DECEMBER 19; GOD WILL REMEMBER YOU!

Psalm 20: 1-3 ‘The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee; Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion; Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.’

DAILY READING; • Acts 11:19-30; Joshua 13-14; Job 27

At the beginning of Smith Wigglesworth’s ministry, there was often usual display of God’s power at their mission house at Bradford, England. One day, two men visited and told him about a sick man in Wales called Lazarus. This man used to be a preacher but had an attack of tuberculosis, that for four years had made him a helpless invalid, bound to his bed.
Wigglesworth didn’t give much thought to what the two men told him. Then two years after he was in the presence of God, when suddenly the Lord said to him, “I want you to go raise Lazarus.”
Thereafter Wigglesworth travelled to Wales, traced the sick man’s home and went to see him.
When Wigglesworth saw him, from the natural standpoint, Lazarus’ case appeared hopeless. He was nothing but a mass of skin and bones —and was more dead than alive. Moreover he didn’t have any faith left in him. But Wigglesworth knew that God who had spoken to him was able to reverse the situation.
He left the man’s home and went and found seven brethren to stand with him in prayer. By the next day the eight of them went back to Lazarus’ house. Obeying God’s instruction, they just stood around the bed and said in unison ‘Jesus, Jesus, Jesus Jesus!'” As they spoke, the power of God fell.
Lazarus then confessed that while he was a preacher he been bitter in heart, and grieved the Spirit of God. He then cried out to God in repentance.
As he did, the power of God went through him, healing him instantly. Lazarus got up and dressed himself and from that day he went about testifying of what God had done for him.

Just like the Biblical Lazarus, it had looked as if this man’s case was over, but when God remembered him, He sent Smith Wigglesworth all the way from Bradford to Wales to raise him from his deathbed.
In Esther 6:1, it looked like Mordecai had been forgotten in obscurity. When God remembered him, King Ahasuerus the monarch of the ancient Persian Empire was kept restless and sleepless until Mordecai had been honored.
When God remembers you, certain people will be kept sleepless until you are honored, healed and blessed.
One way to get divine attention and be remembered for good is by lifting up our voice to God.

In Mark 10:46-52, Blind Bartimeus heard Jesus was passing by and cried out loudly “Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me!.’.
His voice got the attention of Jesus. The Bible says that “Jesus stood still!” He stopped and called for Bartimeus and healed him.
To get God’s attention your voice must be heard.
Therefore in this season let us raise our voice and give God unusual praise. Let it be the kind of praise that will get His attention. Dignified praise may not get the job done. Desperate situations call for desperate actions. In 2 Samuel 6:22, David abased himself in praise and secured his throne. So today praise like never before, from the very depths of your soul! Decide not to keep tolerating any lingering problem or carry it over to the coming year. And as you give God unusual praise, He will certainly do unusual miracles and turn every test into a testimony for you.

PRAYER: Father please enable me to give You worthy praise always. Thank You for remembering me for good and turning every issue of concern in my life into a testimony in Jesus Name.

DECEMBER 18; TURN PRESSURE TO PLEASURE.

Psalm 16:11 ‘Thou wilt shew me the path of life: In thy presence is fulness of joy; At thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.’

DAILY READING; Acts 11:1-18; Joshua 11-12; Job 26

On Tuesday, October 29, 1929, the United States stock market crashed. About $15 billion was lost in just one day due to the plummeting share prices.
This began a chain of events that led to the Great Depression, a 10-year economic slump that affected all industrialized countries in the world.
The 1920s had been a time of wealth and excess in the United States of America, and stock prices had risen to unprecedented levels. This encouraged many people to speculate that the market would continue to rise. Investors borrowed money to buy more stocks.
But few years later, real estate values began to decline and the stock market also weakened. When stock prices started to slide on October 29, many people rushed to sell their stock and get out of the market. The “panic selling,” led to the crash of the stock market which fell to its lowest point in history.
Thousands of people lost great fortunes and some committed suicide as a result. The bleak and catastrophic aftermath of the stock market crash of October 29, 1929, made the day to be nicknamed ‘Black Tuesday’.

