Psalm 91:15 “Because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.’

Dr. Linda Mintle is a respected Christian author, speaker, and counselor. She once shared a story of how God miraculously answered her family’s prayers.
One Easter period, she and her husband with their
two young children were driving to Michigan from Virginia to spend Easter with her parents. They had driven through the night and stopped for gas at one of those self-service stops on the Interstate toll-road in Ohio. It was about 4 a.m, the weather was cold and it was snowing. They found no one else at the pay-at-the-pump fuel station. They filled up their van and started to drive away when the vehicle started to sputter, then stopped. They were still about three hours away from their destination. With nobody around, they had no way to get help. They didn’t even know how to call a tow truck in that area– particularly on Easter morning out in the middle of nowhere. Linda’s husband then instructed them to lay hands on the car and pray. It may have seemed ridiculous but they knew the power of prayers..They prayed over the van and Linda’s husband tried to start it– but nothing happened.
He urged them, ‘Let’s do it again, and really believe God will help us. He lives and is here with us.’
The second time, they prayed, the van started. They prayed the entire way for the three hours it took to drive to Linda’s parents’ house. Just as they pulled in to their driveway early in the morning, there the van died. But God had miraculously gotten them safely to their destination!
God is ever ready to answer our prayers, whether great or small.
While Jesus was on the Cross, He had so much He needed to focus on, yet He still had the time to answer the prayer of the thief who was crucified next to Him.
God’s readiness to answer prayers was exemplified during Jesus’ earthly ministry, when He would often stop on the roadside, to answer the cry of people like blind Bartimeus, who needed a miracle.
God is always our way maker and our bridge over troubled waters.
When we sincerely call upon Him in any situation, He will answer us and show Himself mighty on our behalf.
When faced with difficult circumstances, you have a choice to either settle with the problem or dare to trust God and pray with boldness, believing for a miracle.
God says that when we open our mouths wide, He will fill it. Therefore how wide we open our mouth in prayer determines the extent of what God will do for us.
God is ever ready to do something wondrous in our lives, but we need to be bold in asking for what we desire.
We can never reach our greatest potential through our own limited efforts and abilities. We need God to intervene supernaturally, do miracles and wonders, open impossible doors, and turn around the odds in our favor.
Therefore today, refuse to settle for less or accept any negative condition around you. There is miracle power in your mouth to change that situation. There is healing, deliverance, freedom and dominion in your mouth.
When you fill your heart with faith through the study of God’s Word, and pray with boldness, there will be a change of story.
No matter how grim any situation, always remember that Christ has redeemed you to be the victor, and not a victim.
Each time the enemy tries to get you into a fix, rather than panic, switch to prayers and praise. Instead of fretting, let us keep blessing the Lord. Certainly, through the power in the Blood of Jesus, we will always overcome.
PRAYER: Father by the power in the Blood of Jesus, I know I can never be stranded in any situation.
Thank You Lord for always being my way-maker, my chain-breaker and miracle worker and always opening greater doors for me in Jesus Name.
