Pastor Leon Freitag was serving as a superintendent in the Assemblies of God Church in North Dakota, when he received a devastating diagnosis.
On April 5, 2014, test results revealed he had incurable cancer. According to his doctor, he had no hope of survival and had just 12 to 18 months to live..
Pastor Freitag responded to the news of his cancer by committing himself to live out his faith in front of the people he served. He believed his case was only an opportunity for the congregation to witness the power of God.
Another specialist doctor confirmed that he had no hope of recovery but stated that, at best, chemotherapy might shrink the tumor by 40 percent.
Pastor Freitag was then scheduled for surgery on August 21, 2014 to remove the large and dangerous tumors.
During the pre-op exam, Pastor Freitag’s wife, preached to the doctors and nurses and told them “We’re praying people, and we believe that when the surgeon opens my husband up, that you’ll find that God was already there.”
Indeed just as she said, on the operating table, the specialist doctor discovered that the tumors had already shriveled up and died, the tumors had shrunk by 80 percent and the remaining cancerous tissue was dead.
The doctors were dumbfounded! In all of their years of practice they had never seen anything like that happen.
The same doctors who said he had no hope of recovery turned around to declare that Pastor Frietag was totally cancer-free.
His story amazed everyone and brought great glory to God.
As Pastor Freitag resumed his full ministry schedule, he used every opportunity to testify about the reality of God’s miracle-working power.

Despite the verdict of the experts, God’s counsel over us is what will eventually prevail..
Certainly, the assurance of God’s Word is our divine insurance in the face of any challenge.
We continually keep our focus on the Word, because therein lies the wonder-working Power of God.
Confidence in God’s Word is what causes us to maintain our joy and speak faith in the face of adversities.. We do not let life’s circumstances dictate the condition of our heart rather in everything, we keep blessing the Lord because He is too faithful to fail.

Psalms 28:7 says ‘The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.’

When our heart trusts in God we will always be helped. The Lord is our strength and ever present help in times of trouble.. Even where there seems to be no way, God is able to make a way and miraculously open closed doors.
We have a victorious destiny in Christ because He causes us to triumph always (2 Corinthians 2:14).
This is why we should never despair in times of difficulties. Rather, we keep our faith strong by renewing our mind constantly through study of the Scriptures.
Keeping our mind on God’s Word is crucial because that is what causes us to see a lifting up even when others are saying there’s a casting down. Faith can do the impossible and reverse any situation in our favor.
Today, as we come to the end of the month of October, let us thank and praise God for His steadfast love that never fails us. We are still here because His mercies are new every morning. His hand that has kept us thus far will certainly keep us in the remaining days of this year and beyond.
As we keep focusing on God’s Word, we will keep having the victory and enjoy miraculous change of stories

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for bringing me to the end of this month. I am grateful for Your many mercies and I know You are set to open even greater doors for me and positively change my story in Jesus Name..

Today, as war rages between Israel and Hamas in Palestine, it is good to understand the Biblical background of the region.
The present region of Palestine belonged to the ancient tribe of the Philistines. The word “Palestine” actually comes from the word “Philistine.”
In the Bible, the Philistines constantly warred against Israel. Interestingly, these conflicts resulted from the disobedience of the tribe of Dan to God’s instruction.
When Joshua was dividing the promised land to the 12 tribes of Israel, the land allocated to Dan included the land of Philistia, which was an area on the Eastern Mediterranean Sea extending from Gaza going north to Joppa.
However, the tribe of Dan failed to obey God and did not fully conquer their territory. Rather they chose to fight another town south of present-day Lebanon, whom they displaced and took over their land,
Dan’s failure to obey God, meant the Philistines were not removed and they ended up becoming a constant harassment to Israel.
In Judges 13-15, they trapped and captured Samson, the strongman of Israel. During the days of Samuel they stole the ark of the covenant for seven months (1 Sam 4-6). The apex of Philistine hostility is poignantly illustrated in the famous battle between David, and Goliath, the ten-foot tall Philistine champion.
With God’s help, David effectively defeated the Philistines until they stopped being a serious menace to Israel. Afterwards the Philistines were wiped out from world history and became an extinct people.
However, their land came to be occupied by people from different sections of the Arab world whom we know today as Palestinians. And just like in ancient times, the region seems to know no peace as constant wars erupt between Israel and the Palestinians.