No matter the economic condition around us, we should never give in to anxiety, panic or worrying.
As we come to the festive season, which involves a lot of expenditure, we have to be careful not to feel pressured financially.
Rather than be anxious, take the situation to God in prayers with thanksgiving.
Philippians 4:6-7 says ‘Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

God is in control of our affairs and He is able to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory. He knows the things we have need of even before we ask Him and He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ever ask, think or imagine.
Therefore instead of worrying, fearing or fretting, let us build up our faith in God through intense study of His Word.
Also let us always maintain a praise-full attitude because in praise is our victory!
By engaging the force of praise, we record fearful and wonderful testimonies of divine supplies.
Today, no matter the temptation refuse to be anxious over anything rather keep blessing the Lord at all times. Praise brings God’s Presence where there’s is fullness of joy and pleasures forever more.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to always praise You in every situation. Indeed You are bigger than any problem I may face today. As I praise You I know You will indeed turn my mourning into dancing in Jesus Name.

DECEMBER 17; RISING THROUGH GRATITUDE .

1 Thessalonians 5:18 ‘In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.’

DAILY READING – Acts 10:34-48; Joshua 9-10; Job 25

George Muller was a famous 19th Century evangelist who after surviving a deadly illness dedicated himself to taking care of orphans.
Though he didn’t have much money he decided to trust God as he embarked on building orphanages. God touched the hearts of people to begin to give to this project and by 1849 a building was completed to house the orphans.
In the course of his ministry to the Children, George Muller really had to trust God to provide for them. Through this, he learnt the power of gratitude. And in his journal he kept records of several instances of miraculous provisions, through gratitude. One morning, there was no food and no money to buy food. George got the children to lift up his hands and began to thank God for providing food for them. Just then, there was a knock at the door. The owner of a nearby bakery stood there, and said, “Mr. Müller, I couldn’t sleep last night. Somehow I felt you didn’t have bread for breakfast, and the Lord wanted me to send you some. So I got up at 2 a.m. and baked some fresh bread, and have brought it.” Mr. Müller thanked the baker, and no sooner had he left, when there was a second knock at the door. It was the milkman. He announced that his milk cart had broken down right in front of the orphanage, and he would like to give the children his cans of fresh milk so he could empty his wagon and repair it. And so miraculously the children had enough bread and milk for breakfast. Such instances of divine provision abounded in the life and ministry of George Muller. And he would end up caring for over 120,000 orphans.

Indeed thanksgiving has multiplication power. It brings supernatural provisions. In John 6:5-12, when Jesus fed 5,000 men, thanksgiving was what multiplied the loaves of bread. Thanksgiving ensures that nothing finishes in your hand.
The earth yields its increase to us, when we praise God.
Psalm 67:3,7 says ‘Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.’
By giving thanks to God, we encounter the multiplication power of praise. Gratitude is a spiritual force that empowers us to scale great heights. You can’t go higher than the level of your gratitude.
Gratitude is also the key to seeing God’s promises manifest in our lives.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 tells us in everything to give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning us. So thanksgiving is the will of God. And Hebrews chapter 10 tells us it is after we have done the will of God that we obtain the promise. So it is after we have given thanks, which is the will of God, that we can obtain, what has been promised us by God. This means His promise will not be accomplished until we first do God’s will, which is to give thanks.
A heart of gratitude is your fastest escape out of any tight situation. The more grateful you are the higher you rise in altitude. When you are grateful, God takes your place in life’s battle and wins for you. Praise is a covenant technique that guarantees cheap victory. God inhabits the praises of His people. So when you live a praiseful life, God’s presence abides with you; and when He abides with you, your life becomes a sign and a wonder.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to be always full of gratitude, so that I can enjoy divine supplies and constant miracles in every area of my life in Jesus Name.

DECEMBER 16; HAND OVER THE BATTLE TO GOD!

