare the grounds.
In most places he preached, he ignited revival fire that brought transformation to the town. The crime rates would drop so drastically that the courts had little to do and the jails stayed empty for years.
Through Charles Finney, many souls were brought into God’s kingdom.
He is Called the “father of modern revivalism” and paved the way for later revivalists like Dwight L. Moody, Billy Sunday, and Billy Graham.

When Charles Finney took time to pray for his soul’s condition, he received revival fire that affected his generation.

Indeed as we run the Christian race, we must constantly carry out a heart-check, to be sure we are in right-standing with the Lord.

2 Corinthians 13:5 says ‘Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves.’

Being an active Church member does not guarantee salvation.
It is a personal commitment and decision that habors no shadow of doubt.

If for any reason you are unsure of your spiritual condition or eternal destination, then you need to get alone with God and settle the matter.

The issue of our soul is too precious to be based on assumptions. We are running a personal race, and each of us will individually give account of ourselves to God.
Therefore, we must continually check our hearts to be sure we are walkiny closely with the Lord..

As we serve routinely in God’s kingdom, we must constantly refresh our fire, so as not to run the risk of becoming spiritually dry and stagnant.
To serve with joy, zeal and passion, we need to constantly pray to God to revive us.

Psalm 85:6 says ‘Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?’

To see revival, we must step back into the beautiful brokenness of our first-love encounter with the Lord.
We need to return to desperate hunger for His Word, fervent prayers and falling on our faces in worship.

When we consistently seek God with such passion, then the Holy Spirit will ignite revival fire in us that will affect our world and transform lives for Christ .

PRAYER: Lord, please grant me fresh spiritual encounter that will renew my passion and zeal for You. Thank You Lord for using me to positively affect my generation in Jesus Name.
