DAILY READING – Luke 6:27-49; Genesis 6:1-7:24; Psalm 3
It is one of the shortest, yet most amazing wars in history! In June 1967, four strong Arab nations- Egypt, Syria, Jordan and Iraq, with contingents from Kuwait and Algeria- surrounded Israel boasting to push it into the sea and annihilate it from existence. Israel then had just a population of 2.5 million people, mostly survivors of Hitler’s holocaust trying to rebuild their lives. Israel was outnumbered both in soldiers and weaponry.
Globally, many thought Israel’s end had come. It was another David and Goliath scenario. But Israel remembered God’s covenant with their fathers, and as David ran towards Goliath, so Israel first launched an attack on June 5, against its enemies, bombing Egypt’s warplanes. Within six days, the great Arab coalition was defeated. Israel had won, gaining more lands and tripling the size of its territory! It was called The 6 Day Miracle! God had fought for Israel! Ever since, Israel has been dominating amidst bigger Arab nations surrounding it.
Kingdom dominion is the portion of God’s people. As a child of God under the new covenant, you are to dominate your world. You are to be the head and not the tail, above only and never beneath. You are to take the lead, while others follow. That is your heritage. Because you are born of God, you are born to overcome the world!
Kingdom dominion comes through right relationship with God. It is by God’s power that we dominate. Adam lost his first dominion through sin. To walk in Kingdom dominion, you must be holy as God is holy. Can two walk together except they be agreed? Purity plus simplicity will deliver to you the power to dominate your world.
PRAYER: Father I’m tired of living below. Please help me to walk in purity and simplicity, so that I can access Your power to dominate my world in Jesus’ name.