2 Chronicles 20:15 ‘Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.”.

DAILY READING; Acts 10:1-33; Joshua 7-8; Job 24

The Seven Years’ War fought from 1756 to 1763 was the first global war, which spanned five continents.
Most of the battles were fought between France and Britain. At that time, Britain and France had colonized different parts of North America.
France owned most of the area that is now known as Canada but also wanted control of the Ohio River area. But Britain did not want to give up its control there, so this disagreement led to the war.
Over the course of the war, it appeared Britain was going to be defeated. The initial armed conflicts did not go well for them as France had the upper hand.
As defeat loomed, the king of Britain called for a day of solemn prayer and fasting. On that day many people fasted and went to the Churches to call upon God to deliver Britain.
Every church in the city was more than full, and a solemn seriousness sat on every face.
The result of this national fasting and prayer was that the tide of the war turned to favor Britain. The threatened invasion by the French was averted and what had looked like eminent humiliation for Britain was turned into national rejoicing as they gained upper hand in the war, forcing France to abandon half of the British territory it had earlier conquered.

When it seems we are faced with formidable battles, we can reposition ourselves for victory by handing over the battles to God. This we do by setting aside time to fast and pray and seek God’s help.
In 2 Chronicles 20 a terrifying coalition of enemies came against Judah and it seemed their defeat was eminent. However, King Jehoshaphat decided to seek God’s help and proclaimed a national day of fasting.
During this fast the Spirit of the Lord spoke to them saying ‘Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” [2 Chronicles 20:15].
God fought for them and by the next day they found that their enemies had destroyed one another and left behind a great spoil that took three days to gather.
Surely, the battles of life are not ours but the Lord’s. The children of Judah did not lift any weapon, but through fasting, prayer and praise, God gave them the victory. Certainly, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.
When we fight through God’s help, our victory is established. We must learn to let God fight for us.
As Christians, we must always remember that our wrestle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual wickedness in high places, and it is only through God’s power that they can be defeated.
To ensure total victory let us also learn to engage the decisive weapon of praise. Just as the men of Judah sang praises and God set an ambush against their enemies and none escaped, as we praise God today, every enemy of sickness, poverty, disfavor, delay, etc, will be totally annihilated in Jesus Name.

PRAYER: Lord, Thank You for the grace to always hand over my battles to you. As I praise You today, I thank You for empowering me and repositioning me for constant victory over every challenge in Jesus Name.

DECEMBER 15; EXPERIENCING SPEED AND RESTORATION!

Joel 2:25-27 ‘And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God’

DAILY READING – • Acts 9:26-43; Joshua 5:2-6:27; Job 23

Jack Coe’s youth was not a happy one. His father was a gambler and alcoholic leaving his mother to single-handedly raise their seven children. When Jack was nine years old, the burden proved too much for his mother and she sent Jack and his older brother to live at an orphanage. The boys were not happy there and one day while trying to run away Jack’s brother was hit by a car and killed. Jack was heartbroken and when he turned seventeen, he left the orphanage and took up a life of drinking and carousing. He drank so much that his doctor told him that his next drink could kill him. He didn’t listen. One day after a drinking binge Jack felt he was dying and had to be rushed by an ambulance to a hospital. While there, he cried out to God to give him just one more chance. God answered his prayer, his symptoms disappeared and he went home fully recovered.
Thereafter he gave his life to Christ and served God with relentless passion. He was ordained a minister in 1944, when he was 26 years old, and within a short time God granted him supernatural recovery of the lost years of his youth. While still in his 30’s God used his ministry mightily.
Jack Coe was one of the pioneers of the Voice of Healing Revival that swept through America during the 1930’s to the 50’s. He had an extra-ordinary healing anointing on his life and his ministry made a great global impact.

Jack Coe was headed towards a wasted life, but through salvation, God arrested the process of deterioration and granted him supernatural speed and restoration.
When we seek God, He has ways of creating shortcuts in destiny’s road map and compressing time, to enable us to still arrive at our preordained place despite any time wasted.
In Joel 2:25-27 God promises ‘And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed’

From scriptures we find that every move of God is accompanied by waves of recovery. Part of experiencing greater open doors and supernatural harvest is also recovery of lost time.
If for any reason you feel you have missed your season, God is able to send a bountiful harvest in this last month that will cover up for your lost time.
However, revelation is our access to divine restoration and recovery.
In Luke 15, when the woman who had lost her silver coin lit a candle and went on a diligent search she was able to recover it. The spirit of a man is the candle of the Lord. Therefore as we light up our spirit man through prayer and search diligently in the Scriptures, we will find the revelation that will lead to our recovery. And when you find it there shall be a reward and your expectations shall not be cut short
Anywhere you may have worked without tangible rewards or labored without results, trust God to bring recovery and restoration to you.
Because praise is the sickle of harvest, let us deliberately give God all the glory.
As we give God worthy praise, let us expect divine speed and acceleration that will enable us to recover all lost ground this year. By God’s grace, it is our time to experience overflow of blessings, joy and favor.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for supernatural speed and restoration in this season. Please enable me to meditate constantly on your Word so that I can receive the revelation to recover all lost ground in Jesus Name.

