Proverbs 3:5-6 ‘Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths’

Impalas are medium-sized antelopes that roam the savanna and light woodlands of eastern and southern Africa.
Impalas are fleet runners who are able to leap distances of up to 33 feet. They use this technique to escape predators, such as lions. Once an alert impala spots a predator, it would bark out an alarm that puts the entire herd to flight—and a fleeing impala is not an easy prey for a predator to catch..
Typically, a running impala will simply jump over anything in its path. It can also clear bushes and other obstacles by soaring some 10 feet in the air.
The impala has two characteristic leaps. It can jump as high as 3 meters, even jumping over other impalas, and covering a distance of 10 meters in one bounce. Its smaller jumps involve kicking with its hind legs midair and leaping in many different directions, ostensibly to confuse predators.
While the African impala can jump so high and cover such a great distance, yet these magnificent creatures can be kept in an enclosure in any zoo with a 3-foot wall.
The reason why these animals cannot jump over the low wall and escape is because the Impala will not jump if they cannot see where their feet will fall.
As long the low wall obscures its view of the outside ground, the impala is afraid to take the necessary leap to freedom.

Fear can be paralyzing. Fear is a self-imposed prison that will keep a person from taking leaps to freedom.
A lot of humans are afraid to take risks and would rather stay bound where they are, because they do not know what lies on the other side.
Faith is the ability to trust God and move in obedience even when we do not see the whole picture.
It takes faith to step out and do what God calls us to do.

Indeed it will take faith to go beyond the barriers and limitations of your mind to embrace the big dreams that God places in your heart.
God does not give you a vision according to your ability, rather He gives you according to His own capability.
Any assignment God gives you will be bigger than what you can handle on your own. Therefore to see it accomplished, it will take great faith in God’s divine abilities..
Faith is being willing to walk off the map and jump, when God says so, without questioning where you would land, because you know that God is too faithful to fail.
When God called Abraham out of his homeland, Abraham did not know where he was going but he believed in God and trusted in His promises.

Hebrews 11:8-14 says ‘By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.’

Abraham did not ask many questions. He stepped out trusting God. In the end we saw how God took him to a good land and blessed him beyond measure.
Whenever God calls us, He calls us to glory and virtue and never to shame. So instead of fearing we must follow Him in faith.
Whatever, we encounter on the way, we must focus on God’s promise and not on the problems. We are to always trust in the Lord with all our heart without leaning on our own understanding.
Our five physical senses can be agents of unbelief, we must therefore rely on the sixth sense of faith.
The truth is that it is only what you believe that you can achieve. You cannot go higher than your thoughts and you cannot do greater than what you believe you can.
It is therefore necessary to keep our faith strong, by feeding constantly on the Word of God.
We must not know every detail of the journey before we step out. But as we trust God to be our shepherd, He will surely lead us to our green pastures where we shall not want or lack any good thing.

PRAYER: Father please help me to drop limiting thoughts of unbelief. Please enable me to daily strengthen my faith through feeding on Your Words so that I can accomplish the great vision You have in store for me in Jesus’ Name.