The story of Dan is an instructive lesson in the consequences of disobedience.
When God allocates to us a place in destiny, we need to trust Him and abide where He has placed us rather than choosing own ways.
We are not to lean on our understanding, but rather to trust in the Lord with all our heart. He alone knows the end from the beginning and His instructions deliver us from destructions. What today appears as a simple divine instruction could be aimed at saving you from years of pain and affliction.
It can be dangerous to make our own choices without divine guidance because we are very limited in knowing what tomorrow holds.
In Genesis 13, Lot made his own choice to dwell in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom because the land initially appeared very lucrative. By the time he left Sodom, he had lost everything, and his wife had turned to a pillar of salt.
But Abraham who stayed in Canaan, where God had planned for him, eventually flourished and became great.
Obedience is always the story behind the glory. Every act of obedience is passing the test that results in our change of level. Obedience never brings you down, rather it takes you up and leads you to good success.
Joshua 1:8 says ” This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”

Through meditation in God’s Word, our minds are renewed by the Holy Spirit to obey divine instructions so that our way becomes prosperous and we enjoy open doors.
Today, as we become willing and obedient, to God’s instructions surely we shall eat the good of the land and dwell in peace and safety.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask for the grace to always choose to follow Your instructions above my own thinking. In this season, please help me to locate and abide where You have ordained for me so i can flourish and enjoy open doors in Jesus Name.

After serving in the Soviet Army during WW2, Aleksander Solzhenitsyn was sentenced to spend eight years in a labour camp for criticizing the Nation’s leader, Josef Stalin. He was  imprisoned at the infamous Gulag labor camp where he had to work day after day, in rain and snow, throughout summer and winter.  Backbreaking labor and slow starvation filled his days.  After suffering many days of despair in the death camp,  Aleksander  fell  into gross discouragement and decided he wanted to die. However, in that moment of agony, a fellow prisoner approached him. Seeing that Aleksander had given up on life, this man encouraged him to focus on the cross of Jesus and on the Word of God.

Drawing strength from Christ’s sacrifice, Aleksander was again filled with the hope to go on. Later, when he was released from prison, he committed himself to writing books that would encourage others in their times of despair, to give them the faith and hope to persevere.

Aleksander Solzhenitsyn ended up becoming one of Russian’s greatest writers and historian.

His books sold tens of millions of copies and in 1970 he was awarded the Noble Prize for literature, due to the great impact of his writing..

People often give up on the great destiny ahead of them simply through momentary discouragement. For instance, there were many who started this year with great zeal and passion and vision, but with the many unexpected challenges and obstacles encountered so far, despair has set in and they now feel deflated. Discouragement is a stopper of men’s progress. It is what the enemy uses to distort reality and try to keep people from moving forward. Today, many people instead of progressing with their dreams, are now stuck with their fears. But the truth is that, when you are filled with strength from God’s Word, you can always overcome.

Whenever you face intimidating situations, learn to look up to God. The study of God’s Word and persistent prayers will always impart into your heart the faith that you need to excel and triumph.

The force of God’s Word gives you an inner acceleration that pushes you forward, no matter the challenges you may face.

God’s Word is like fire and hammer, and when it resides in you it crushes problems to powder. Power from the Word causes you to run like a bulldozer over the obstacles on your path.

So if you are feeling any form of despair or discouragement today, just go for an encounter with God’s Word. Whatever is trying to hold you back from moving into the fullness of God’s plan for you this year, can be overcome.

The truth is that there will always be a Goliath between you and your throne. However, your conquest will be a function of your boldness, based on strong faith in God’s Word.

Deuteronomy 7:16 says “Thou shalt not be afraid of them: but shalt well remember what the Lord thy God did unto Pharaoh…”

Remembering the mighty acts of God through meditation in His Word, releases in you the faith to overcome the world.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for granting me the victory over despair and discouragement. By Your grace I shall surely arrive at the glorious throne You have ordained for me this year in Jesus Name.