DECEMBER 14: GOD WILL SURPRISE YOU!

Psalm 18:31-34 ‘For who is God save the Lord? or who is a rock save our God? It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect. He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet, and setteth me upon my high places. ‘

DAILY READING ; Acts 9:1-25; Joshua 3:1-5:1; Job 22

In March 3, 1972. engineers at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration [NASA] launched a 570-pound robot craft into space. It was called the exploratory space probe Pioneer 10.
Then on April 5, 1973, they launched another satellite named Pioneer 11.
At that time, no earth satellite had ever gone beyond Mars. Pioneer 10 and 11 were built to go forth and do a grand tour of the outer space and send back information. They were built on low budget and expected to last for about three years. Scientists even feared they might be destroyed before they could reach their target.
But Pioneer 10 and 11 surpassed expectations and surprised everyone. Pioneer 11 remained functional 22 years later.
Pioneer 10 not only accomplished its mission, it did far much more. This small satellite was designed to reach only Jupiter, but it went beyond Jupiter and reached several other planets.
By 1997, twenty-five years after its launch, Pioneer 10 was still on the move. By this time it had travelled more than six billion miles from the sun. And despite that immense distance, Pioneer 10 still continued to beam back radio signals to scientists on Earth. Perhaps most remarkable fact was that those signals emanated from an 8-watt transmitter, which radiates about as much power as a bedroom night light. Engineers designed Pioneer 10 with a useful life of just three years, but it kept going on for over 30 years. It exceeded every expectation and was a phenomenon scientists could not explain.

Sometimes we are like those little satellites. It may appear that there are limits and boundaries we can never cross. But you are capable of much more accomplishment than you realize. You have potentials for greater victories within you. It is not about you, it is about Christ in you, the hope of glory. It is not about your capability, it is about His ability at work in you.
There is no limit to what God can do with your life. The only limitation you have is that of the mind, and when you renew your mind through the Word of God then you can do all things through Christ that strengthens you.
Especially as the year draws to a close, it may be easy for you to conclude that there is nothing more to expect. But do not conclude yet, because God can still spring divine surprises and unveil new chapters and new things in your life.
If perhaps you performed poorly in some areas, and there seems not much to show for your efforts this year, do not give up. There is no situation God cannot change. Just align to His Word and follow His will. Like the pioneer 10 satellite, you are about to go beyond your 8-watt transmitter, and break limits. You are about to go past men’s expectations and arrive at the stars. You serve the God of miracles who is committed to ensure you end well. His Word says ‘better is the end of the matter than the beginning thereof’. So don’t throw in the towel yet, it is not over until you win. God still has great things lined up. As you keep praising Him, God will make your feet as hind’s feet and cause you to ride upon your high places. This year will surely end well for you. Your mouth will soon be filled with laughter and your tongue with singing.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to develop a greater appetite for Your Word and Your Spirit so that I can experience the great things you still have lined up for me this year. I will surely end this year well by Your Grace in Jesus Name. .

DECEMBER 13; THE SPEAKINGS OF THE BLOOD.

