Psalm 126:6  ‘He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.’

There were times in history when the world underwent major changes that affected generations. The Industrial Revolution was one of those times.  Today we can sit in front of television sets, drive in automobiles and generally enjoy living in a civilized world, because somewhere in the 1760, the Industrial Revolution in England happened. All the healthcare, transportation and technology we enjoy today, was due to the Industrial Revolution.

The Industrial Revolution began in Great Britain in the late 1700s. It brought about many cultural changes, as manufacturing of goods moved from small shops and homes, to large factories. Cities began to emerge, as people clustered in various locations to work in factories.  The revolution introduced new technologies and dramatically changed transportation. Uptill that time, for many centuries, the fastest mode of transportation had been horses, but the revolution introduced new and faster ways of travel including railroads, steam boats, and automobiles. Indeed the revolution changed the world, and opened up the new chapter of civilization being enjoyed today.

However, the industrial Revolution was never a possibility without the Reformation. The reformation was a period in history when a lot of excesses in the church were dealt with. From this, a new generation of believers emerged who were fervent in spirit and diligent in their work. The new work ethic then led to the development of capitalism, which eventually helped to usher in the industrial revolution.

Indeed a right spiritual positioning will often provoke a positive change of story. When you position yourself rightly, God brings about a revolution in your life that will catapult you from where you used to be to where you ought to be. Revolution refers to drastic change. When God took Joseph from prison to the palace, it was a revolution as his story suddenly changed. Also when God took David from being a shepherd boy to become the king of Israel, his life was revolutionized.

We can experience our desired change if we are willing to pay the required price. For us to experience a revolution, we need to move up higher in our prayers, study, fasting, and sacrificial giving.

Psalm 126:6 says ‘He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.’

Indeed they that sow in tears will reap in joy.  You need to ask The Lord to show you in which area you need to lay down in sacrifice. The altar of sacrifice is the altar of  supernatural turnaround. Indeed when you go forth bearing precious seed weeping, you will doubtless, definitely, come back again, rejoicing, bearing your sheaves with you.

PRAYER: Lord, please show me what I need to lay down in sacrifice. No matter how precious the seed, please  grant me the grace for obedience, so that I can experience my supernatural change of story in Jesus Name.