Newfoundland is a large island off the east coast of the North American mainland. It is the world’s 16th-largest island and Canada’s fourth-largest island. Some years ago a fishing fleet went out from a small harbor on the east coast of Newfoundland, and got caught in a large furious storm. This storm raged till the evening and when night came the shipping fleet had still not returned. All night long as the wind blew and thunder blasted, the families of these fishermen labored in prayers for their loved ones out in the storm. They called on God over and over to intervene and bring the men home safely. Then to add to the horror of the night, one of the houses of these missing fishermen caught fire and burned  to the ground.

When morning came, to the joy of all who labored in prayer, the fishing fleet returned safely to their harbor and all the men were safe. Yet, in the joy filled crowd there was one sad face; it was the wife of the man whose house had burned to the ground in the night. Meeting her husband as he came ashore she rejoiced that he was alive but cried out in anguish, telling him about their burnt house. But the man looked at her with excitement and exclaimed, “Thank God for the fire” Then all the men around said the same. The men then went on to say that it was the light of the burning house that guided them through the dark night and enabled them to navigate safely back to their port.

Truly, what sometimes seems like a disappointment could actually be God organizing a rescue or arranging a blessing. God superintends our lives so that even seemingly bad things work out for the good of those who trust in Him. Indeed when we have a relationship with God and are walking in His will, we can trust He works behind the scenes to turn things around to our favor.

No matter how things may initially look, God ‘s grace  always overturns what was meant for evil to eventually turn to our advantage.  When you are a child of God you can be sure that disappointments will only end up to become divine appointments for you. However how we respond to disappointing situations will determine whether or not we  experience God’s grace. Renewing our minds through God’s Word enables us to trust in Him during tough times and see our situation through the eyes of faith.

If you are faced with disappointment, instead of complaining always believe God’s promise that “All things work together for good to them who love God; to them who are called according to His purpose.”  The truth is that though we may not always be able to trace the hand of God, we can always trust the heart of God.

God knows what He’s doing. While we may be limited in our knowledge and information about the circumstances that surround failed expectations, God sees the big picture and He alone knows the secrets of men’s hearts, and motives. Therefore don’t ever make the critical mistake of thinking that God let you down or didn’t answer your prayer. Rather in all things trust that God’s thoughts towards you are thoughts of peace, never of evil to give you an expected end.

Proverbs 3:5-6  says  “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”

No matter what you may be faced with today, understand that God is your only hope and your last ‘bus stop’. God is always good to those that trust in Him. And as we continue to bless Him at all times and in everything, He will surely turn every disappointment into a blessing for us.

PRAYER; Lord,  I thank  You for turning every disappointment into a blessing in my life. Please help me to remain ever grateful and thankful in every situation, because I know that even right now You are causing all things to work  together for my good in Jesus Name.

Alice Marie Johnson is author of the book ‘After Life: My Journey from Incarceration to Freedom’ . This book is the story of how unshakeable faith in God set her free from a lifetime imprisonment.
Alive was a wife, and a mother who had a respectable job. But her world turned upside down when she suddenly lost her job. As she faced a financially tumultuous period, she began to help drug sellers distribute drugs as a way of paying off her mounting debts. In 1996, she and her daughter, were arrested for involvement in a cocaine trafficking organization.
In this time of trouble, Alice turned to God promising to serve Him if only He would let her daughter be set free. God answered her prayers and the charges against her daughter were dropped. In keeping to her promise Alice began serving God, even though she had received a life sentence for her criminal activities.
Locked behind bars, prison officers told her that she would not leave prison until she died. But she refused to believe them, rather she focused on God’s Word and His promises of deliverance.
One day she had a dream where she was set free from prison and also other prisoners told her about having dreams of her release from prison in which the media covered the event.
Alice became an ordained minister in the prison and helped to mentor other imprisoned women.
In 2017, she was selected by Google to speak from prison at a YouTube Summit on criminal justice reform. After the program, Alice was asked to do a short video opinion editorial. This video immediately went viral and was eventually brought to the attention of President Donald Trump. He granted Alice clemency in 2018 and she was freed from the prison in a media covered event that was aired nationally. Alice’s dream of freedom eventually came to pass through her reliance on God’s Word .

