King Solomon was the wisest and richest king in history. The Bible records that silver was as common as stones in his palace, and his gold came from Ophir—a location that has remained one of history’s greatest mysteries. For centuries, explorers, scientists, and theologians have searched the world for Solomon’s hidden gold.
One such seeker is Tahir Shah, a writer and documentary filmmaker, and grandson of a man who once led expeditions in search of Solomon’s mines. His quest took hin across Yemen, Sudan, and Ethiopia—the land believed to be linked to Solomon through the Queen of Sheba. In his travels, Tahir Shah climbed rugged mountains, explored ancient ruins, and scoured remote caves in search of the lost gold. But every effort led to a dead end. His journey is chronicled in his book ‘In Search of King Solomon’s Mines”.

The secret to Solomon’s greatness is not located the gold mines but in his mind which was aligned with God’s will. The Bible says Solomon loved the Lord and expressed that love through extravagant worship, offering a thousand burnt offerings. When God appeared to him, Solomon did not ask for riches, fame, or long life—he asked for wisdom. In response, God said, “Because you have not asked for wealth or the life of your enemies, but for wisdom, I will give you what you did not ask for—riches and honor like no other king before you.”
Solomon sought divine wisdom, and wealth sought him. He pursued God, and everything others chase began to chase him. This is the principle Jesus revealed in Matthew 6:33—“Seek first the Kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added unto you.”
God’s priority is still the same today. When you make Him first, He makes you foremost. When you pursue His kingdom, He ensures every good thing pursues you. You cannot love God and lose in life. Every genuine lover of God is a rising star, a trailblazer, and a pacesetter.

Solomon’s story proves that wisdom is the true wealth of Heaven. The wisdom that comes from above opens doors no man can shut. It reveals strategies that create prosperity, honor, and peace. When you seek wisdom, by seeking first God’s Kingdom, truly everything else shall be added unto you.

PRAYER
Lord, help me to make You my highest pursuit. Let my heart burn with love for You and Your Kingdom. Grant me divine wisdom to live, lead, and prosper according to Your purpose. May my life reflect Your glory and draw men to You, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
