Habakkuk 2:3
‘For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come’..

Historians have written about Columbus’ first voyage to America from many points of view. However one undeniable fact was that Columbus in his quest was guided by the Spirit of God. It was the conviction that he had within him, that caused him to continue pressing forward in his search. Columbus had set sail in 1492. A deeply devout man, Columbus was always grateful to God and dedicated his mission to the New World to the conversion of pagan peoples; like the apostles, he hoped to bring the Gospel to those who had never heard of Christ. However on this voyage, after three weeks of sailing and no sight of land, Christopher Columbus was on the verge of giving up. His crew had become restless. Mutiny was brewing. Discouraged and about to turn back, that was when he finally discovered land. At the moment when all hope seemed lost, was when Columbus realized his dream; America was discovered.
On landing at the shore, he threw himself on his knees, kissed the earth, and returned thanks to God with tears of joy. His example was followed by the rest of the crew.
Habakkuk 2:3 says ‘For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come’
We have to learn to wait upon God and continue to hope on His promises.
When it seems all hope is lost that is not the point to give up, rather that is when to continue to press forward. Often breakthroughs come at the point of giving up.
Remember it is always darkest just before the day breaks. So don’t be discouraged by the things that may try to frustrate you. Keep pushing forward in pursuit of the vision God has put in your heart. Don’t be discouraged by the challenges that may come your way. Every problem has an expiry date, yours is no different. Whatever challenges confronting you now shall not linger forever. It too shall come to pass. No matter how deep or dark the night it has never stopped the day from breaking forth. Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning.
Always remember as a child of God, the greater one is with you. He will see you through. The God we serve is a way maker. He is a barrier breaker who will go ahead of you to break everything resisting your progress. He will give you victory.
Indeed it is a new day for you. It is a new month. July is the seventh month and seven represents perfection. Therefore in this seventh month of the year, God will perfect all that concerns you.
There is no situation God cannot handle. There is nothing too difficult for Him. Believe Him to do for you above your expectations. No matter how your back may seem to be pressed against the wall, God can suddenly change everything. So turn your pain into power by releasing your praise. Trust God for a miracle. And get ready this month for what God is set to do in your life, because suddenly, He will be turning your mourning into dancing.
PRAYER: Lord, help me not to be discouraged by what I may see physically around me, I know indeed you are working out all things together for my good, and soon I will see a manifestation of my victory in Jesus Name. ..

God’s promises in Christ in your life may appear delayed, but never forget that delays are not denials.