Alice’s story displays the power of faith.
Certainly, what we believe is what we receive in life.
There is, therefore need for us to grow in knowledge of God’s Word to obtain the faith that will establish our freedom from every form of bondage.
Christ has obtained mercy and deliverance for us at the cross. Therefore refuse every negative condition the enemy tries to impose on you. Perhaps the enemy is telling you that you will remain in the prison of sickness, poverty, unemployment, loneliness etc.. Refuse and refute those negative reports. You are serving the miracle-working God, who can do inexplicable wonders. As long as you have faith anything is possible in your life.
No matter how inescapable or insurmountable any obstacle, through faith there is victory for you.
Don’t accept that you will live in any bondage for the rest of your life. Perhaps they have said in your lineage certain negative traits obtain, but as a Blood-bought child of the living God, believe that your case is different.
Life is essentially a warfare adventure. Therefore be determined to fight the good fight of faith to obtain your freedom. Because faith comes by hearing the Word, make the decision to begin reading, meditating and listening to the Word, until your thoughts and actions are controlled by God’s Word. As you begin to move by faith, no barrier, oppositions or limitation will be able to stop you. And it is only a matter of before you break out of every captivity and begin to live the fruitful life that God has ordained for you.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for the eternal victory You have given me through faith in Your Word. Today, I declare my freedom from every bondage and receive Your glorious plans and the greater open doors have ordained for me in Jesus Name.

The shroud of Turin is the most studied artifact in the world.
The Shroud of Turin, also called Holy Shroud, is an ancient 14-foot linen cloth bearing an image of a crucified man, which many believe to be the image of Christ. But this issue has hotly been debated over many centuries.
When it first surfaced in 1354, many believed it to be the piece of cloth that wrapped Jesus when he was taken down from the cross, and which had covered Him in the tomb. But there are also many who believe it is simply a medieval forgery or a hoax perpetrated by some clever artist.
However, over the centuries, controversy has continued to trail its authenticity as scientists can’t seem to agree whether the shroud is the original burial clothes of Jesus or simply a fake. As a result, the Shroud, which since 1578 has been in Turin, Italy, has undergone more scientific testing than any other relic in human history. Modern science has completed hundreds of thousands of hours of detailed study and intense research on the Shroud, yet, the controversy still rages. Despite all the investigations, they never seem to come to a conclusion.

Lack of revelation and understanding of the Scriptures, is actually why these scientists keep ending up with more questions than answers.
Their dilemma can be likened to the confusion of the Jewish leaders, who constantly questioned Jesus to know His true identity.
Jewish Rabbis and scholars had intensely studied the Bible about the coming of the Messiah, yet because they lacked real revelation, they never recognized Jesus as He walked among them. The Bible records in John 10:23-24, that as Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s porch, then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, ‘How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.’
Because they didn’t know Him, they crucified Him and till today, the Jews are still waiting for the coming of the Messiah.
We may wonder at the spiritual blindness of these Jews but anyone who lacks revelation knowledge of Christ can be in a similar deception.
The 12 disciples had been living with Jesus, but when the question of His identity was asked, only Peter could correctly answer because he was given the revelation from God.
Today, as Christians, we may think we know Christ, but without revelation knowledge from His Word, we may actually fall to deception.
Jesus stated in Matthew 24:11 that one of the glaring signs of the last days will be many false prophets that shall rise and deceive many.
The path of spiritual knowledge can be slippery therefore anyone who thinks he stands ought to take heed lest he fall. In these end time wisdom and knowledge from God’s Word is our only spiritual anchor and the stability of our times.[Isaiah 33:6].
Only when God’s Word is a lamp unto our feet and light to our path can we see clearly in these days of spiritual gross darkness upon the earth. As we daily renew our mind with God’s Word and receive illumination from the Holy Spirit, surely we shall escape the deceptions and confusions of these perilous times.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for granting me spiritual stability through revelation and deep insights from Your Word. As I walk with divine wisdom and discernment, surely I shall escape the many deceptions of these last days in Jesus Name.

