Psalm 114:7
What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back? Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs? Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob.

• How would you like to live knowing that you are under permanent divine protection? How would you like to live in an environment where you know the devil cannot operate. Is that possible? Very much so.
In science fiction there is what is known as a force field. This is a barrier made of energy or particles, which protects a person, area, or object from attacks or intrusions. This field of energy is without mass and acts as an invisible wall, so that objects are unable to pass through the field and reach the other side. This concept has become a staple of many science-fiction books and films.
And presently there is ongoing scientific research into real force fields, primarily to protect against radiation. A University of Washington group in Seattle has been experimenting with bubbles of charged plasma, as a way of creating such a force field.
Though technologically it may all seem a new concept, spiritually we can build a force field of protection around us through the power of praise. You can keep the devil permanently out of your environment through the weapon of praise.
Nonstop praise is what goes on in heaven and as a result there is no place found for the devil. Likewise on earth we can keep the devil out of our environment by maintaining such a heavenly lifestyle of continuous praise.
Psalm 61:3 says ‘.For thou has been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.’
God is our shelter and refuge, a very present help in time of trouble. People often worry about their protection. But as a child of God, who dwells in Christ Jesus you need not have such worries, because in Him we live and move and have our being.
Psalm 32:7 says ‘Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance’.
When we continuously praise God, we are compassed about with songs of deliverance, and our lives are hidden in God. Praise forms a cloud of protection around your household, the garment of praise makes you invincible and untouchable. Indeed we can build a spiritual fence around us with praise.
David was a warrior king who fought many battles, but he never lost any and was never wounded in conflict. In all the battles he fought he enjoyed divine covering.
And in Psalm 140:7 David said ‘O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.’
God’s Presence covered David as a thick shield. It was like a spiritual force field around him that did not allow any evil to penetrate to touch him. And this was as a result of the lifestyle of continual praise that David maintained.
In Psalm 34:1 he said ‘I will bless The Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth’.
Continual praise was David’s secret.
David always ensured he carried the thick Presence of God through continual praise.
Ad indeed if you want to enjoy divine protection, ensure you compass yourself about with songs of praise, Praise always brings God’s presence. and when God is for you, then nothing and nobody can ever be against you.
PRAYER: Lord, please help me to be always surrounded by Your Presence as a shield against every force of darkness in Jesus Name. .
