Charles S. Price was once a pastor of a small church in California who held strong prejudices against Pentecostal revival meetings. When news spread that evangelist Aimee Semple McPherson was coming to their town to hold crusades, Charles Price became very critical of her ministry. Based on negative reports he had heard from others, he concluded she was merely emotional and deceptive. Determined to expose her, he attended one of the meetings expecting to find error.
To his surprise, the service was deeply rooted in Scripture.
The following day, despite already being a pastor, he publicly responded to the altar call in repentance and humility. During the meetings, he experienced a fresh encounter with the Holy Spirit that completely transformed his life and ministry.
That encounter became the turning point that launched Charles S. Price into a powerful international healing and evangelistic ministry that impacted multitudes around the world.

Romans 12:18 says, “If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.” This Scripture reminds us that as believers, we must allow love—not prejudice, pride, offense, or assumptions—to guide our attitude toward people.
Many times, we form opinions about others based on rumors, appearances, misunderstandings, or past experiences. But love teaches us to be patient, gracious, and slow to judge.
Charles Price nearly missed a divine encounter because of prejudice. Thankfully, humility opened his heart to God’s truth.
Love helps us to see people from God’s perspective. It keeps our hearts free from bitterness, suspicion, and unnecessary conflict. 1 Corinthians 13:5 says that love “thinketh no evil.” True love does not rush to condemn or assume the worst.
We live in a broken world and as children of God, we are called to be peacemakers and carriers of Christ’s love.
When love guides our actions, men are blessed and God is glorified.

PRAYER:
Lord, please grant me today a fresh encounter with Your Word that will generate divine love in my heart for people. Help me to walk in humility, peace, and understanding toward others, in Jesus’ Name.
