2 Peter 3:9, (NIV)
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you…”

In 2014, many News outlets reported the amazing story of a California toddler who survived a three-story fall. He was saved by a couple who were moving into a new home, who threw a mattress under the boy just in time before he plunged to the ground.
This couple, Konrad and Jennifer Lighter, it seemed, had been divinely delayed just so that they could be at the right place at the right time to rescue this toddler.
About an hour earlier, as they were bringing down their mattress, the elevator had suddenly stopped working. Stuck in the elevator, they called for help and waited and waited before the maintenance service arrived to get them out. Frustrated by the delay, as they were, carrying their mattress toward their truck they saw a three year old child clamber out of a third-floor apartment window. As the child dangled on the balcony railing they knew he was in danger and yelled at him to go back inside the apartment, but he wouldn’t listen. They were so alarmed that they rushed over with the mattress and positioned it as best they could underneath where the boy was dangling. In a few seconds, this little boy fell off the third-story balcony and landed right on their mattress. He was totally unharmed
They later learned that the child was autistic and didn’t hear when they were yelling at him to go back inside.
This amazing rescue story was widely reported in the News, and thrust Jennifer and Konrad Lighter into public acclaim and sudden popularity..

While this couple were frustrated by the faulty elevator, they didn’t know it was a divine delay.
Sometimes God has to slow us down to get us to be at the right place at the right time in His plan.
The Bible says that the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. (Psalm 37:23)
So many times, our ordinary comings and goings seem insignificant, when in fact they are being ordered by the Lord to allign with His divine purpose. .
As we trust Him, God controls our lives and holds our destiny in His hand.
Some of the seeming setbacks and disappointments we may encounter often turn out to be blessings in disguise.
The delays, adversities, and closed doors could all be working to push us into our next level of destiny.
At the time, we may not understand it, but faith is trusting God’s divine strategy, even when it doesn’t seem to make sense.
While it may seem as if you are facing oppositions, God is actually creating opportunities.

While we may be focusing on the present frustration, unknown to us, God is orchestrating and shifting things in our favor. Indeed we serve the God of divine restoration who can cause setbacks to become the setup for our success.
As long as we trust in Him as our shepherd, He will lead us to our green pastures in life.
Certainly, we will live a more peaceful life when we learn to always trust and obey God, knowing that He is strategically ordering our every step..
Indeed as we continue to trust in Him and praise Him in every situation, He will surely cause all things to work together for our good! .

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for Your continual faithfulness in my life. I praise and bless You because even right now I know You are turning around every situation to my favor, , and turning every mourning into dancing for me in Jesus Name.
