Dwight L. Moody was a man who did not look like a likely candidate for global impact. Moody was a shoemaker who had little formal education and was raised in poverty. His father died when he was just a child, leaving his mother to struggle through hardship while raising her family. Nothing about Moody’s early life suggested worldwide influence.
Yet something marked him — an unshakable trust in God.
In 1872, while attending a meeting in Dublin, he heard a statement that pierced his heart: “The world has yet to see what God can do with a man fully consecrated to Him.” That sentence would not leave him.
Soon after, he listened to the powerful preaching of Charles Spurgeon. From this teaching, Moody realized that spiritual impact was not about education or status — it was about surrender to Christ.
That was the turning point in his life.
Moody made a firm decision: his life would belong entirely to God. He began to press into prayer, immerse himself in Scripture, and depend fully on the power of Christ. In time, he experienced a fresh infilling of God’s power that transformed his ministry.
The once-ordinary shoemaker became one of the most influential evangelists of the nineteenth century.

Revelation 12:11 unveils a mystery of dominion. It says,
“They overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony.”
Every believer who rises above oppression, limitation, fear, failure, and demonic resistance does so on two unshakable foundations — the Blood and the Word.
The Blood of Jesus is divine evidence and eternal proof that the price has been paid in full for our redemption. The Blood is Heaven’s legal document that secures our victory.
But this victory is not automatic — it is enforced.
The Word of God in our mouth becomes the activating force of what the Blood has secured for us. When we speak God’s Word in faith, we align our earthly reality with Heaven’s verdict.
By the Blood and the Word, we silence accusations, dismantle fear, overturn negative patterns, and push back darkness.
Overcoming in life does not happen by chance. It happens when a believer stands on Christ’s finished work and refuses to speak anything contrary to it.
Therefore today, no matter the battle — whether in your health, family, destiny, or calling — remember this: the Blood has already won the war, and the Word in your mouth enforces the victory.
This month, let us determine to walk by faith and march forward until we arrive at the victory and blessings God has ordained for us.

PRAYER:
Lord, I thank You for igniting fresh fire and fervency in me to study Your Word diligently. Please help me to pay the necessary spiritual price so that I can experience an eruption of Your power and miracles in my life, in Jesus’ Name.
