Numbers 23:19 ‘God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?’

The Moravian Slaves is a popular story about the first Moravian missionaries; Johann Leonhard Dober and David Nitschmann. These two men were part of the Moravian brethren who were a group of firebrand believers who lived in Germany in the 18th century. .
In 1732, Johann and David felt called to minister to the African slaves on the islands of Danish West Indies. But they were told by the government that they would not be allowed to enter the slave territory. They then decided to sell themselves to a slave owner so as to be allowed to travel as slaves to the island.
But this decision was considered absurd and laughable and no ship agreed to transport them.
Though they faced many bitter disappointments yet they remained steadfast in what they were called to do and clung to God’s Word in Numbers 23:19 which says that what God has spoken, He is able to do.
Somehow their mission was brought to the attention of the Dutch queen who graciously assisted them. A ship bound for the West Indies was found for them and these two brethren embarked on their trip to the slave islands.
In spite of the many difficulties and dangers of the journey, they finally arrived on the island of St. Thomas two months later and began preaching to the slaves.
Many of these slaves looked up to the two brethren as teachers sent from God. Their work brought spiritual revival that spread to many people on the island leading to the establishing of churches and baptizing of thousands of new converts.

Despite the oppositions they faced, these two Monrovian brethren pressed forward till they attained their goals.
Likewise, we must be willing to do whatever it takes to obey God and fulfill His purpose for our lives.
There’s a calling upon your life, an assignment that God has ordained for you to accomplish in this generation.
Therefore, never allow any resistance on your way to abort your purpose. Don’t let difficulties cut short the journey to your divine destination.
Those times when it seems things will never work, may just be the very place and time that the tide will turn in your favor. Therefore rather than focus on the problem, learn to focus on the promise. Keep praising God in every situation.
When God gives you a definite Word, you must be prepared to fight the good fight of faith. You must learn to disregard discouragements and persist until you see the manifestation.
God says what He means and He means what He says.
Even if God’s promises appear to be just the opposite of what you see, you must continue to trust in His Word.
Talk faith in the face of fear, talk strength in the face of weakness, declare health in the face of sickness, speak life in the face of death, talk victory in the face of defeat.
Don’t be intimidated by challenges because oftentimes, giants are the first sign that you are on the road to your Canaan.
Always remember that the enemy fights what he fears. The reason why he fiercely resists your progress is to distract you from your divine purpose. But refuse to give up or give in. Continue to diligently seek God’s face through studying the Word, fasting, prayer and praise.
If you keep pressing forward, you will soon see how each goliath on your way has only helped to propel you forward to your throne. Certainly, God, causes all things to work together for our good.
Having paid the price of persistence in prayers and fasting in this season, let us get ready to see the promise of revival and eruption of fire. It is indeed our time to experience mighty manifestations of glory, miracles signs and wonders.
According to Zechariah 9:12, God will give us double for our trouble. Certainly, He will open the Heavens over us and cause His blessings to chase us down and overtake us in every direction.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for the strength and tenacity You have granted me to go through these days of fasting and prayers. Thank You Lord, for Your abundant blessings that are about to overflow my life in Jesus Name.
