1 Corinthians 15:10 ‘But by the grace of God I am what I am.’
DAILY READING; John 8:1-20; 2 Chronicles 1:1-2:16; Zechariah14
Zach Williams was raised in the church amongst a warm and loving community. His grew up in a Christian home where his dad led worship in Church and His mom sang on the worship team with him. They were in church every Sunday and every Wednesday. His parents planted the seed and foundation of God’s Word in him at an early age in life.
But like most kids, Zach wanted to find his way. He thought he knew more than his parents. When he turned 15 years old, worldly desires began to take him over.
He started experimenting with drugs and alcohol and started running around with the wrong crowd. By senior year of high school, he found himself jumping out of school. Despite all these, his parents always prayed for him believing that God had a plan for his life. They used to pray Jeremiah 29:11 over him.
By his late twenties and early thirties, Zach tried to be a rock star and live the lifestyle of a typical rocker. He was recording and touring for three years with his band Zach Williams & The Reformation—living life on a cliff-edge.
However, that lifestyle only made him miserable as he kept failing in his music and even his marriage came to the brink of failing.
One day while on a music tour, he heard a song on the radio that began his journey of redemption. As he listened to the song ‘Redeemed’ by Big Daddy Weave on the radio, he felt the presence of God and his life suddenly radically altered.
Zach cancelled his next show, cancelled his whole tour and quit the band and headed back home to be with his family.
He came home from the tour, sick and tired of his life. He fell on his hands and knees in his bedroom floor and gave it all over to Jesus. He asked God to just come and save him.
From then on, Zach began to see the wonder of God’s amazing grace.
As God took over his life, Zach began to experience real success. His first faith-based album ‘Chain Breaker’ was a resounding success that won a Grammy Award and established Zach Williams as a major Gospel Artiste.
Certainly, it is God’s grace that makes the race great.
Our breakthrough does not lie in our own strength, because by strength shall no man prevail (1 Samuel 2:9).
Our breakthrough lies in the help of God, because it is His grace that makes the difference in any life.
Grace is the tangible and undeniable hand of God on a man’s life that can lift him from a zero to a hero.
In order to be a wonder, we need to operate above the realms of human smartness, skill and intelligence and exceed our human capacity, and this is what grace does for us.
The grace of God is one of the vital mysteries for speedy elevation in life.
We do not succeed in life by power or might, only by the help of the Spirit of God.
The covenant secret that turns around the stories of men is the grace of God. When divine grace is at work in your life, you will enjoy ceaseless and outstanding breakthroughs.
We need to value the power of grace in our lives because those who do not appreciate the place of grace end up in disgrace.
Certainly, without Christ we can do nothing, but through Him we can do all things.
The grace of God is what makes men to be great.
In 1 Corinthians 15:10 Apostle Paul says, ‘But by the grace of God I am what I am.’
Indeed, every story of greatness is rooted in God’s grace, and we connect to grace through God’s Word. The Word of God is what provides us strength and stamina for the race of life. The force of faith in the Word is what moves men forward.
If you have faced stagnation or lack of growth in any area of your life this year, it is time to connect to God’s grace through His Word for a forceful turnaround of the situation.
The power in the Word will push you forward and break every barrier resisting your progress
As we begin to engage the grace of God’s today, certainly our desired turnaround shall be delivered to us and we shall become truly unstoppable in Jesus Name.
PRAYER
Lord, please grant me the grace to always diligently study Your Word so that I can receive strength for supernatural progress. Thank You for destroying every form of stagnation in my life. Indeed, in this new month, I am moving forward to become a wonder to my generation in Jesus’ Name.