Revelation 12:11 ‘And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death’

DAILY READING – Acts 8:26-40; Joshua 1-2; Job 21

Open Doors USA, is an organization that monitors Christian persecution around the world.
According to their World Watch list of countries that persecute Christians Egypt is No. 16.
But interestingly, despite the persecutions, there has been many miraculous conversion of Muslims in Egypt.
In 2019, one of these striking stories was shared by Open Doors. According to the story aired on the Christian Broadcasting Network, an Egyptian Muslim named Mostafa, had traveled to Cairo with the intention of killing his cousin, Mohammad, who had converted to Christianity.
Mostafa’s family had ordered him to find and execute Mohammed so as to remove the stigma of his conversion to Christianity. Honoring his family, Mostafa set out on the murderous task.
When he got to Cairo where Mohammed resided, he traced him to a church where he was seated and listening intently to a sermon.
Mostafa crept into the back of the church, with a hidden knife waiting for a right time to strike. But then, something supernatural occurred. As Mostafa, waited for the opportunity to stab his cousin, he had to in the meantime listen to the words of the minister coming from the altar. And rather than be offended he found his heart was stirred by what he was hearing. Quickly, he realized that he no longer had the zeal to carry out the killing of his cousin and so he decided to confess to Mohammed. With tears streaming down his face, he confessed to his cousin and asked him to tell him more about Jesus. Mohammed immediately explained the Gospel to him and later took Mostafa to his home. And that night as Mostafa slept, he had a dream. where Jesus appeared to him on the cross and said, “I did all of this because I love you, and I want you to be free from your sins.” The next morning, Mostafa rushed out of bed and asked Mohammed to pray for him. In an instant, he received salvation and was baptized. Instead of returning home, Mostafa began staying with Mohammed and the two cousins have passionately been serving Jesus.

The power of God not only preserved Mohammed’s life, but also arrested Mostafa from carrying out his evil intentions.
While it is true that in the last days, wickedness will increase, God will exempt His own by His supernatural intervention.. Through the Blood of Jesus we will be delivered from every evil plot.

Revelation 12:11 says ‘And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death’

It is our season to overcome every attack of the enemy by the Blood of Jesus. Any repetitive cycle of evil or stubborn problem that keeps following you year after year, can be stopped by the power in the Blood.
His blood is a weapon of mass destruction against every satanic assault. Indeed the Blood elevates us to a place of triumph in every contest.

Heb. 12:24 says “…And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.”

Indeed the Blood of Jesus speaks. And today that Blood is speaking over our lives and over our loved ones. It is speaking judgment to every oppression of pharaoh that won’t let you go this year.
In Egypt, despite the years of captivity when the Blood came on the scene in Exodus chapter 12, Pharaoh quickly gave up.
As this year rounds up, let us keep invoking the Blood because it is the divine provision for our freedom from every satanic oppression. It is what it takes to silence the opposition. It is our ultimate victory in every battle of life.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for the yoke breaking power in the Blood of Jesus. Indeed today by the power in the blood, every bondage and captivity is destroyed in my life forever! I have victory over everything contesting my glorious destiny in Jesus Name.

DECEMBER 12; LIFTED BY PRAISE!

Nehemiah 8:10 ”Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength’ “.

DAILY READING; • Acts 8:1b-25; Deuteronomy 33-34; Job 20

In 2021, the New York Times and other major media houses reported the amazing story of a Christian teenager who spent 14 terrifying hours on the shark infested Atlantic Ocean without being harmed.
15-year-old Frankie Icenhour was on a summer vacation in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with his family when he decided to take a float in the water around 7pm. He was in his 4-foot rubber air raft, when a strong tide suddenly came and swept him out to the sea.
Frankie tried to row back to the beach, but couldn’t. He didn’t know how to swim, so the waves continued to carry him and his raft, farther and farther out to sea. At that time, most of the lifeguards and the other tourists had gone home, so no one could hear his cry or help him.
However, in this moment of danger, Scripture verses began to flood his mind. He recalled God’s promise to never leave nor forsake him and believed God would somehow rescue him. Rather than fear, he started praising God for his deliverance and sang songs like ‘Amazing Grace’.
As it got darker, a shark began to circle him and swam under the raft. Eventually the shark left, without attacking him.
Frank kept praising God for many hours, even as it got darker and he drifted further.
Meanwhile, Frank’s family had alerted the authorities. They continued to pray even as rescue planes scanned the sea looking for him. Miraculously, after 14 hours, he was finally located by a shipping boat. By that time, Frank had drifted about six miles away from where he had entered the water. After his rescue, Frank told the Media that he was saved against all odds through his faith in God.