Isaiah 26:3 ‘Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.’

During his brutal rule as president of Uganda in the 1970s, Idi Amin Dada killed many Christians. He banned twenty-seven Church denominations after he claimed he had received orders in a dream to do so.
However despite Amin’s rule of terror, many Christians across Uganda remained resilient. They resisted in every way they could and fought in the place of prayers. One of them was Naomi Gonahasa, who was manager of Namirembe Guest House, run by the Church of Uganda.
Naomi and her husband Stephen, played a part in saving the lives of believers on the run from Amin’s savage killers. Their hotel was a good hiding place where Naomi and her husband provided shelter and food for many.
When people seeking refuge would turn up, they were given access to freely stay in the hotel as long as they knew the code word. The secret code word was “Goodyear”.
In the midst of their terrible circumstances they had faith that they would soon have a good year.
Naomi and her husband were also active members of an underground church and often believers would have meetings in the lounge of their guest house.
Though the couple were obvious targets for the thugs of Amin’s secret police, God supernaturally protected them.As they stood resolutely in the place of prayer, God moved in answer to their cry. By 1979, Tanzanian soldiers invaded Uganda and Idi Amin fled into exile — first to Libya and then to Saudi Arabia where he died on August 16, 2003.
Many of the Christians who remained resolute in prayer were alive to see the liberation of Uganda, the restoration of peace in their homeland and indeed experienced a ‘good year’.

In the Old Testament there were Cities of Refuge allocated to the Levite tribe in the Old Testament that provided asylum for those on the run from being killed.
As New Testament believers, we have a place of refuge and safety from the enemy.
God is our refuge, and our strength, and a very present help in times of trouble.
No matter the deteriorating conditions of the government, economy, security, etc, our faith is in what is written in God’s Word and not what is happening in the world. God has promised in Isaiah 26:3 that as we keep our mind on Him, He will keep us in perfect peace, because we trust in Him.
While we may not all face horrendous situations as the Christians who were under Idi Amin’s rule, we all face an enemy who intends to steal, kill and destroy. As this enemy goes about as a roaring lion looking for whom to devour in these last days, we do not have to fear because in God we have everlasting refuge.
He is Jehovah-Nissi, “God our banner.” He is always working on behalf of His church, and reigns supreme over the happenings in the world.
In His faithful commitment to His people, God sent His son Jesus to shed His Blood on the Cross and give us eternal cover from every evil.
Therefore while there may be tribulation in the world, in Christ we will always have peace.
Today, as news of wars and conflicts escalates across the globe and it sometimes seem as if the world is imploding, we have an ark of safety in Christ.
As we daily go deeper in our relationship with God, surely, by the Blood of Jesus, no evil shall befall us and no plague can come near our dwelling place.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You that I have guaranteed security and immunity from evil through the Blood of Jesus. Today by the mystery of the Blood I have overcome every plans of the enemy in Jesus Name.

California’s most famous stagecoach robber was a man called, “Black Bart,” whose real name was Charles Bolton.
As a young child, Charles Bolton read serial adventure stories in local newspapers about a villain named “Black Bart” who robbed stagecoaches.
Charles grew up to become a gold prospector and one of San Francisco’s leading citizens. He had a reputation of being a non-smoking, non-drinking big businessman.
He had a wife and four children but eventually left his family to pursue his work as a gold prospector in another town. While there, he had problems with some agents of an American banking company named Wells Fargo.
He felt so bad that he wrote his wife a letter vowing to revenge against this banking company.
Thereafter, for many months his wife did not hear again from him. But during that period news began to spread about a highway robber called “Black Bart” who robbed Wells Fargo stagecoaches at least 28 times, brandishing a shotgun.
During his last robbery, “Black Bart” was wounded. As he fled the scene he mistakenly dropped a handkerchief behind. The handkerchief had the laundry marking, FX07. As the police investigated the owner of the handkerchief, they made one of the most surprising, arrests in the city’s history. ‘Black Bart’ the stagecoach robber turned out to be Charles Bolton, a man well respected by the citizens of San Francisco. Obviously, the character of the villain “Black Bart,” he read about in his childhood, was something he had fantasized about. It became so ingrained in his subconscious mind that it eventually manifested as his reality.

