Psalm 34:9-10 ‘O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.’

As a musician, Kirk Martin was so desperate for success that he was willing to do anything—even turn his back on God.
Martin was brought up in a loving Christian family. But after suffering abuse at the hands of some older boys at church, Martin became disillusioned about Christianity. As he grew older, he got into heavy cocaine use and criminal activities.
He later went into heavy metal music and formed a small band. Martin wanted great fame and success and desperately sought a recording contract.
After suffering several setbacks, he decided to make a pact with the devil to give him success in exchange for using his music to send people to hell.
Two days later, he was shocked to be called for a huge recording contract, which he knew was from the devil. But just before he could sign the papers, he had an angelic encounter. A man he believed was an angel met him, told him God still loved him, and then disappeared into thin air.
Martin was totally shaken by this experience. Then, a month later, he was awakened early in the morning to a divine encounter with God that made him finally totally surrender his life to Christ. Thereafter, he turned his back on worldly music and never signed the recording contract. As he began to use his musical talent to serve God, massive doors of success began to open, and now Kirk ministers all around the world, using his music to turn many souls to Christ.

Today, many people are so desperate for breakthroughs that they are willing to do anything to obtain them. But faith in God is the key to success in life.
Pursuing after the heart of God is the secret card to experiencing unending progress.
Psalm 34:10 says, “But those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.”
When we seek God and His kingdom, good things run after us. Indeed, what you seek after determines what seeks after you. And putting God first in all our affairs causes success to come after us. When we give God our best, He’ll certainly take care of the rest.
God is the maker of men’s destinies, and it is only through following Him that we become made in life (Matt. 4:19). The truth is that all the labor of man is in vain except when the Lord builds the house [Psalm 127:1].
When you put God first, you will never end up last. And when you advance His kingdom, He will advance your endeavors and perfect all that concerns you.
To overcome stagnation and truly break forth on every side, we need to let God take first place in our affairs. As we continually give Him the glory, He will certainly change our story.
Mighty men are made by the Almighty God. He is the Most High God, and all who sincerely seek Him end up in the high places of life.

PRAYER:
Lord, I thank You for the grace to always seek the advancement of Your kingdom. As I put You first in all my affairs, I thank You for divine additions, breakthroughs, and all-around success in Jesus’ Name.