Indeed praising God will always keep us afloat and stop us from drowning in the troubled waters of life.
In Acts 16, Paul and Silas found themselves in deep trouble. They had been beaten and thrown into prison and their situation looked bleak and hopeless.
But rather than despair, at midnight, they arose and praised God. In the midst of their praise, there was a mighty earthquake, that broke the prison doors and delivered from the dungeon.
Because God inhabits the praises of His people, through praise, we create room for Him to come in and change negative situations for us.
As this year begins to round up, you may have one reason or the other to be worried, but rather that despair, switch to praise. Never forget that God crowns the year with good things and in this last month, He has concluded a definite plan of divine completion for you. All you have been believing God for this year can still come to pass. It is never too late. Understand that God is greater than any situation that you may be confronted with, therefore, rather than fret or worry, maintain your praise.

Nehemiah 8:10 says ” ‘Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength’ “.

As long as you retain you joy, you will triumph in the end. If you refuse to be depressed, the enemy cannot oppress you. Therefore in this season, let your heart be strong in God’s Word and keep your faith. As you bless the Lord at all times, God shall surprise you with 11th hour miracles and cause you to finish this year, well and strong.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for last minute miracles and unexpected blessings that will gloriously crown this year for me. Please grant me the grace to keep praising You in every situation in Jesus Name.

DECEMBER 11; GOD DESERVES ALL THE PRAISE!

Psalm 18:46-48 ‘ The Lord liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted. It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me. He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me:’

DAILY READING• • Acts 7:23-8:1a; Deuteronomy 31-32; Job 19

The story of the famed Brooklyn Tabernacle choir is nothing short of a miracle because it was a dream that was almost terminated by initially discouraging beginnings.
In the 1970’s Jim Cymbala and his wife Carol, began pastoring the Brooklyn Tabernacle in a tough inner-city neighborhood in New York. They had so much discouragement until they felt defeated and ready to quit. But during that dark period, Jim Cymbala received a distinct call from God to begin a season of prayers.
As he obeyed this divine instruction, it marked the beginning of new things. His wife, Carol Cymbala felt led to start a choir to glorify God.
Though she could not read sheet music, had no formal music training, she started the choir with eight people and they became dedicated to giving God quality praise.
The choir grew through people saved from the streets which included former drug addicts, prostitutes, gangsters, etc. These people became united by gratitude for being rescued from the bowels of sin and destruction.
When the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir is in concert, these people who have been redeemed by the Lord sing their hearts out to Him. Often their faces glisten with tears running down their cheeks as they sing about God’s work of redemption and forgiveness in their lives.
The unique passion and zest of the choir has made them famous around the world. Today, the 300 member Brooklyn Tabernacle choir has recorded 40 albums, won seven Dove Awards and six Grammy Awards. They have featured in prestigious events including singing at the 2012 American Presidential inauguration in Washington, DC.

As the redeemed of the Lord, we all have reasons to be grateful. No one else knows like we do the depths from which God has rescued us.
We know the many times, we didn’t deserve God’s goodness or merit His mercy, yet He showed up to deliver us.
If it had not been for The Lord on our side, where would we be?
Therefore today, let nothing stop your praise, let nothing hinder your worship. God deserves all the praise and honour.
This year, God has given us victories in battles seen and unseen. He has delivered us from enemies known and unknown. By His grace we survived those sicknesses and evil attacks that almost took us out. Indeed our God is good.
Today, let us pour out our worship to the Lord just like the woman that broke her alabaster box at the feet of Jesus. She knew she didn’t deserve the Lord’s mercy. She should have been dead yet the Lord had shown up to save her. That also is our story.
Sometimes people may not understand our praise. They may not understand the depths of our worship. They may not understand why you cry when you lift your hands in worship, and even why you roll on the ground. But then, they were not there in the midnight hour when God delivered you and made a way, where there was no way.
From our greatest days to our deepest struggles, God has always been faithful.
Therefore today, from our innermost being let us offer to Him worthy worship because He has delivered us from our enemies and lifted us up above those that rise up against us. [Psalm 18:46-48].

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to learn to look beyond any current challenge and keep my eyes on Your many blessings in my life this year. Truly You have been good and I give You all the praise and glory now and forever in Jesus Name.