The unconscious mind is so powerful that it can, without a man’s awareness, direct the course of what eventually happens in his life.
There are images that can lodge in the mind and years later, still echo in the subconscious, seeking expression. As such we need to be intentional about the thoughts we grant access into our minds.
The scripture tells us to guard our mind with all diligence, which means to control the doorway to what we allow in.
This is because the real battle of life takes place in the mind.
The truth is that what constantly enters your heart though your eyes and ears eventually dominates you and controls your actions. The law of the mind is that what you put in is what you get out.

Galatians 6:7-8 says “Do not be deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that will he also reap. For he that sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap life everlasting’

What you sow is what you reap. And as a man thinks in his heart so is he. Everyone eventually produces the fruit of the seed sown in the heart. This is why people who constantly watch immoralities or other vices end up struggling with those temptations. If you don’t want the fruit, then don’t sow the seed. What you don’t want, don’t watch, or listen to.
God has given us the ability to control what we sow and thereby control what we reap.
The harvest of your tomorrow depends on the seed you sow today. Therefore let us learn to diligently sow the good seeds of God’s Word into our hearts, because it will cause our lives to bear fruits of a glorious and enviable future.

PRAYER: Lord, Please grant me the grace to constantly renew my mind with Your Word. May I have a renewed desire and appetite to constantly sow Your Word into my heart so that I can reap a harvest of glorious open doors and divine opportunities in Jesus Name. .

Jeremiah 32:27 ‘Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?’

DAILY READING; Matthew 7; Exodus 37:1-38:31; Proverbs 17

David Winans was born outside of wedlock in 1934 by a mother who was a singer. After his birth, his father denied his paternity and his mother was left alone to raise him. Eventually, his paternal grandfather, Isaiah Winans, who was a pastor took him in and brought him up in the Church.
David followed his mother’s footsteps into music, and occasionally sang with Gospel bands. As a young adult, David got a regular job with the Dodge assembly line. But the day before his wedding in 1953, David Winans was shocked to find himself fired from his job. With no money, he and his new bride struggled financially, but they kept their focus on God.
During this time, David was appointed to take over as the pastor in his grandfather’s Church in Detroit. Besides pastoral work, David and his wife, sometimes worked two or three jobs to make ends meet, but the church was the most important part of their lives.
Over the years, they had ten children whom they endeavored to raise up in the ways of the Lord.
David was so committed in raising his children to follow the Lord that all their activities outside of school, revolved around the Church.
Being constantly in the Church, singing and music became a way of life for these ten kids and they began to exhibit great musical talents.
When they recorded their first album in 1983, the family’s musical talent finally came to the limelight and gained public acclaim. Today, few families have been influential on the development of Gospel music as the Winans family. Prominent among the Winans family is CeCe Winans who is the best-selling and most-awarded female Gospel artist of all time. As the patriarch of the family, David ‘Pop’ Winans enjoyed great honor and acclaim until his death in 2009.

The story of David Winans teaches us that men’s rejection cannot stop God’s projection for your life.
If you’re going to become all God has created you to be, you can’t let setbacks or disappointments stop you. You may get knocked down but don’t get knocked out. No matter what life throws your way, get back up and keep moving forward.
Understand that God has a plan of bringing forth beauty out of your ashes.
In the scriptures, Job went through all kinds of tough times, but in the midst of his pain Job still proclaimed, “I know my redeemer lives”. And in the end God brought full restoration and Job went on to live a blessed, happy life.
The truth is that in the game of life, everyone, at one time or the other has suffered some injury. But you can’t let your hurt be an excuse to quit playing. Sometimes you have to play even in the pain.
Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to soar even in the storm. Eventually every storm runs out of rain, just like the dark night turns into day.
Today, many people are sitting on the sidelines of life, nursing their wounds, not moving forward because of what they’ve been through. But that is not your case as a child of God. You have a victorious destiny in Christ: You may be challenged, but you are not permitted to be defeated. Christ causes us to triumph always (2 Corinthians 2:14).
No matter how contrary any situation, keep your focus on God’s Word until your mind is renewed to see things through the eyes of faith. God’s Word births the pictures of victory within us. And as we hold on to those inner pictures, they will eventually manifest as our outward reality.
Today, you may be a nobody, have no money, no name or fame, but never limit what God can do in your life. We serve the God of miracles to whom nothing is impossible. He says in Jeremiah 32:27 ‘Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?’
Certainly, nothing is too hard for God. Therefore, in everything let us give thanks. As you turn your pain to praise, and turn your worry into worship, surely, God will turn your battles into blessings.

