DAILY READING; • Luke 22:1-38; Genesis 39; Psalm 30

Samuel Kaboo Morris was a Liberian prince born in 1873. He converted to Christianity around the age of 14.

Soon after his conversion, their tribe was attacked by another tribe and Samuel was captured.
While in captivity, he was treated cruelly. But one day, while receiving severe beatings, there was a flash of light and Kaboo heard a voice telling him to flee. He then fled to the jungle, where he wandered for days until he came to a coffee plantation where other Christians were working.
Kaboo joined them and later took the name Samuel Morris.
Around age 18, he felt motivated to travel to America to study. He found passage on a ship to New York in exchange for work. On board, he became known for his frequent prayers and before the end of the five-month journey, many of the crew became converted to Christianity.

Arriving in America, his Christian qualities shone so brightly that at a time of great racism, the white people in the community, contributed funds to send him to college. He enrolled at Taylor University, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Again, he so impacted the school that
Newspapers printed stories of “the boy from Africa who was charging Fort Wayne with the electric power of God”.

People from around the world would come to the college just to hear him speak.
Though he lived a short life, Samuel Kaboo has become the subject of five novels, over a dozen biographies, a 1954 film, and a 1988 documentary.
Also Taylor University has named numerous buildings, scholarships, and a society in his honor.

The fight and resistance against great destinies actually begin early in life.
However, with God’s help, it doesn’t matter what may come against you, you will not only survive, you will also thrive and flourish.

The truth is that when God is with you no matter how weak or disadvantaged you may be, you will be turned into a wonder.

As long as you have vision, even in the desert, you will still flourish. Those who perish are only those who lose their vision and then stop seeing their way forward.

Despite any obstacles, always remember that
God is taking you somewhere.
Your path is destined to keep shinning brighter and brighter.

You may not see how now, but as you keep walking in faith, great and effectual doors will open before you, despite the many adversaries.
You may pass through the fire and high water, but very soon you are coming into your wealthy place..
Through God’s divine ability in you, every obstacle will be turned into a miracle.

Especially, in this new month, it is time to trust God for mind-blowing testimonies.
Determine that this year will not end without you experiencing your own portion of wonders.

As you stay focused on God’s Word and constant prayers, you will build the faith for your miracle..

All things are possible to him that believes! And as you continue to believe and declare God’s Word over you, surely, you will receive the promise of wonders.

PRAYER: Lord, please help me to be totally dependent upon You, so that by Your power I can always overcome. I thank You Lord that even right now, You are doing amazing wonders in my life in Jesus Name. .
