1 John 5:14 says ‘And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us ‘

George Mueller was an evangelist and great Christian leader of the 19th century. He is considered one of the greatest men of prayer and faith who ever lived.
George Mueller’s life exemplified how much could be accomplished by prayer and faith. While serving as the pastor of Gideon chapel in Bristol in 1832, he accepted no salary but chose to daily believe the Lord to meet his needs. He constantly fed on God’s Word to build up his faith to believe for great things.
While at Bristol, George built orphanages that eventually cared for more than ten thousand orphans. Yet, he never made the needs of the orphanage known to anyone except to God in prayers. The history of the Bristol orphanages is page after page of answered prayers. George Mueller had over fifty thousand specific answers to prayers recorded in his journals. In amazing ways the Lord directed funds to him throughout his sixty-six years of ministry. Most of these prayers were answered the same day or the same hour that he prayed them. God funneled over half a billion dollars through his hands in answer to prayer.
An excerpt from his journal on June 15, 1837 reads – ‘To the Glory of the Lord, whose I am, and whom I serve, I would state again, that every shilling of this money, and all the articles of clothing and furniture, which have been mentioned in the foregoing pages, have been given to me, without one single individual having been asked by me for anything.”
These narratives from his journal are compiled in the book ‘Answers to prayers’, which is George Muller’s public testimony of the power of prayer.

George Muller’s life shows us that God indeed answers prayers.
There is no limit to the answers God will give us when we pray. He has asked us to open our mouth wide and He will fill it. [Psalm 81:10]
God is able to move Heaven and earth on our behalf, but He’s only waiting for us to sincerely open our mouth in prayer and call upon Him. The tragedy of our day is not unanswered prayer, but unoffered prayer.
In Psalm 2:8, God says to us ‘Ask of Me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.’
God is encouraging us to ask Him for great things. He’s the God who cannot fail. He is the God to whom nothing is impossible. He created the whole universe and owns all the silver and gold. He is just waiting to show us His awesome power.
Indeed as far as our eyes can see, God is able to give to us. However why it seems we are sometimes limited in prayers is because of the level of our faith.

Matthew 21:22 says “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.”

It is when we believe, that we receive. Faith is the catalyst for answered prayers. Faith from the Word, gives us the boldness to approach God’s throne of grace with the confidence that guarantees us answers.
Indeed God is too faithful to fail. Therefore if we are not seeing answers to our prayers, we must check ourselves. Perhaps, it could be because we are regarding iniquity in the heart [Psalm 66:18] or we are asking amiss [James 4:2-3]. But when we sincerely pray according to God’s will, He is bound by covenant to answer us.

1 John 5:14 says ‘And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us ‘
God’s will is consistent with His word. When we pray in line with His Word, His supernatural power is released to meet our needs. Also praying in the Holy Ghost enables us to pray in line with God’s Will. And thanksgiving seals the answers to our prayers [1 Thessalonians 5:18].
In this season of fasting and praying, let us not limit what God can do in our lives. As we begin to believe Him for supernatural answers, certainly, the mighty manifestation of His power will turn us into a wonder.

PRAYER; Father, I thank You for the great and mighty things You are set to do in my life. Thank You Lord for granting me supernatural answers to my prayers. By Your grace I am certainly becoming a wonder this year in Jesus Name.