PRAYER: Lord, I know with You nothing shall be impossible. Please help me to focus on your Word and to praise You always. I thank You because certainly, everything will eventually work together for my good in Jesus Name.

The Industrial Revolution was a period of major changes in the way products are made. It took place more than 200 years ago and greatly affected the way people lived as well as the way they worked. England was the first country in which these changes took place. However, the Industrial Revolution soon spread to other European countries, the United States, and Japan.
The Industrial Revolution brought major changes that continues to affect civilization today. Because of the Industrial Revolution that happened in England in the 1760s today we can enjoy living in a civilized world. All the healthcare, transportation and technology we have today, was due to the Industrial Revolution.
Indeed the revolution changed the world, and opened up new chapters of civilization. However, the industrial Revolution was made possible because of the reformation.
The reformation was a period in history in which Christians were required to make drastic changes and sacrifices in their ways of living. During the reformation a lot of excesses in the church were dealt with. The result of these sacrifices shaped major features of Western culture that we see today, including freedom of religion, freedom of conscience, the dignity of the individual, and political democracy.
From the reformation, a new generation of believers emerged who were fervent in spirit and diligent in their work. The new work ethic then led to the development of capitalism, which eventually helped to usher in the industrial revolution. The Protestant Reformation fundamentally shaped the history of the centuries following it up until the present time.

Indeed a right spiritual positioning will often provoke a positive change of story. When you position yourself rightly, God brings about a revolution in your life that will catapult you from where you used to be to where you ought to be.
Christianity is a covenant-based faith. It is a faith of responsibility. Every provision in redemption has its condition. To experience the revolution we desire, we must ensure our lives are right before God.

In 1 Kings 18:30-39, before the fire could fall, Elijah had to rebuild the broken down altar of God. But after rebuilding it and offering sacrifices on it, the fire of God fell from Heaven and there was a revolution in the land.
There is always something to do to experience the breakthrough or revolution we desire to see in our lives. Revolution refers to drastic change. When God took Joseph from prison to the palace, it was a revolution as his story suddenly changed. Also when God took David from being a shepherd boy to become the king of Israel, his life was revolutionized. We can experience such drastic positive changes when we are willing to pay the required spiritual price. For us to experience a revolution, we need to move up higher in our prayers, study, fasting, praise and sacrificial giving.
Indeed we need to ask the Lord to show us in which area we need to repair any broken down altar im.oir lives.
As we study the Word, the Holy Spirit will quicken our minds and give us understanding of what to do to usher in our needed breakthroughs. Obedience to divine instructions could mean laying down our Isaac on the Altar, or getting rid of the Achan in our camp. But when we make the necessary adjustments, we will see the positive changes and miracles we desire. The price of obedience may not be easy, but the harvests will always be worth it. Though weeping may endure for a night, certainly joy comes in the morning. They that sow in tears, will at the end, reap in joy.

We all have areas in our lives where we need to make changes or improvements. . And today as we take the decision to make the required sacrifices as revealed to us by God, the Heavens will be opened up to us.
Our tearful seeds of obedience, will result in cheerful harvests of amazing open doors , miracles , and breakthroughs.

PRAYER: Lord, please show me what I need to do. No matter how difficult the instruction, please grant me the grace for obedience, so that I can experience my supernatural change of story in Jesus Name.
