Micah 7:7–8, [TLB] ‘As for me, I look to the Lord for his help; I wait for God to save me; he will hear me. Do not rejoice against me, O my enemy, for though I fall, I will rise again! When I sit in darkness, the Lord himself will be my Light.’

Curtis Carroll is a prisoner, but he is famous today, because he overcame poverty, illiteracy and incarceration to become a highly sought-after stock investor.
Carroll grew up in Oakland, California in a vicious neighborhood, where his uncle trained him to be a burglar. In 1996, at 17 years old, Curtis committed a robbery where a man was killed. He turned himself in and ended up in prison with a 54 years sentence.
While in prison Curtis encountered Christ and became born again. His life was not only transformed spiritually he also began to experience a positive transformation in other areas. He had entered prison as a stark illiterate, but gradually by the time he was 21 years, he had taught himself to read and write.
He also learned about financial investment and began studying the stock market from books in the prison library. Soon he became so successful at picking stocks, that it earned him the nickname “The Oracle of San Quentin,”
He didn’t keep his knowledge to himself and soon started a Financial Literacy Program and created a philosophy he called F.E.E.L (Financial Empowerment Emotional Literacy) . This program teaches people to recognize how their emotions affect their financial decision.
Curtis is celebrated by the media for his amazing life transformation and he has received a lot of public recognition and attention. Already he has almost served half the years of his sentence and with the financial wealth he has been earning he is well-positioned to live a successful life when finally released.
Curtis said in a media interview “I want to give all glory to God, because without Him I wouldn’t look or feel like this. Freedom is a mental state, not a physical one. I remain cheerful due to God’s grace..’

Indeed how we respond to challenges determines whether we are beaten or blessed, whether we are victims or victors.

Micah 7:7–8, (TLB) says ‘As for me, I look to the Lord for his help; I wait for God to save me; he will hear me. Do not rejoice against me, O my enemy, for though I fall, I will rise again!’

From the above Scripture it appeared that prophet Micah was in a low place, but in the middle of the difficulty, he was still speaking victory and declaring that he will rise again.
It doesn’t matter how low a man may fall, through God’s help he can rise up to even greater heights.
If you failed in any endeavor, or a door was closed against you, don’t let that keep you from rising again, always remember that down is not your destiny, and defeat is not how your story ends.
Staying down is failure accepted but getting back up is faith activated!
As you stay in faith, God can turn that battlefield into your blessing field. What should have defeated you can turn around to increase you. It’s a matter of perspective. When you face tough times, have the perspective that God can bless you in the valley.
As long as you are walking in line with God, what may seem like a prison can eventually lead you to a palace. The closed door can lead to new doors of greater possibilities.

Whatever negative situation you may have experienced is not the end of you. That setback could be a set-up for your greater comeback. Indeed the plan of the enemy will backfire and ultimately end up, serving God’s perfect purpose for your life.
Therefore refuse to give in to negative emotions and allow them to keep you from God’s blessings and promotion. Fix your eyes on Jesus and on His Word. God is at work in your life.
It doesn’t matter what goes on around you, what matters most is what goes on inside you. As you hold on to God’s Word and remain strong in faith, what may appear like trouble and turbulence, will end up leading to a change of level, greater growth and increase.
Today, let us continually praise God in every situation because certainly He is turning around what the enemy meant for evil to all work out for our good.

PRAYER: Lord please help me to always see You at work in my life no matter what things may look like. Thank You Lord that even right now, You are working out everything together for my good in Jesus Name. .
