In the ongoing war against Hamas and other regional threats, Israel remains surrounded by hostility. Yet this small nation has continued to survive and greatly thrive in the midst of enemies through the application of strategic and superior intelligence.
This pattern is not new. In 1967, Israel faced a similar existential threat when Egypt, Jordan, and Syria joined forces to annihilate her. With limited manpower and no guarantee of international support, Israel turned to strategy instead of strength. In a daring move, her leaders launched Operation Focus, a preemptive airstrike that destroyed the Egyptian and Syrian air forces within hours. That one act of tactical brilliance completely shifted the balance of power and secured Israel’s victory in the Six-Day War.
Today, even in the face of rocket attacks, cyber warfare, and global pressure, Israel’s survival still depends on precise intelligence, calculated timing, and disciplined restraint. Their story reminds us that victory in life’s battles is not always about who has the biggest army, but who has the greater intelligence and counsel.
This same principle applies spiritually. No matter how fierce the warfare around you, divine strategy from Heaven will always outsmart your enemy’s devices. For indeed, “Wisdom is better than weapons of war” (Ecclesiastes 9:18). One Word from God can turn any crisis into a testimony of triumph.
Scripture tells us, “By wise counsel thou shalt make thy war” (Proverbs 24:6). Divine wisdom is Heaven’s secret code for winning impossible battles. When we face pressure, opposition, or uncertainty, what we need most is not might or speed but strategy.
Daniel understood this truth when King Nebuchadnezzar decreed death for all wise men of Babylon. Daniel didn’t panic; he requested time to seek God’s wisdom. That quiet moment before God brought the revelation that changed the king’s decree and preserved many lives. Likewise, when you pause to hear Heaven’s strategy, you position yourself for supernatural advantage.
Many believers lose battles because they act before listening. The enemy’s greatest tactic is urgency, making you feel pressured to decide, react, or fight prematurely. But Isaiah 30:15 declares, “In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.”
Victories are born in stillness, not in panic.
God’s wisdom is both defensive and offensive, it shields you from wrong moves and empowers you for right results. One divine idea can overturn years of struggle. James 1:5 assures us, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God… and it shall be given him.” When we wait on the Lord, He renews our strength, sharpens our discernment, and gives us the strategy that guarantees triumph and leads us to glory.
PRAYER:
Lord, grant me the grace to wait in Your Presence until I receive divine counsel. Let Your wisdom guide every step I take and secure my victory in every season, in Jesus’ Name.
